In this topic, the warriors of TawnyClan and DewClan leave for battle, and those who cannot fight go to hide and inevitably die.

Meanwhile, in the Moonfall the weak, wounded, elderly and young of TawnyClan, DewClan, and DebrisClan were huddled inside of the Moonfall. They had watched their warriors leave them, they had said goodbye to them, and some had prayed for them; in the end, though, they were there, and the others were outside.
All they could do was wait.

Among the cats within the Moonfall were: TawnyClan queen Mosscloud and her kits, Cloverkit, Sagekit, and Snowkit; TawnyClan queen Russetfleck and her kits, Bluekit and Nightkit; DewClan queen Skysoar and her kits, Gentlekit and Smokekit; little lonely Moonkit from CoreClan, brought by Crow, who was outside. Also there were the various wounded of the Clans.
Moonkit was not in a good way - one of the medicine cats had noticed that this little kit was ill. Kitten cough, it seemed, but a very advanced case. Moonkit was nestled at the soft stomach of one of the queens and was not fussing at all, worrying all of the queens present.
It wasn't very long after the warriors of the Clan departed that Moonkit gasped once and sighed, and then didn't breath again.
The grief was felt sharply by everyone present. It was a terrible omen, just as terrible and omen as the silence from outside. The kit would be taken deeper into the Moonfall, more likely than not. There wasn't much else than could do else than that, aside from groom the poor little creature's pelt one more time...

Jura, one of the Mudbloodclan seniors broke through the ranks of Dewclan and some of the psuedo clan cats at the mouth of the Moonfall. He had them all slaughtered. Pinned down with throats cut.
He continued into the Moonfall, deeper, deeper until the scent of milkiness hit. The smell of queens and their kits.

He flicked his tail, it's usually custom of our clan to not touch kits, but then again, we are four hundred strong...

The screams of the remaining kits and queens echoed through the chambers.

Skysoar of DewClan and Fiddlerpaw and Frostpaw of TawnyClan had been at the front of the cavern deep with the Moonfall, all standing guard to protect the cats that lay within. Together they stood against Jura, and together they fell to his claws.
Among the dead lay; Skysoar's kits, Gentlekit and Smokekit; Mosscloud of TawnyClan and her kits Cloverkit, Sagekit, and Snowkit; Russetfleck of TawnyClan and her kits, Bluekit and Nightkit; and various other straggler cats that had tailed after DebrisClan. It was a bloody, gruesome sight to behold.
