Brownie, the young loner tom who'd found (and returned) Tigerkit and Bramblekit, sons of the late Flower-something or other, was looking for Daystar. Brownie had been living with Dewclan for a few moons now, and he really, really, really, really wanted to ask him something.
"Daystar," the brown tom mewed hesitantly into the den. "Are you in here?"

Daystar's head looked up from what looked like a nest of some sort. He looked at Brownie, feeling guilty that he hadn't given the tom a proper name or even a mentor...
"Yes?" He mewed hiding his inner thoughts.

Brownie inched into the den a little more and dipped his head.
"I'm sorry I'm bothering you," he mewed quickly. "But... I was... Well, I was wondering if..." Brownie took a deep breath. "CanIbeapartofDewclan?"

Daystar looked at the little tom, Flabbergasted.
"Your already a part of the clan aren't you?" He mewed
feeling embarrassed. "You need a naming ceremony!" He mewed
at ounce.

OOC: What would you like his affix to be?

OOC: He's a little young... I think he'll be an apprentice for three moons then get a warrior name, since he catches on fast...
But call him Brownpaw! He agrees, Browniepaw is just silly. I'll know what his suffix will be after his training.

IC: Brownie smiled broadly, surprised delight in his eyes.
"You-you mean it?" Of course, he knew Daystar meant it. "That's great! Thank-you Daystar!" He dipped his head again, beaming. "This is great!"

Daystar smiled eagerly and mewed, "Would you like your official joining of Dewclan now?"

Brownie nodded,
"Yeah! Tigerkit and Bramblekit will be thrilled!" Brownie had remained friends with the two motherless toms during his time in Dewclan.

[Guest]

Bramblekit padded towards Brownie, carrying a moss ball. "Hey Brownie, wanna...." he left off when he saw Daystar. "Oh, hello Daystar." he bowed his head to the Clan Leader, like his mother told him. Bramblekit wished she hadn't died so soon. His apprentice ceremony was coming, and he often had dreams of training as an apprentice.

Brownie spun around and mewed excitedly to his friend,
"I'm gonna be an apprentice!"
