pain of running Empty pain of running

Post by NKninja Tue May 10, 2011 5:16 am

yea, here's the deal.
, just earlier today, while i was practicing for the track meet, i asked my coach how you jump a hurtle the right way... and i doubt saying that.
i was doing great until my coach told me to start jogging... my foot caught the bottom of the hurtle and i landed on my arm.
my injuries are a scabbed right knee, broken glasses and a cast around my drawing hand (right)

at this moment, i am terribly pissed with hurdles and wished there hight weren't as high as my hips!!

(this isn't that much of a flame as it is a tantrum with an lifeless object) Razz

I'm pissed that you're hurt because, I don't like friends to be hurt, or in pain of any sort. >_>

This post is totally over due XD
Okay, now the deal is that we went to a specialist and i now know that i have 2 fractured bones in my right arm, luckily they said that it should not be immobilized so they gave me a removable splint (that i never wear) and now it's acting like it was never injured! Thank starclan that it was a short recovery!

Well, when im jumping hurdles i do a certain trick, and i'll tell u about it so u can try it.
You need a running start, not a lot or you'll lose balance. When you're near the hurdle bend your knees and just LEAP. Then bend your knees in mid jump and you'll clear the hurdle! I managed to clear a hurdle slightly over my hip. Remember, it takes practise to pull your legs over the hurdle! Try with a rope with protection (pillows or mats) first.
