My kitty!!!

My kitty!!!
He's really sick! He's on my shelf on the moment we think a rat bit him or something and
his breathing is really shallow. We took him to the vets but the vet said to put him on anti biotics
and said to feed him them with pilchards because a cat would have to be dead to not want a pilchard!
But he ain't eaten the pilchards now, can't move and his eyes are open and staring weirdly!
I'm gonna brake down if he dies i dunno what to do!?
Re: My kitty!!!
UPDATE! Are there any visible wounds on him/her? If (s)he isn't too touchy, try prodding him/her to find out where it hurts.

Re: My kitty!!!
Save your words guys he died 5:37 am last night in mine and my dad's arms.
RIP Gibbs, I love you so much!
As you can see he's a beautiful cat! He has that 'knowing' in his eyes.
I stayed awake all night listening to his breathing go shallow and then about, 5:35
he jumped from the shelf of which He was resting on above my bed, looked at me
and then started to have a massive heart attack on my floor.
I'v never seen my dad so swift in my life when I called.
At least he died with his family, in his castle where he belongs xx

Re: My kitty!!!
No need to apologize my friend. I guess there was nothing we could do. He'd given up
and thats about it. I think the worst part was waiting for him to stop screaming and pass away.
I wish I could have taken his place though. We never could imagine Gibbs dying like that I guess.

Re: My kitty!!!
It's uber sad, but bittersweet that he's no longer suffering.
Still sucks OMG, though.

Re: My kitty!!!
You have a point but I wish it hadn't been a heart attack but death in his sleep. My grand dad died in the same way, and I'v had a heart attack myself and its no fun experience. In all good reasoning I should be dead but I'm not, so why should my cat have suffered something for which he damn right didn't deserve?
It's like what my friend said; Life's a b!tch.

Re: My kitty!!!
I'm sorry to hear about that. Can't the English dictionary find a better word then just 'sorry'?
I know, my neighbor and I shared a stray a last year, and "owned" it for several weeks. My friend loved the cat a lot, so when it disappeared, she was...really sad. So I know a bit of how it feels to lose a pet.

Re: My kitty!!!
Thing is; we love them more than pets, their family.
I can't stand to think why people would want to treat
them any different. Depression and loss ain't a good
things to home at the same time. I want to cry but
I can't anymore my eyes are dry.

Re: My kitty!!!
I so wish some people can invent something better than just 'I'm sorry (to hear that)'...
Re: My kitty!!!
Like i'v said there is no need to apologize. I think the best medicine for grief is to remember the best times;
My friends are my greatest recipe in life! as I like to say.

Re: My kitty!!!
Pet sounds too much like a toy or entertainment, but they are friends who never leave your side and will die for you. They do not express their feelings in words, but in gestures.Pets are companions. They will love you forever. They are smarter than what we give them credit for.

Re: My kitty!!!
I guess pet sounds too far-fetched from the love and companion animals give us. Like Migu, he was almost given away because we weren't taking good care of him. But then I persuaded my parents to let us keep him, and I'll do most of the work. I think it's pretty much worth it for extra work. And have you ever read the amazing stories of "pets" saving people's lives? It's just so...touching and sweet and awesome.
Re: My kitty!!!
yeah, there was one about a dog getting HIT by a car to push his blind owner out of the way.The dog didn't make it, but there is a statue of him in Detroit. Dogs name: Chef

Re: My kitty!!!
Let me bust in with a post because I just want to brag about my dog:
Dude - my dog was with my family for 14 years. We've had him since I was 2- I grew up with the smelly old guy!
He was awesome, he could do little tricks, he always seemed to know when we were feeling down...
Now none of us (my fam) want to look at the floor because he would shadow us wherever we went, sometimes we call for him because we've forgotten.
We have a puppy and a cat - both of them have been very quite lately, and sometimes they seem to be looking for something.
Aaaaaaaaannnnd these are MANLY TEARS.
