A strange den Empty A strange den

Post by Guest Thu Feb 24, 2011 10:33 am

It was old and roughly dug, probably an old badger den. The cat, with his rippling whie tabby stripes, crawled out, looked around and yawned. For a moon he had feasted on the rich pickings from this mountain, undisturbed by other cats. He wished he had followed his son here moons ago. No one could stop him.

Sharp watched from the ledge of Redrock ,The corner of the boundary.
He was on his way to see how Darkclan looked after them selves,
now he had seen something... interesting. A scrawny cat was down there.
Preaning its self. It didn't smell of foul rotting deaf- "not Darkclan then," he sneered.
Then the smell of totting dead came. two cats, one sickly and the other mad in the heart,
now he thought about it... the others were as well. These cats meant business...

(OOC-dnn de deeeeee time for thornstar and daughter!)

OOC: This is about a week and 1/2 after the Gathering - yay, we move along! Btw, the madness is hereditary - I feel sorry for all of TS and BB's kits, and their kits kits, etc., etc.

IC: Thornstar, out hunting with Robinsong (who had vanished in the tall trees, hunting a rarely seen robin) spotted Sharp first. He fell into a crouch in dead, gray bushes which his gray fur blended into perfectly. His amber eyes gleamed as he glared at the tom, the wind blowing the tom's scent his way. The familiar stench of Abyssclan, but overlaid with the scent of the City and of rock dust. Thornstar's ears flattened - apparently Shadowstar hadn't been in the mood to tell him that he had defectors in his clan. Thornstar's keen ears heard a slight 'snap' and he saw the ragged tom - in his territory! He called softly,
"Robinsong!" He launched himself at the tom, his howling battle cry beginning just as he reached the tabby, it echoing through the valley.
OOC: Valley of the Passed, that is.

OOC: Psst, sorry, but Ripple isnt scrawny. Hes fat becoz hes been eating prey from Tawnyclan AND Darkclan. And what color is Thornstar and Robinsong? BTW new style below for writing. Any opinions? Its like Ripple thinking to himself.
The cat was on top of him. Shredding his pelt. But Ripple wasnt afraid. He'd spent his entire life fighting. His claws were sharp. He could take this strange cat. But that was until the second cat came. This one was smaller. But she was strong too. As if their entire lives had been spent to lead up to this one battle. If it got too fierce, he could just back out and run towards the trees, where his son was. His son would feed him. His son would protect him. There was no reason why he shouldnt. Then came the third cat (lets say Sharp joined in the fight for some crazy reason). He was definately more vicious. He clawed with force, tearing into his skin, ripping his pelt... He would never survive this alone. (EDITED)

OOC: They're in the Valley. There are no cliffs. Check out my siggie, it shows the territories. That, and Thornstar is so bat-crap crazy he won't leave Ripple until he's dead.
Btw, Thornstar is a gray cat with dark amber eyes (he's the avatar for my account) while Robinsong is light brown w/ blue eyes.

IC: Thornstar grinned in an insane way as he tore the tom's pelt to shreds. Easy. So, SO easy. His smile grew wider as he was joined by Robinsong, his flesh and blood.
"DIE, ROGUE SCUM," he yowled as he dug his hind claws into the tom's stomach.

OOC: AND, there's no way Sharp would just cross the border like that - Thornstar would have his TEETH, wouldn't he?

IC: Robinsong ululated (OOC: no, not dirty) her odd, robin-like battle song, overjoyed at the thought of shedding blood.
"Oh, father," she called in her lovely sing-song voice, "this is too easy!" She bit and clawed at the tom, easily drawing blood. Robinsong leaped on top of him, aiming to land the killing bite.

Thornstar yowled in rage/glee, biting into the rogue's throat the same time as Robinsong.
