The Ceremonies of Switch and Tiger

[Meany]

In the pale light of the moon, many shadows creeped from the dens of Abyssclan, into the snow-covered clearing of the camp. Shadowstar, a black mark against the moon, stood atop his den.
"Gather here," he growled.
Scream, looking like an angry kit, sat at the base of the den.

Bloodclaw, with his Choosing, Bitter, came out of his den.
"When we reach the den, bow low," he whispered.

From the Servant's Den watched Charmless and Luckless, hiding in the shadows of their den.

[Loki]

Defenseless shivered in the bitter cold of the servants den. She peered out every so often, not so interested in the ceremony.
She looked around, where was SHE-RAT JOYLESS? she thought spitting at the same time.

Crashingflight watched from the back carefully, his ears flicking madly.

[Runfast]

OOC: Heeeeey... That was girly...

IC: Dauntless mewed to the Servants,
"Hey - we gotta go to our Masters!" She padded out and joined Snarlgag, followed by Graceless who went to Despairingcall. Loveless limped out, joining Cunningheart.
Sinface looked to the Servant's Den, wondering where Eyeless was.

Cold looked out with sad eyes, wondering what was going on.

[Loki]

Defenseless rolled her eyes turned and joined up with Crashingflight who didn't look at her.
She sighed angrily.

[Runfast]

Loveless looked around worriedly for Joy. Though they had seemingly fallen out, he still wondered after her.

Graceless followed suit, looking around for their friend. Yes, friend. She missed the spunky young Servant, and the dreams of freedom that came with the friendship.

Loveless met her searching look and shrugged slightly, the two bowing with the others.

[Guest]

Woebringer, being one of the first to be there, bowed, wondering where his Servant had gone to.

Dark and Fire came out of the Choosing's Den, joining their Mentors. They were excited, the two of them. Someday they'd be getting their warrior names.

Shadesun nodded to Fire as he bowed, remembering his own Ceremony which felt like years ago when it had only been maybe... Seven moons ago? Maybe more, maybe less. He knew it was in the beginning of Green-Leaf for sure.

Boneless, the newest Servant (named for her shattered tail), was bowing next to her MAster, Bloodclaw. This was interesting, she thought. I don't know what a Ceremony is!

[Loki]

To Defenseless, she thought Loveless and Graceless were her friends. The split up seemed good to her. She had been putting down her little sister in gossip to them for a while, trying to slowly get them to turn against the rat. Soon enough Joyless could sleep by the entrance and Defensless with the older servants as Joyless did.
Defensless yawned the blizzard now turned to gentle snow, slowly falling.
At her yawn Crashingflight fixed her a deadly look, his eyes clouding with anger.
She whimpered inicently and shrivelled back. He rolled his eyes.
Unsuitable to punish her now...

[Longstorm]

Hopeless stood with Scream at the base of Shadowstar's den , bowing with the rest.

Cunningheart's ear flicked in acknowledgement to Loveless, but that was all. She smirked at Crashingflight's reprimand, purring ever so slightly.

In his den, Tiger watched in anticipation. His time would be soon now.

OOC: The Circle should be getting back now.

[Loki]

Defenseless grew cold and bored, she was tired. She had been... up last night. Now she was feeling drowsy.
Crashingflight was looking towards the entrance. Was that the mew of cats he could hear?
Or did his ears diceave him again.
He concentrated and then felt Defensless lean against him. He swung round slashing his claws hard across... well what ever he hit he never saw at that moment but Defencless's rusty pelt hit the ground quite hard, she was luck it was snow that she crashed upon. She slowly lifted herself dazed.
"By my side servant!" He spat, "Lets hope that woke you up."
He swiveled around his ears hot.

Defenseless got up, her right cheek and a bit of neck stung painfully, and she proceeded by his side. this time; wide awake.

[Meany]

Shadowstar let out a rumbling mew, and the three dark toms, and Bloodclaw rose, standing and looking at their leader with reverence. The Servants stayed in a crouching-like position, but they looked up ever so slightly.
Shadowstar looked for his Powerfuls.

[Longstorm]

Searingeyes, with somewhat ruffled fur like his fellow Powerfuls, slunk into the camp with the other Powerfuls.
He and the other two dipped their heads, taking their place on the side of Shadowstar's Den.

Cunningheart's smile changed when she saw Searingeyes, and his expression seemed to shift when he saw her, but he looked away.

Tiger, upon seeing the Powerfuls, padded out of Cunningheart's den, taking his place in front of Shadowstar's Den.

[Loki]

OOC: unsure to place switch somewhere....

IC: Switch padded down. His heart tightened, Where was Joy? He looked around for her. Nothing.
He sighed looking slightly disheartened, Maybe... Woebringer sent her out... or worse...
He shook the feeling away for now... He would forget about her.

Defenseless watched switch. He was an hansom young tom. His right ear slightly torn, left shoulder scarred and coat shining brightly.

Crashingflight lifted his head to get a good look at Switch and tiger and nodded quite impressed.

[Longstorm]

Tiger nodded to Switch. This was both their Ceremony, and he expected that Switch would be named first.

Cunningheart watched, waiting.

[Meany]

Shadowstar stood taller, his icy eyes reflecting his inner self.
"We meet here at Moonhigh for not one, but two Choosings's initiation into the rank of Warrior. Switch," he addressed him, "Do you vow to die for me, to die for this territory, and to die for the continuation of this clan? Do you vow to draw blood, to take teeth?"

OOC: "I swear this by Those Below/Above" your choice.

[Loki]

He wrapped his tail neatly around his paws and sat straight, looking serious and unbeatable, like the powerfuls. Though slightly submissive and respectful to Shadowstar.
"I swear this by Those Above, That I will." He mewed clearly.

[Meany]

Shadowstar nodded curtly to the tom then looked to Tiger.
"Tiger," he repeated the same question (OOC: Lazy me).

[Longstorm]

Tiger stood straight and mewed,
"I swear by Those Below that I will."

Cunningheart felt pride swell up in her heart.

[Meany]

Shadowstar stepped to the edge of his den and called,
"Switch, I give you your Warrior name. You are Switchblade. May your unswitchable mind strike like the fiercest blade in the night, always." He looked at Tiger. "Tiger, I give you your Warrior name. You are Tigerfrost. May your frosted heart freeze the minds and wills of our enemies." Shadowstar raised his voice. "And may you both one day take a vow for blood, and a vow for teeth!"

Snarlgag, Viletongue, and Razorclaw yowled,
"A VOW FOR BLOOD, A VOW FOR TEETH! A VOW FOR BLOOD, A VOW FOR TEETH!" They were quickly joined by the others.

[Loki]

OOC: jumps around Excitably.

Switch beamed and purred in honnor.

Defenseless blinked up at him.

Crashingflight called their names, His strong voice kicking up the noise.

[Longstorm]

Cunningheart's strong voice joined the insanity, yowling to the sky as though she was telling the inhabitants of the Realms themselves.
In her mind she could see the soul of a white she-cat she had murdered on the border, and in her mind, Cunningheart was mocking her just outside of the border of Those Below -
those who die by the claws of Abyssclan were sent to Those Below for a time. If they were still remembered by some by the time they were let out, they joined their comrades in Starclan, or whoever they believed in.

Tigerfrost beamed in the praise he was receiving. I will be the best, he vowed. I will fulfill all I have promised... and all I am meant to be. He thought to the time Searingeyes had prophesised over him so long ago.

Searingeyes thought to the bodies in the Storage.
If it is your will, my King, he thought. He leaned up to Shadowstar and whispered,
"I think now is a good time, Sire."

[Meany]

Shadowstar nodded and raised his tail for quiet.
"Cats of Abyssclan - the time to use the bodies in the Storage is approaching... We shall return the bodies of Tawnyclan to their clan."

[Loki]

Switchblade felt happyness run through him. Though his mind was trailing off in wander.

[Longstorm]

Cunningheart looked up at her leader, wondering why he planned on doing that.

Searingeyes spoke (he was allowed to after all).
"It would be only for a short time. We'd leave the bodies there, where they couldn't reach them, and they wouldn't carry our scents. After a day, we'd tale the bodies back and add them to the Hall."

Tigerfrost looked up in wonderment.
"The Hall?"

Cunningheart went up to him and mewed,
"Important kills, such as a Choosing's first kill, is added to a part of the Hall, depending on which generation they are from. Your's would go in the newest part."

Tigerfrost looked at his love interest, amazed at this new information.

[Loki]

Switchblade blinked in deep thought. The hall...
He looked to Searingeyes and the others.

[Longstorm]

Tigerfrost looked at Switchblade, his eyes alight in wonder.

Cunningheart looked straight at Searingeyes, but he didn't meet her gaze.

He called,
"The newest addition to the hall is complete, so we'll be able to store the bodies immediately.
