The DewClan Patrol

Dewdrop, deputy of DewClan, was leading her patrol of four through the rain and towards edge that made the space between DewClan's border and No Clan's Land.
Her gray fur bristled as she came out of the brush. "There's smoke coming from...everywhere." She may have seen it before, but seeing it from such an open place, despite the rain made the damage all the more real.
The deputy looked to the North - DarkClan's lower forests were smouldering. She looked to the West - there was no way any cat could live in those lands, not now, not with so little protection. Dewdrop looked to AbyssClan; they looked practically unscathed, but it was hard to tell in the rain.

Rainheart almost shuddered as she saw what Dewdrop was seeing. Great StarClan! What is happening now? She fretted, and shook some of the water off her pelt.

Dewdrop shook her head, mewing, "Unfortunately, it look like Mudblood knows how to get things done..." She looked back at the small patrol she was with. "Come on," she ordered. "We need to go along the other clans' borders." She set off towards the DarkClan border.

IC: Ravenswift cooly nodded to Dewdrop from behind, gazing warily off and around the carnage that could be seen, " I didn't expect it to come this out of hand," he mewed softly, not speaking directly to anyone.

Foxclaw could only stare out at the smoldering territories beyond. The orange tom swallowed harshly and slowly followed Dewdrop, his legs trembling.
Shadowspot, in turn, surveyed the territories over the tall grass. He didn't say anything, but his eyes narrowed when he saw just how badly the territories to the North were faring - specifically TawnyClan.
Teeth slightly bared, he followed Dewdrop.

Rainheart shuddered again, feeling the icy bite of the howling wind go through her matted and soaked pelt. Reluctantly, she followed the deputy through the bogging mud.

After getting close to DarkClan and getting a better view of TawnyClan, Dewdrop had seen enough. She spat in disgust before saying, "Damned Mudblood traitors." She looked back at her patrol, the wind blowing her glossy fur. "Let's head back," she called, and she did an about-face. The gray she-cat padded towards DewClan camp, thinking about what she hoped Daystar would say the plan was for the Mudbloods.

[Rainpelt]

OOC: Is this over?


IC: Oh, why did Mother had to name after this rain? The discouraging thought crossed the she-cat's mind, but she did not allow them to remain. Her head hanging low, Rainheart trudged back toward the DewClan camp.
