Maplejay announces what is next...

OOC: I don't think I was clear enough to announce a clan meeting in the other one and since it was in the wrong place anyway I thought it necasary to make a topic all about it. Maplejay has some news for the halved clan.
IC:

The rain was cruel and everlasting as it fell from the sky and muddied the ground. Maplejay had come to what appeared to be a shocking revelation and concluded along with Ravenswift that they needed answers from not only Starclan but the other clans on what to do.
The best way to do that was by heading to the Moonfall and that was what she was planning.
The entire left-overs of Dewclan-no-this was Declan, she had been thinking about it, this was Dewclan.
Daystar left with the bitter words that those he left behind were not part of his clan.

All of the clan cats knew that these marshes belonged to the cats of the Dewclan and the Dewclan cats that had left were condemned to death the day they left willingly to fight Abyssclan. Tawneyclan lived practically next to the clan and they were ecstatic on the amount of good cats lost to that forsaken clan.
The calico sighed, this is what is left of Dewclan.

With Ravenswift already sitting encouragingly bellow, she took in a worried breathe before calling out the order:
"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey join underneath the tall rock for a clan meeting."
there, she thought proudly. She couldn't think of how powerful that order made her feel.
"But will they take me seriously?" She asked herself quietly.

Brownhowl, sitting in the rain outside of the Warrior's Den, felt the fur on the back of his neck bristle severely.
He turned in shock to see the source of the voice in the rain, and was almost not surprised to find that Maplejay was atop the Tall Rock.
O...kay.
The brown warrior stood and loped over to the Tall Rock. He stood near Ravenswift and craned his neck to see Maplejay in the rain and light and the hope and fears...

Skysoar softly treaded out of the Nursery, prancing behind her, Smokekit and Gentlekit (Augsp, I recommend RPing Gentlekit now, good start for her)
The queen was worried sick about Rayclaw leaving with Daystar and that patrol off to Abyssclan.. What could happen to him? If he didn't come back alive, she would be devastated, as if it was bad enough losing one of her kits already.

Smokekit bounded beside his mother, but unnoticing of where he was stepping, tripped and fell into a puddle, his dark pelt now sopping wet from tip of ears, to pads of feet. "Oh dear," Skysoar murmured, picking up Smokekit by the scruff, and sitting to the right side of the Tall Rock, cleaning Smokekit with long licks.

"Mom! Please! Stop it!" Smokekit wined, squirming in his mother's grip, "Shh.. It's not polite to speak so loudly while cat's are gathering," Softly, Skysoar touched noses with her kit, and looked upward, giving full attention to Maplejay.


Ravenswift, took an anxious glance and Gentlekit, who was still taking her time padding towards the Tall Rock. I'm amazed she can carry he weight around still, He thought quickly, Bringing his green eyes up to Maplejay.

Maplejay nodded in appreciation to the cats that had come out so far.
Now there were just a few to come.

[Runfast]

Mistjay poked her scarred face out of the medicine cat's den. While inside she had been brooding somewhat hysterically over her role in framing MudbloodClan and the hollow message she'd received when she was named full medicine cat in the hateful eyes of her ancestors.
But now she was here, pushing those thoughts to the side and walking out into the rain to sit beneath the Tall Rock.
What fate awaits my Clan? And how shall I serve it?

Foxclaw looked over from the dwindling fresh-kill pile and went to sit beneath the Tall Rock.
His thoughts flickered to his cousin and his uncle and his apprentice, praying to StarClan that they would do well wherever they were.

[Loki]

Maplejay found herself overwhelmed when Foxclaw had come out, and to see the illusove Mistjay regard her callout was very uplifting.
"I called the clan," she said with the last two words firm with determination, "to announce that myself and Ravenswift have speculated That the Mudblodclan cats will not return here, they were simply waiting to strike the other clans.
I have decided that we must all travel to bloodstone to see if Starclan can be of any assistance. Maybe we may find another clan seeking guidance from them, all the better for Dewclan."

[Runfast]

Mistjay felt a jolt of terror at the mention of speaking to StarClan. She also felt a ray of shame as she realized that her own ancestors frightened her far, far more than an almost unstoppable force of cats.
Maybe it's supposed to be this way. No-no, I need to be thinking about other things...

Foxclaw called out, "Do you think there are Clans left to unite with?"

[Loki]

"There must be," Maplejay replied, hesitantly, "Darkclan and Tawneyclan, I hope they will be there, if they are then our own chances have risen by a great amount. If not then the high ground of the bloodstone will guide us. Either way we'll be safer."

[NKninja]

Skysoar held her tongue softly, and quickly raised her head, " What about Gentlekit? She can barely come into the clearing without stumbling over her leg! How can she possibly travel to Bloodstone in good health?" She called, curling her tail around her handicapped kin.

Ravenswift pricked his ears, "Skysoar, I can help you with Gentlekit. We both will take turn carrying her. I'll keep you near the front of the patrol with her if anything else happens."
Skysoar nodded softly, her eyes resting on her kit.

[Loki]

"Thank you Ravenswift," Maplejay nodded to the tom in appreciation, when all this was over she'd catch a deer for him to eat! Well... An owl or something tasty... a deer might be a bit... big?
"Anyone else curious about anything?"

OOC: I'm loving the activity!

OOC: Cos Switch isn't here, I'll just do this one liner for her charrie...

IC: Grimclaw listened to Maplejay intently. (OOC: THERE!)

Foxclaw looked over at Ravenswift and company. "I'll help too," he promised.

Mistjay spoke up. "Do you believe StarClan will answer?" And why did I just say that out loud? The she-cat shivered. I'm so in my thoughts that I don't give just ONE for the mental stability of the Clan?!?
Foxclaw looked at Mistjay in surprise. "Wouldn't they? They're our ancestors, aren't they?" He was getting a little concerned. Mistjay was the medicine cat after all, she would know these things.
Mistjay's head snapped to look at Foxclaw. "Yes, yes - StarClan answers, but not always the answer we seek," she spouted off a line Jayleaf had told her all the time.
Foxclaw nodded, relieved. "Okay."

[Loki]

"either way the high ground will benefit us," she thought for a moment, "eat your fill, we'll need to be well fed for a journey like this."
She nodded at that, not the leader she thought she could be. Sighing she nodded, "that is all."

[Guest]

"Wait. Won't this be putting us right in the middle of two Mudblood camps," Grimclaw called. "The Red Hills on one side, TawnyClan territory on the other? Where would we go if Mudblood chose to attack?"
The dark tom, usually highly optimistic, looked nervous.

[Loki]

"we'd spot them before they could creep up on us," she waved him down, unusual for her to be optimistic. "those fat cats don't know the meaning of stealth."

[Guest]

Grimclaw sighed heavily as he nodded. "Alright." It would have to do.
Eat, Maplejay had said? The tom wasn't sure if he could eat. In fact, he thought he might get sick. Or I might not, he smirked as his stomach growled. He looked to the fresh-kill pile. "I could eat..." Looking at the others, Grimclaw smiled for the first time in days. "Can't face the apocalypse on an empty stomach!" Empty words, but he wanted smile and laughs, this time, every time, one last time...

[Loki]

Maplejay sighed softly, that would do.
The clan would eat and then head to bloodstone, she looked up at the sky which was still drizzling.

OOC: I say we should throw out a time skip for this part of Dewclan. Make a new topic about their travel maybe?
