I'm gonna talk about something that happened in the RP world that affected a lot of things and how things could have been different and where I went wrong.

So. Thornstar, previous leader of DarkClan, is my cat. Redstar is the new leader. Redstar wasn't sure who to name as deputy, so who tells him?
Dead Thornstar, that's who. Thornstar tells him to name Hollowpaw as deputy. Why? Well, she's pretty smart, she wasn't in the Rebellion so it'd bring the Clan together, and it would just be interesting. It's not as though there was anyone else who was really eligible for the position, you know: respected, experienced, had apprentices, wasn't in the Rebellion..No one at all.

Except for Smokepelt and Lightningpelt.

NOW, Redstar is all depressed and worried, Sunmist is going a little insane and poisoning her Clanmate's minds with words of dissent, and people are DEAD.

Could this all have been avoided? Some of it, SURE. All I know is that my decision may very well spawn yet ANOTHER civil war in DarkClan.

Another civil war? That seems a bit of an overstatement.
This just means Hollowstripe has to work her ass off and show that she's worthy of such a position. That'll be some hardy plot development on my hand though! God, my poor bark colored kitty is FAR away from being respected by any senior warriors! I'll tell ye that for sure.
