Nightail batted Sunkit over the head, "Hush!" She spat angrily at him.

Lokistar mewed. We also have two kits ready to become apprentices... She called Wolfkit and Sunkit up to her.
"By naming apprentices we show Tawnyclan will survive and remain strong. Wolfpaw, from now on until you receive your warrior name you will be known as Wolfpaw.

Tigerflame, you are ready for an apprentice, you will be Wolfpaw's mentor. I know you will pass on your cunning, loyalty and strength to Wolfpaw, and teach him the skills that will make him a brave warrior of Tawnyclan."

Tigerflame touched noses overjoyed and shocked.

The warriors uneasily chanted his name.

Sunkit from now on until you receive your warrior name you will be known as Sunpaw.

The clan again murmuringly chanted his name...

Ezziesong flicked her tail, rather disappointed at everyone's reaction, I know I'm still a new warrior, but I can show them that I AM worthy to be deputy.

Stormpaw was sitting next to her, He meowed quietly, "I believe you could be a good deputy."
Ezziesong meowed back, "That's because I am your friend, most of the clan don't think the way you do."
Stormpaw purred, "I was just saying..."

((Now I know how in the books Fireheart must have felt, Yeesh!))

Ezziesong suppressed a sigh when Oakclaw left, she didn't realize it would upset him that much. Stormpaw followed her gaze, "It's OK, every cat wants to be deputy."
"Yes, but how many cats will leave if I become leader? I'll be suprised if this clan even had members."
Stormpaw meowed back, "Cheer up! Your deputy now so down look like your a rotting peice of crowfood."

The clan seemed to quite down.
Lokistar leaped down off the high log and padded over to Ezzieday.
"I have made up my mind, it won't be changed." She nodded.
"Tigerflame, Solarstorm, Stormpaw, Wolfpaw, Glaciercloud and Swiftstrike, we are going
to the gathering." She rasped her tongue over her shoulder as Darkcloud stormed, "Your
forgetting me!!"
Lokistar looked up, "Your forgetting you place. Lets go!" She mewed waiting for Ezzieday and the rest to join her.

The two joined Lokistar and waited for the others.
