Dewdrop had been almost completly out of the path of the log, but she was still clipped by additional debris and took a little trip down the hillside.

Grimclaw had screamed in agony as Tigerpaw vanished from his sight. No - no! Not Tigerpaw! Even so, he let go of the hillside, turned, and all but leaped wildly down the steep hill, running and skidding, slipping and sliding, going further and further...

Meanwhile...

Despairingcall watched the carnage below, pleased with the results. All of the cats had been swept away one way or the other, and he had no doubt that Daystar had died. Their King would be most pleased.
"We have completed our task," he meowed gravely. "By the Will of our King and our Ancestors, we have succeeded in destroying an enemy." He looked to the gray skies, watching for birds. He 'rowred' a strange call, summoning some birds.

Not too far away, a great gray egret perched in a towering pine cocked its head at the call.

Sarok heard his Master's call and wheeled around in the sky with a melodic trill, his dark eyes gleaming.

Carr circled once to watch those bellow him, his beady eyes searched the grounds for movement. Though, at his master's call, the large raven cawed and twisted willingly away.

Hopeless had watched the events below with muted interest. Though it had been truly glorious, it hadn't quite compared to witnessing the death of Shadowstar and of so, so many Warriors.

And also, more birds flocked to Despairingcall of many varieties, hawks and sparrows and finches and a few geese (and Sarok and Carr among them).
They looked at the other cats without fear as they awaited their orders.

Despairingcall looked at each of the birds in turn, pleased with the turnout. "Search the hills for survivors," he spoke in bird language, repeating the command in many dialects so that all could understand. "If any are found, if they can be picked off easily, tricked into death and eaten, if you're the sort, then do so as you see fit. If not..." He paused. "Report back...swiftly." He did not say what would happen if they did not but the threat was evident in how he stressed different sounds as he spoke the many languages. "Go!" The command was a horrid middle ground for all of the separate dialects, with just enough cat in it to be utterly frightening, a deep guttural sound mixed with a snarl and a shriek. Many of the birds took flight abruptly, screaming bird-nonsense in their different tongues.

OOC: I'll probably make a different topic for Dewdrop whenever she resurfaces. What about Tigerpaw? And can we not see Shadowspot where he is?

Carr gave a crow as if sneering the order again and snapped his long matt-black beak at the nearby birds, "move faster, master wants work, master order us, move faster."
He eyed the grounds, He wanted blood on his talons. He wanted to eat the dew cats of the low lands. If he could.

A hawk in the group shrieked it's war-cry and dove towards the ground then pulled back up again to join the massive flock of various birds. He hissed at the seed-eaters and screeched at the flesh-eaters, brandishing his talons as he flew, his keen eyes watching the ground intensely. He would find them. Oh, yes, he would find them. Tear strips of sweet, succulent flesh from their backs. Peck, tear, and peck until he'd dug all the way to the delicious organs within. He'd have the eyes and heart, gently strip away the ears and savor them, peck at the tails like they were snakes just for the fun of it. He'd use his wonderful, sharp talons to hold them and bleed them, make them soft and dead.
Oh, he would find them. And they would die.

Sarok watched said hawk carefully. If he wasn't ever-vigilant, the large meat-eater would tear him out of the sky regardless of who they both served, just because he liked 'sweet meat.' Hawks were treacherous creatures. Not unlike ravens, but ravens and even crows allowed themselves a different sort of dignity. Hawks were just mean.

OOC: That was more fun then it should have been.
I'm going to make a new topic for Tigerpaw in the tunnels. The other birds should find the survivors soon enough in their topic.
