Later On in the Day Empty Later On in the Day

Cunningheart padded out into the sunlight, the warm rays making her lovely white coat shine and her amber eyes gleam. The black markings on her legs looked dark against the light dirt and pine needle ground of the clearing.
She smiled and padded over to the fresh-kill pile, picking out a nice mouse and digging in.

Later On in the Day Empty Re: Later On in the Day

Joyless, one of the early birds, was out too. Her pelt shone, the grey and black reflecting against the sun. She yawned and stretched, With Woebringer off with what ever Woebringer did in these fine days, there was time for snoozing and relaxing and... so on.

Eyeless, followed her out a while later looking around to make sure Crashingflight was not near.

To jinx the small she-cat came Crashingflight. He lumbered out of the den, his tail swishing like mad.
Being half bob, his pelt was long and cruel and did very little for him. So he padded straight out into the clearing hissing, "I want my bed nice and a juicy piece of prey with me, I'll give you a shift, Servant."
Eyeless narrowed her eye, and sighed, "Yes, master."

Next came Switchblade and Trueskin out of the warriors den. Trueskin looked strangely settled and talked 'normally' with Switchblade. Joyless blinked... how unusual. Have Those Bellow smiled upon him?

Later On in the Day Empty Re: Later On in the Day

Tigerfrost woke up in his den, yawning widely. He sighed and slowly stood, stretching. He exited the den, seeing the other Warriors, and nodded to those he passed on his way to the fresh-kill pile.
He smiled at Cunningheart as he chose a mouse for himself.

A Short Ways Away...

Paleclaw was now agitated. He was both tired and hungry and the road to the camp seemed to get longer with each step of his heavy paws. Paleclaw yawned widely and sighed.

Switchblade and trueskin picked a mouse and a squirrel.
They joined Joyless. Who seemed to be getting Switchblade's
attention again. "Morning," He mewed to her taking a bite and offering her
a share.
She nibbled a bit and looked up, "Morning, its hot today is it not?"
"Hot? Its warm, not so hot the prey will be hiding..." Replied Switchblade, making sure any of the senior warriors were not paying attention. "Hot...hot... this is as warm as it get after a cold winter," Laughed Truesking.
Joyless was cautious, this tom was known for being a nut and suddenly turning from a good mood into bad. Lately he had been better, perhaps one of the powerfuls did something... Joy concluded.

Later On in the Day Empty Re: Later On in the Day

Only a Short Ways Away...

Scorchpoint looked up to see the entrance of the camp. He nodded to himself, thinking about eating and resting. The sun was strangely warm today and all he wanted to do was rest in the cool, dark Warrior's den.
Scorchpoint thought about the message he'd received from... Well, he didn't know! He'd been walking along, perfectly awake, when he'd heard and seen strange things... He knew that the Powerfuls had a Chamber of the Moon, so that must have been what it meant. Maybe, tonight, he'd visit it.

Paleclaw saw the entrance of the den and picked up the pace. Food and rest were only a short ways away! He reflected on the previous night, how they'd intimidated Darkclan, how Razorclaw left the patrol when they entered Abyssclan territory to join his fellow Night-Border Patrollees.
Woebringer had vanished, saying he had some business to attend to, so no one questioned it when he left.

The patrol entered the camp, Shadowstar at the front. The Warriors behind him scattered, going to their den or to the fresh-kill pile. Scorchpoint almost missed his chance to nab a bit of fresh-kill, but was able to snag a mouse. He gulped it down as fast as he could then went into the Warrior's den.

Paleclaw grabbed the last piece of fresh-kill and looked at the awake Warriors.
"Want to know how it went," he asked them.

Cunningheart looked at him and nodded - she could guess, but she wanted to hear.

Joy sat watching from outside the servants den. "Your clan will die..."
She mewed agitatedly and looked up, "Unite or die?" She shook her
head. I can't keep a head of these prophesies, she thought, But that
definatly was not a straight message from Those Above, no... It was
much more.

Later On in the Day Empty Re: Later On in the Day

Cold padded out of the Choosing den, his thoughts awhirl with the dream he'd had. He looked around for Searingeyes, someone, anyone who might know what any of this meant...

Soulvoider slid out of the Powerful's den and looked for some fresh-kill. Empty.

Grace, coming out of the Servant's den, saw Soulvoider. She ducked her head but he glanced over at her. The two held eyecontact for seconds then they both looked away, small smiles on either face.

Dauntless, upon seeing the fresh-kill pile empty, saw Sinface pad in and look at it in dismay. Sinface mewed,
"We should go hunting." He was looking at his brother, who had gone on the Patrol with him.

Loveless nodded, and the two padded out. Dauntless, knowing Loveless was tired, called,
"I'll help," and joined them.

The weary brothers nodded and the three left.

Grace nodded in greeting to Joy.

Joyless nodded in acknowledgement to Grace. "You should go with them."
Joyless nearlly fell out of her fur, "Switch!" She mewed wide eyed.
"Come, we can hunt, I'll see if you can catch a rabbit without me."
Joy replied hotly, "I'd like to see you try and beat me at catching one."
"We'll see," He mewed and butted her.
She stood and padded out with him. Switchblade was glad Woebringer was not
around, he wasn't sure why...

"Wait up!" he called, joining the hunting party.

Later On in the Day Empty Re: Later On in the Day

As his son was leaving, Despairingcall slid out of the Powerful's den. He watched after Joy and thought about what Searingeyes had told him earlier on in the morning.
What a prophecy, he thought. The journey will be long, but worthwhile. He sighed at the sight of the fresh-kill pile being empty.

Dark and Fire padded out of the Choosing's den. Dark was unusually quiet, thinking about his strange dream. Was it about the Chamber of the Moon? He'd heard of it but he'd never seen it... Maybe one of the Powerfuls could - wait. He wasn't able to tell anyone! Dark sighed, thinking hard.

Fire noticed his friend was being quiet, but he said nothing. Let his friend think. If he wanted to talk, he would.

Shadesun looked around the clearing, dismayed to see the fresh-kill pile empty. He saw Fire and said,
"We'll train in the evening. Stay out of the sun, it's a scorcher today."

Fire nodded, glancing at his friend.

Later on...

It was official. Dark knew he had to leave. He would miss his quiet, thoughtful friend Fire, but something told Dark that this was for the best. He licked his sleeping friend's ear and padded out of the Choosing's den.
Dark took one last look at the camp, and left, using the South exit.
