Pantherleap sighed once before laying down to rest. During the fire it felt like she was the one that had worked the most, and still, the camp was ravaged. Flicking one of her ears, she acted uncaring as burnt ashes of what had once been her flesh flaked off and fell like snow to join its brethren at her feet. One price to pay.
But how many more to come?

Blackclaw returned with a squirrel, threw it into the prey pile, and plopped down. "This place isn't so bad!" he mewed, "the prey here are quite plentiful--what happened?" He studied the hostile glances.

Crow only rolled his eyes to the kit, and raised his he'd to what looked like the burning sky. " Oh my dear Flake, if only you were here, you'd know what to do.." he murmured to himself. A feeling as if a dagger struck his heart begn to throb in his chest, as it did when he watched her die, the blood reflecting her faint face still burned in his brain, like a living hell. Bereft in his gaze, he walked away from the Searclan. He had to get his head out of the clouds; his clan needed him in a time of darkness.
