In the early morning, Dewdrop, deputy of DewClan, was approaching the Moonfall from the No-Clan's Land. She was followed by the cats of DewClan that had originally followed Daystar out of DewClan territory, thereby remaining the "true" cats of DewClan. Dewdrop had lead her Clan here after Daystar and others were killed in AbyssClan territory because of reasons.
In the light rain Dewdrop could see the Moonfall in the sea of grass, backed by the Bloodstones above it. They were here so Dewdrop could receive her nine lives and become the next leader of DewClan.
After that, well... Dewdrop would figure it out, she and her Clan together. If they survived AbyssClan territory (though barely) they could survive whatever came next so long as they stuck together.
"Nearly there," Grimclaw said. This was good to the cats of DewClan.

They were soon spotted by the cats guarding the mouth of the Moonfall, sentinels protecting what was left of the Clans (in their minds.)

It was Wolffang who saw them first. The rain seemed to fall lighter, which was nice really, especially since the stocky tom felt wet to the bome and webbed at the claws. He was watching the group come closer, a heavy wariness set in his bones.
"Sunshift," he called to the other tom guarding the moonfall entrance, "look here, look over there. "

The two toms shared a glance before collecting a grouchy Skyblaze and alerting Maplejay to what was going on.
They charged down the steep and sticky bank toward the intruders.

Dewdrop halted and the cats with her did the same. Dewdrop watched warily as the cats approached them, and the other behind her raised their hackles threateningly, but made no move forward.

Skyblaze charged down toward them hissing, tail raised in warning. Wolffang hot on his tail with Sunshift speeding alongside him.
Maplejay followed the toms, squinting against the fall of rain, the cats that were getting closer by the pawstep were starting to look familiar, she realised with a beat of delight and shock.

"Tawneyclan warriors!" She called to the three Tawneyclan toms, "that's just the other Dewclan cats!" Her tail curled in greeting as she trotted up to the soggy 'other half' of Dewclan. She tried to look impressive as a leader should as she came within full view of the downtrodden cats.
For a moment she thought of turning them away, telling them to leave and that Dewclan was better off without them because really they had lost that title when they left.

"I thought you'd return," Maplejay said instead, feeling betrayed by her own feelings.
"Yes, well," Dewdrop returned distasteful at best with the other she-cat's tone, "things didn't turn out how we thought they would..."
Maplejay looked behind her at the cats, guessing without having to ask that some were now with Starclan. She asked herself if she cared and she did. Should she?

"Well, let's get out of this rain, shall we?" Maplejay told her, "I've gathered Dewclan here to take a stance against Mudbloodclan."
Dewdrop didn't say anything, she had nothing to say to Maplejay. So instead she followed her to Moonfall.
