Pigeonwing padded in, looking around to find a dry spot.
"mother, why are you in here? Are you really THAT old?" it was Frostkit. She h,ad followed her mother in from the nursery.
"yes, Forstkit, i really am old." Pigeonwing sighed, the years were like an onion, peeling away and getting smaller with each peel.
