QUESTERS - Fleeing then Lost
Bluepaw of Darkclan had ran for her life. Nothing was in her mind but freezing terror, a terror that burned all the way down to her pads.
Starclan save me... She and - she didn't know how many - others had been running for sunshifts. Sometimes they had paused, but an occasionally sudden noise sent them running again. Now that the sun was nearly set in the west, they were dragging their paws along - well. All but the strange silent tom from Abyssclan.
Eventually, though, they stopped in a clump of bushes. Bluepaw lay down with a 'thud', the others laying down as well.
She still didn't know how many there were, but she'd find out in the morning...
Sunlight.
Bluepaw woke with a start when she remembered the terror of the lions the- previous? - morning.
The blue-gray she-cat looked around frantically, fur fluffing - then smoothing out. There were no lions, no evil things. Just sunlight and the scent of cats she had become somewhat familiar with.
The two dark colored toms from Abyssclan were there. As Bluepaw understood, one was a 'Choosing', an apprentice of the Clan. The other was what their Clan considered to be a warrior.
A sudden snort caused her to look to her left - there was the orange and white she-bear from Cityclan. Even now Bluepaw looked at the she-cat's dull claws and somewhat chubby form.
Scorchpoint was stretching his neck. He knew full well who he had somehow managed to get out of that barn and was disappointed. My claws for a band of Warriors, he thought mournfully.

Re: QUESTERS - Fleeing then Lost
Commons was enjoying a very nice dream. Satin, on his deathbed, was proclaiming Commons the new Chancellor of all of Cityclan, and saying that she was stronger than even Scourge and that they would never have to think about the Clans again - dogs had torn them to shreds.
Then Cityclan grew and grew and grew and they had strong soldiers, and the last scraps of the Clans were coming out of the woodwork, begging entrance into Cityclan. Commons, a strong, beautiful leader, turned them all away, then set dogs on them just for fun.
Then she lead a battle against the two-legs themselves, and one by one all two-leg Clans fell to their might.
Then giant cats came and killed her.
Commons woke with a thin shriek.

Dark, a dark gray Choosing of Abyssclan, looked over his shoulder at the ginger and white she-cat. He stifled a snort of amusement, looking away as his whiskers twitched. Above help him if he got into a spat with the she-bear of Cityclan.
She might sit on me. Dark lost it - he laughed out loud.

OOC: We're probably gonna have to wrap up these 'Dwellers' topics after the battle - of course, we can manage. We know the sub-plot, we've gone over it many times.
A-boo-ya.
IC: Scorchpoint looked over at the Choosing, hearing his laughter. He could easily guess why the young tom was laughing, and the Warrior didn't mind. He smiled ever so slightly, just at the corner of his mouth, and looked away, hiding it.
Bluepaw looked from Dark to Commons then to Scorchpoint and couldn't help but join in. It was nice to laugh. Really nice to laugh, especially after what had happened.

Re: QUESTERS - Fleeing then Lost
Commons looked around in confusion for a few moments before she remembered where she was. Then she realized what that sound was - laughter - and that it was at her expense.
The she-cat bared her teeth, narrowed her eyes, and stood. She glared at the uncivilized (in her mind) Foresters and shook her luxurious pelt. Filthy, ugly, terribly ruined coat, she remembered with a pained expression as she turned away from the cruel laughter.
Commons thought, and not for the first time on this journey - wretched thing of a 'quest' - that she never should have left her home. That she should have remained, seen what the Council was planning exactly, and eventually have slithered her way up the hierarchy until she finally achieved her dream no matter what the more treacherous Council members were planning.
Commons fought to keep her pelt from bristling. A civilized lady does not allow the enemy satisfaction, she thought fiercely. Oh, if only my coat were still pristine, she mourned. With her beauty restored she knew it would have made everything much easier. Much, much easier.
The patched she-cat began to groom the base of her tail with vigor, pointedly ignoring the others as she did so.

Re: QUESTERS - Fleeing then Lost
Scorchpoint turned fully away from the laughter and took a few pawsteps towards the trees they were surrounded by. He opened his scarred mouth and inhaled deeply. He caught the scent of some distant prey and the smell of rain that may have been moving away from them as the winds shifted.
The mottled gray Warrior looked back at the younger cats. He tried to catch Dark's eye and made a slashing "silence" gesture. Laughter will only attract unwanted attention in the long haul, he knew.
Bluepaw's laughing turned to snorts and giggles, finding the situation somewhat more funny having seen Commons' reaction. Maybe things aren't so bad.
OOC: EDIT MAY 2, 2014: I called Dark "Cold." My bad.
