Search patrol

[Loki]

Ounce again the patrol stopped, All of them waited for Tigerflame.
Tigerflame staired across the Abbysclan border.
Wolfpaw padded up to him.
"Your lagging again..."
"Sorry... Listen to me Wolfpaw."
Wolfpaw looked at Tigerflame with uncertainty glazing his eyes.
"Over that territory are two cats I need to destroy, If ever I were to fail... Then
you would take my place."
Wolfpaw staired at his mentor with disbelief.
"Understand?"
"Yes Tigerflame, but_"
"No... Today is not the day but soon."
He trotted on to cath up with the others.

[Longstorm]

A short ways off...

Cunningheart lead Paleclaw, Switchblade, Shadesun, and their Choosings along the border. They would be patrolling the border for most of the day (nearly 12 hours!) so they were taking their time walking along.
"Fox was here," Paleclaw called up quietly. Cunningheart grunted, noting that it had fled.
Cunningheart padded along, her large paws barely making a sound.

[Loki]

Rainstorm stopped and looked around him. "Abbysclan..." He hissed. Tigerflame came by his side. "Come on... We don't need to stop, their not worth it."
Wolfpaw looked across the border and hissed.

[Longstorm]

Cunningheart's ear flicked at the hiss - she could smell the patrol, it was only through the thick, thorny bushes that grew here.

Paleclaw's fur bristled at the whispers.
"Tawnyclan," he hissed, clawing the ground with his reinforced claws.

Cunningheart chuckled.
"Pay no mind to them - they are only our concern if they cross the border."

Paleclaw scoffed, but nodded, his ears swiveled in the direction of the patrol.

[Loki]

Wolfpaw looked across and heeded Tigerflame's words. "We should take them now..."
"Be quite, Wolfpaw."
Rainstorm chuckled, "We wouldn't want to surprise them..." He mewed sarcastically.

[Longstorm]

The patrol was now matching the pace of the Tawnyclan patrol - hey, they were headed the same was anyways. Cunningheart slid out of the bushes, which had thinned out, and padded along the border, looking at the patrol out of the corner of her eyes. The rest of her patrol followed, still walking at a relaxed pace.

[Guest]

Swiftstrike followed the two silently.

Tigerflame yawned. Rainstorm walked confidently up his side. Wolfpaw looking across into the abbysclan territory, as if the patrol were no there. Overhead a raven cawed, It eyed them all up watching and waiting for something to happen.

Swiftstrike had been on a few patrols none as silent as this one. Something as not right.

Fire, the Choosing, looked up at the sunlight that filtered through the dark tinted leaves. It was beautiful in this territory. The snow had begun to melt, so this was going to be one of the last patrols for a long time. It was going to flood soon. Be in the camp, or stay near the border, but not in between. He sighed and inhaled.
Tawnyclan. They smelt of damp leaves and dusty bark. Gross, he thought, smirking slightly.

Shadesun looked at his Choosing and wondered absentmindedly what he was thinking about. The dark gray tom glared with harsh orange eyes at the tom known as Tigerflame. Oh yes, Shadesun knew of the vows that bound that forester to his clan. Shadesun rolled his eyes. Live, die, whatever may happen was set in the stars, not in stone nor words. He continued to smell the border, making sure no one had crossed. Cross and die!

A long, thin , gray bird joined the raven, looking down on the patrol with black eyes. It let out a scratchy call, an eerie sound.

Swiftstrike looked at from were the noise was coming from. Just birds she thought.

[Loki]

The raven began to caw agitatedly and took to dive bombing the Tawnyclanners.
He aimed at a grey small cat at first but thought better of it as claws flashed past
his wings. Wolfpaw hissed and Tigerflame narrowed his eyes to the the Abbysclanners.
Their trickery was nothing here.

Swiftstrike watchedd in utter shock.

[Ezziestar]

Stormpaw hissed in irritation at the raven. Ezziesong was staying low but she too was getting annoyed by the bird.

Swiftstrike was slightly annoyed and curious about the bird.

[Longstorm]

Cunningheart glanced up at the gray bird... She'd seen that bird before, somewhere. Cunningheart turned at the sound of the black bird.
"Hehehe - It would seem the birds don't care for Tawnyclan!"

The rest of the patrol began to laugh, tails lashing as they walked.

[Ezziestar]

Stormpaw raised a paw to bat the bird but Ezziesong flicked her tail at his nose, stopping him from attempting.

Swiftstrike looked behind her at stormpaw and ezziesong there is some tension between them.

[Ezziestar]

Stormpaw glared at Ezziesong but neither of them said anything.

Swiftstrike looked forward though she wanted to help but it was none of her bussiness.

[Loki]

Carr hissed angrily, no. He didn't care for Tawnyclanners. Master said they were bad.

Tigerflame smiled. "Abbysclan trickery, They have no allies so they'v retorted to talking
with the birds. How pitiful."
Wolpaw laughed," Abbysclan don't need friends. Their far too powerful," He cherped sarcastically.

Swiftstrike listened abyss clan talking tio birds strange.

[Ezziestar]

Ezziesong ignored Stormpaw as she murmured sarcastically, "How predictable."

Swiftstrike decied to zone out from the wrold and into her thoughts.

Stormpaw was unseathing and sheathing his claws, he really wanted to get into a fight.
