Re: CLOSED The Rain before the hail- part 2
Leopardstorm wipped around, a soft, "Can't be," escaping her lips. She lifted her head high to look across to the croud, passed Wolffang. Not Tigerflame... she begged the nothingness, damn you Starclan!
Solarstorm kept silent, he didn't know whether his old heart could take anymore of the pain... how could it?
Sunshift noted Mistjay, "I only have a few scratches, Leopardstorm and Solarstorm were fine, Wolffang was injured but his shoulder seems to have healed alone. I think its just Ezziestar, Stone and the kits who need the most attention, Ezziestar and Stone were the one's who stayed to attack and survived... I suppose the others just... didn't."

Hollowstripe felt a pang of sorrow for the poor warrior that lied limp there, but she couldn't whimper for a feline she didn't know, even when others around her mourn. She gained back into conciousness and finally answered Gorseclaw's question, " It's a possibility, yet I wouldn't want to be quite close towards Dewclan, as much as I trust their reasoning being here." She gazed up towards the still leaking sky, "But health is more important then rivalry. I don't want Sorestare ending up like.." Her throat choked to say the passing warriors name, but she didn't need to say more to show what she meant. She passed the idea and flew to the point, "Yes, we will shelter at Moonfall."
Smokekit, and Skysoar followed behind Maplejay, obviously and finally showing their exhaustion as they treaded behind.
Sorestare forced himself to stand up and group together with Gorseclaw, Silverpaw and Hollowstripe, showing that he wasn't much of a slacker, even when he couldn't fully open his eyes from both tiredness and injury.
OOC: Will be gone, I posted a topic about it.. Sorry.

((DX NAO! Not Tigerflame! Why? ;--; Oh well... these things happen. and sorry about my late reply too.))
Ezziestar's attention was dragged away from Stone as she heard Mistjay report of Tigerflame's death. Which was followed by Wolffang's cry of sorrow. No... it can't be! Ezziestar quickly made her way towards where Tigerflame's lifeless body was, she lowered her head, her nose hovering from his pelt. No heat came from him, it was true; He was with Starclan now.
Ezziestar sat up, her body hunched over in her own grief. She had grown up with Tigerflame and she remembered when they all had their apprentice ceremony. Such memories clung to her mind, almost as if they were brambles that clung to her pelt.
Ezziestar whimpered, half to herself, "He was a good warrior, and a great friend. Tigerflame's memory will never be forgotten."
Stone stared at the scene before him, this wasn't the first death he had seen, but he felt as if all essence of Tawnyclan's hope was lapped up by nothing but the greed of others. It didn't feel right. He got to his paws and slowly sat near where Tigerflame lay, "I never really knew him," He began, he and Ezziestar locked eyes for a brief moment, before she turned away, "But I wish to pay my respects to such a noble cat."
Ezziestar looked at him again, half surprised,
"You don't need to worry about that." Ezziestar meowed softly, "You hardly know him."
"But I'd still wish to treat him with the highest respects I can, if I may." He added at the end, directing to both Ezziestar and Wolffang, but he didn't mind if Wolffang didn't hear him. He's in his own sorrow... There was nothing I know of which says you can't mourn.

Honeyfang turned around and raced up the hill to the top of the Bloodstones just in time to see Mistjay shake her head. No, not him! she thought with her mouth slightly open knowing what Mistjay meant. Whiterose saw Honeyfang race up the hill and was trying to decide wether to follow or not. maybe I should follow? maybe she is mourning a fallen Clanmate and doesn't want me there? she wondered. OH! get a hold of yourself whiterose, if she is mourning a Clanmate then she will need some help getting though it! she scolded herself.

Gorseclaw nodded. "Alright." He flicked his tail and Silverpaw drew closer to him. Alright, I understood that one, she thought, pleased that she was starting to catch on to signals.
Silverpaw had glanced into the entrance to the Moonfall earlier and had been in awe. Now she was feeling a little nervous about sleeping there, even if it did mean getting out of the endless rain.
It's where leaders go to speak to StarClan...will StarClan be looking out at us from inside the Moonfall? She shivered at the thought - or maybe it was the rain. Probably both.
Gorseclaw didn't share the same sentiments; he'd been to the Moonfall before, back when he was an apprentice. It had been dark and there had been only the sound of the steady drip-drip-drip of the strange, hanging rocks that made him imagine his own mountains upside-down. Well, StarClan won't mind a bit, he thought. It's probably going to be cramped like it was at the 'Shell. Not that he minded. That meant it would be plenty warm. But we're probably going to have to make dirt in the rain. Gorseclaw wasn't looking forward to that.
The two DarkClan cats stood with the other DarkClanners, awaiting further instruction even as the DewClanners made their way through the TawnyClanners that were turning and bounding back to the still form of Tigerflame.

Whiterose went up the hill to see what Honeyfang is up on the Bloodstone for and when she got up there. She scan the clearing and saw the sleeping lump of fur of Tigerflame and then she found Honeyfang looking has if she deep in thought with her eyes wide and mouth slightly open. And then she looked Honeyfang were was looking and found that she was looking at Tigerflame again. So she went over to Tigerflame and saw that he wasn't breathing and when ever took a breath she scented death he was dead.

Re: CLOSED The Rain before the hail- part 2
Hollowstripe took one last glance towards the dead warrior, What a shame... At least he died knowing his clan could mourn for him. Her pine eyes were hollow, thoughtful at most, but little to no emotion towards the dead warrior anymore. She didn't understand, why does she feel so uncaring towards that tom? Was it because of that battle? Where the scent of burning skin and fur was all she could see, that this wasn't as bad as that? Yet it was as bad as that, and she saw it for that. But why didn't she care as much as the others?
Forged in exhaustion now, Smokekit was leaning beside Skysoar, who as well had bags against her eyes. The stone flooring of this place felt quite ominous, and the thought that their Starclan ancestors had protected this place for centuries gave her a glimmer of hope. But why would they not aid us against the mudbloods a moon ago? "Mama?" Smokekit managed to sear out through a yawn, "Why does this place feel so, weird?" Skysoar had forgotten that she had never spoken about Moonfall to her own child, or at least that Starclan cats connected with the mortals near this place. "My dear, if you rest, you might be able to find out soon enough," She replied weakly.
The inside of the Moonfall wasn't at all what Ravenswift thought of it to be. No glistening lights, no visual masterpieces that he heard through so many clan stories, nothing. He only let out a shrug, and stretched his cold, numb paws. It must be deeper into this cavern... And I'm not exploring something looking so fragile... He took a low glance towards Maplejay, seeing how powerful she looked in the dimmed lighting related to all the other hunched Clanmates. He couldn't not think that everything was going to be fine, only if she was by his side.
OOC: I've been reading this AMAZING book! It's called, My Name Is Not Easy, and freaking.. It's been inspiring my to write some more. I think I'll able to be more active then I expected while reading it.

Re: CLOSED The Rain before the hail- part 2
OOC:Sorry about the incomplete post [earlier]. I was in a hurry.
Whiterose now knew why Honeyfang looked horrified. So she went over to Honeyfang and said "I am sorry about your clan's lost, I'm sure that he was a great warrior." Honeyfang replied "he was a great warrior." She said with a shuddering sigh. Honeyfang just sighed again and thought as she and Whiterose headed down to the MoonFall with Whiterose comforting her This is so unfair to us StarClan! Haven't we gone through enough already! She pleaded to StarClan in her mind.

Re: CLOSED The Rain before the hail- part 2
OOC: Since NK has posted Hollowstripe in the Moonfall.
IC: Gorseclaw and Silverpaw, though both sad for TawnyClan, were both removed emotionally from the death of Tigerflame since he had not been a close friend of either of theirs.
Gorseclaw noted that Hollowstripe was heading towards the mentioned Moonfall, and he gestured for the others of DarkClan to follow.
Silverpaw gave the growing crowd a last lingering gaze then followed her mentor into the Moonfall.
OOC: Moonfall is THIS post here.
If any of you wants to make a separate post in the same board for some reason or another, feel free.

Re: CLOSED The Rain before the hail- part 2
((I'm just going to wrap up what I was doing.))
Ezziestar waited behind until Stone nudged her shoulder, "It's time to go. We can't afford any other cat to get sick from this weather."
He began to make his way to join the other clan cats. Ezziestar felt warm tears fill her eyes, "Could we at least bury him?"
Stone shook his head, "Where? We have no home to bury him properly. We have to leave him."
Ezziestar turned around, "I'll refuse to leave until we give him the respect he deserves!" Ezziestar's voice was a growl, and Stone was almost bowled over through the hostility in her eyes alone.
Stone stood his ground as he tried again to convince her, "We can't show him respect on shared territory, please... let's go."
Ezziestar growled more loudly, "What would you care? It's rogues who would live outside respect, but you wouldn't understand, would you?"
Stone didn't answer her, he felt a pain claw at him, it wasn't a physical pain, but it hurt just as bad. Will no cat understand how bad I feel for not being clan born? Suddenly, it hit him.
"Is this about Lokistar?" He meowed quietly, keeping back tears of the sadness that grew within his heart, heavy as the mineral he was named after.
All signs of agression and anger left Ezziestar. Her tail began to droop, her ears lowered and head began to fall. Her eyes avoided contact and she proceeded to stare at the ground. "We left her..." Ezziestar whimpered, "We had to run like frightened rabbits, leaving behind the many we had... we couldn't even say 'Goodbye'... We had to leave behind so much, our home, our friends... our clanmantes..." Ezziestar's murmuring was cut off with silence, warm salty tears flowed down her cheeks.
Stone's memory took him back to the battle, it was the first time he had seen Fire and Smoke. The heat was unusual to his senses and the smoke stung his eyes and nose.
"Can't we even show the amount of honour we have left?" Those words brought Stone back into the current situation they were facing.
"You can't change the past... what has happened, happened, we have lost many cats and I don't think Tawnyclan could manage with losing their new leader also."
Ezziestar eventually agreed and allowed Stone to lead the way back to Moonfall, Ezziestar never let her eyes leave Tigerflame's lifeless body, she forced herself to think that he wasn't dead, but sleeping in the rain, and that he'd be awake and ready to fight and hunt in the morning.
((Ok, I'm going to post at Moonfall now.))

Re: CLOSED The Rain before the hail- part 2
Mistjay had chosen to respectfully stand aside as the cats of TawnyClan grieved, but that didn't change the fact that she felt some annoyance at the TawnyClanners simply going into the Moonfall without letting her examine aforementioned injuries. Well. I'll just have to examine them in the Moonfall. The scarred medicine cat followed the other cats down to the Moonfall.
And also, Foxclaw made sure Gentlekit made it into the Moonfall with everyone else.
And Mustardstorm went too.
