Missing cats

[Longstorm]

"We have cats missing," Tigerfrost declared loudly and boldly, his voice echoing slightly in the quiet camp.

Paleclaw, grumbling because he had just woken up, snarled,
"Keep it down..."

"What makes you say that, Tigerfrost," asked Cunningheart.

Tigerfrost smiled at her then mewed,
"Scorchpoint wasn't in the Warrior's den, and he's not in camp. The Servants have been saying that one of their own didn't sleep in her nest. Sinface and Switchblade say their Choosings are missing!"

Cunningheart's eyes narrowed.
"That many missing..." She shook her head then mewed, "Shadowstar needs to know."

Tigerfrost nodded, looking around.

[Loki]

"I bet Mudbloodclan got rid of the weaklings..." Mewed Moanfang half heartedly stretching.
"Say that to my face, warrior, My choosing is in that list and..." He paused.
"What he was weak from the beginning a burden to the clan and a tasty snack to the birds." He smiled coldly, "Maybe your dad was doing you a favor, you wouldn't look such a fool. When you realize that that choosing was wrongfully put in YOUR paws."
"Your words mean nothing, We'v lost allies... I'm going searching."
Switchblade turned and left the camp. His body showing nothing but calmness.
Though on the inside he was hurting.

Crashingflight padded out, sretching and narrowing his eyes, "what..."

[Longstorm]

Cunningheart glared at Moanfang.
"Can it, youngling. You know nothing if you do not care for the Choosings. Besides, last I checked, you only passed with the lowest achievements."

Tigerfrost smirked the younger Warrior's way.

Paleclaw chuckled, which turned into a mocking laugh directed towards Moanfang.
"Point for the she-Warrior!"

Tigerfrost joined in, glaring at Moanfang all the while.

From the Servant's Den, Hopeless was looking out in a worried fashion.

Moanfang licked his paw an approved smile on his face.
"Oh dear, Some cats are very touchy. You know... Switchblade doesn't
care about his choosing, he's only worried because of that one she-rat."
He stretched, "I'v never seen a proud Abbysclan tom druel SOOOoo much
over a she cat catching a piece of prey in my life. What a fool." He mewed in a
amused sense of fasion. "By the time I'm done..." Moanfang smiled indecently.

Crashingflight nodded although he wasn't one to gossip, he hated Joyless of all the servants.
"He couldn't stop talking about her the other day..." He commented.
Trueskin interrupted, "Young cats... should be left alone."
"What do you know beetle brains," Moanfang snapped.

Trueskin snorted.

Eyeless looked around, Where was Joyless though?

[Longstorm]

Paleclaw 'ooooohed' and laughed.

Cunningheart chuckled darkly.
"Perhaps he was thinking of furthering his own bloodline, which seems to be more promising that yours." Cunningheart flashed her innocent/seductive expression his way then mewed to everyone else, "Oh, no. Think of it! What if Moanfang learned how to breed!"

[Loki]

Moanfang put down his paw and smiled, "Keep that in mind, Cunningheart,
Because we all know your little story... Those who like to look into the past.
We all make mistakes I guess. You killed your master? You probably could now
but then... Nothing adds up, he must have been ILL or oh so weak for you to do so."
He laughed, "But that depends, I'm not interested in any she-cat here,
their all ugly..." He stood.
"Work on your relationship... Cunningheart, before you comment on others."
He turned, "Well, I'm off to see what I can find out, The more information you
know... The better."
Moanfang flicked his tail high, and trotted off.

[Longstorm]

Cunningheart looked at him cooly and mewed,
"Of course. It would be tragic if you were to speak without knowledge... But you wouldn't know anything about that, would you, mutt." She smiled, licking her paw.

[Loki]

"Mutt?" Moanfang laughed turning his back on her, "Poor She-cat, is that the best you can come up with. Inside your crushed because deep down no tom will take a fancy to you."
He looked around at her ," I pity you... I really do. It must feel good to be able to stretch your legs and be called a warrior." He looked back forward and padded on, "In my eyes, your a she-cat who has done more than a days work and got an award for it, your nearly as worthless as Joyless or..." He looked to eyeless and unsheafed his claws, her reaction was to cower.
"yes..." He carried on, "Take that into account..." In moments he had gone.

Crashingflight watched him leave and shuddered, "I hate that guy..."
Trueskin hissed, "Youngsters should be left alone, they know nothing."
He sighed, "And you encouraged him."

OOC: Uh, excuse me? No one knows about Cunningheart's kits, much less who she had them. As far as they know, she cares for no one, but she favors a few cats over others. She's an experienced Warrior that can take out just about anyone, including snarky younglings...

The older, Abyssclan born cats know how she became a Warrior: she murdered her master and his Warrior son.
Btw, she's totally killing him later.

OOC: Thanks, and I kinda figured. I just wanted to make sure you knew that no one knows. And she's still totally killing him later. I'm thinking... betrayal...

IC: Cunningheart just laughed and pawed a piece of fresh-kill from the prey pile, her natural claws pulling the nice parts off, leaving the sickly bits.

Paleclaw watched after Moanfang and nodded to Trueskin.
"You know, Cunningheart, you did..." He fell silent when he saw her eyes. "Oh."

Cunningheart's eyes were glinting in amusement. It had all been fun and games, in her opinion.

Tigerfrost looked to where Moanfang had exited and mewed,
"I wasn't like that... Was I?"

[Guest]

Shadesun, coming into the camp with his Choosing, mewed,
"No, no... You kept your mouth shut, like a good little Choosing."

Fire hid his grin by ducking his head.

Woebringer padded into the camp. It'd been a while since he'd been there, but he'd been on a secret mission. The calico tom snarled,
"My Servant is missing?" He looked around, an expression between angered and calm.

Shadesun spun around, thrilled to see his surrogate father again. He dipped his head and mewed,
"The she-rat along with two Choosings and a Warrior."

Fire quickly dipped his head to the Protector.

[Loki]

Trueskin commented, "Some believe it is the fault of Mudbloodclan, They're trying to make a statement."
Crashingflight yawned, When did Trueskin become so normal? Had Searing eyes looked at him? He missed The Trueskin that didn't talk much. Wait... He started acting normal when he became good friends with... he sighed, Switchblade. Does that tom think he's... something special?"

[Runfast]

Soulvoider slunk out of the Powerful's den. He saw Woebringer and mewed in his deep voice,
"Long time no see. How was it?"

[Guest]

Woebringer dipped his head and mewed,
"Nothing too major occurring. Apparently Tawnyclan and Dewclan have cats missing, as well."

Despairingcall, following Soulvoider, didn't look surprised.
"Interesting," he mewed.

Woebringer nodded and mewed,
"Yes... Perhaps it's all connected?"

Desparingcall shrugged then mewed,
"It's a conversation for you and Shadowstar, for certain." Of course, Despairingcall knew exactly what was happening, and he didn't really want to give anything away.

Woebringer looked thoughtful and mewed,
"That would be best." He looked at the other cats then slunk off to Shadowstar's den.
