Cliste and Lasair padded into the cave, followed by Smoke. Fierie leapt out to greet them. She licked the two wolves' noses and gave Smoke a cuff on the ear. "You really are one meddlesome little furpuff, aren't you?" she asked without waiting for a reply. "Anamacha!" she called.
The dark brown wolf came out.
"Teach this pup how to clean the floor. He'll be taking your job today."
Anamacha was about to explode with joy, but kept a straight face. "Sure."

Smoke moaned, "Do I have to?" His ears flicked irritably at the thought of the job. [i]Maybe I should have gone and explored somewhere beyond the territory instead.

"Yes, you do!" Fierie barked, nipping him again. "Now Anamacha'll tell you how to do it." she walked off with her tail swishing agitatedly.
The dark brown wolf nudged Smoke. "Come on." he bent down into a crouch. "Get in a comfy crouch," he instructed.

Smoke snorted as he did what he was instructed, This is bird brained! I can see why no one likes doing it, it's absolutely rediculous!

IC: Anamacha came over to check. "gooood," he murmured. "Now just lick. It's better to clear off the dirt and dust with your paw before lick, or you'll end up with a huge dustball in your stomach!"

Smoke began the licking, and suddenly, he sneezed, sending some of his dirt and dust flying away. He tried to stifle another sneeze to prevent sending all of the dust flying around again.

IC: Anamacha stifled a small laugh and walked off, calling, "You're doing great! A few more moons of this and you can take my place as floor-licker!" he went into his sleeping nest and curled up for a nap.
