name: Kusu ( short for phoenix in japanese)

appearance: Kusu is a trumpet swan with a small tint of grey on her wings, tail feathers and on her chest, has a bright yellow beak and pale amber eyes shaded by black.

personality: kusu is very clever and wise in some cases, she knows much about phoenixclan. she almost never gets aggressive, even at the foolish of birds, and always shows kindness to others. but when others want power and destruction, she will kill them if necessary.

history: Kusu's parents were cruel to her, they tortured her as if she was a slave and attacked her when she did something wrong or was taking a break. one night, her parents forced her to battle them, when she was only 11 moons. kusu won and killed her parents, she didn't want to, but she did.
she was very close with phoenixclan and met them almost every night in her dreams. now, she travels everywhere to tell other birds about phoenixclan and what would happen if i did not exist.
(she is like a bird missionary for short)


PS: this time i choose a trumpet swan, they may be pretty birds, but you don't want to piss one off. that and these are birds are large, herbivores (i think) and cant fly in the middle of the summer because they molt all there feathers and cant fly for 2 months. thats why kusu stopped at this forest

The only problem is that its not that realistic.

thats a three month golden eagle chick. The possibilities of it killing its parents (look at the size comparisent of mom and baby in the picture) is just really low. Then you have to think of the long term effects. She wouldn't know how to fly, hunt etc Golden eagles eat other birds so they won't rush to have a conversation with her about Phenixclan.
Why not down size? a jay or something, more friendly a bird.
try and work on details before you rush into something.

sorry, i was going for a character like the badger in midnight, but i will change it soon enough. i just have to find a bird like that.

PS: i chose golden eagle because golden eagles are known to come around the eastern part of america year round, and not common.

Wanna know what a trumpet swan really looks like? here's a portion from Trumpet of the Swan (yeps i hav that book)

No red/yellow tints there.

thank you captain obvious, i know that.
and the beak is actually yellow/ red, its just black around it, well for some.
and, to make it more different then other swans, i made it red tinted. if you dont like it, i would gladly change it into a Black Swan... (love that movie)
im meaning, i will change the red tint into a grey color, it will be more realistic that way... just for you
