Speaking With Shadowstar
Hopeless, a Servant in her prime, padded into her Master's den. The den was larger than it looked, comfortable, dry, and warm. That, and it had many escape routes.
She continued until she could see a thin, black tail sticking out of the shadows.
Hopeless dipped her head, gritting her teeth and mewed,
"Your Majesty."

Re: Speaking With Shadowstar
Shadowstar didn't turn to greet her, his eyes fixed on a pale blue stone perfectly imbedded in the stone wall, surrounded by small carvings.
"Hopeless," he mewed quietly, an acknowledgement most Servants never received. "And no. You may not attend with us. I don't want any argument from you, the matter is settled." He shifted in place eyes glancing to the symbols. "I know you don't understand..." Shadowstar's voice dropped to a whisper. "But they won't be able to see you if you stay."
Finally, he turned to see her, his thoughts awhirl, the faintest glimmer of... fear? In Shadowstar's eyes?
"If you claim to be loyal, heed my command: Stay."

Hopeless glared at her King, anger unmasked, as was her right to display for her Master.
"Yes, my King," she nearly spat it. With that said, she dipped her head, spun around, and left.
