daystar wakes...........

Daystar jumped up.He was in the medicine cat den.A shadow danced across the ceiling.It took on the shape of a cat.Daystar stood up and backed away,full of alert.Then,the shape jumpd off the ceiling and became more solid.It became solid enough,that Daystar could easily describe it.It was a gray tom with black eyes who was badly scarred and had eyes that looked souless."Striker,"Daystar whispered.Striker simply nodded,and stepped outside the den and nodded toward the sky.The message was clear:You will be among them,soon.....The ghostly cat faded with the air,and soon their was nothing there.

Mistpaw came back after searching what she could, it was tough for her since Leafbare wasn't as kind as Newleaf, however she did manage. Mistpaw blinked her eyes as she entered the den, Jayleaf wasn't there, Maybe Jayleaf went to go find more herbs... He should be back before Moonfall. Mistpaw sighed, she wasn't too certain she knew what to do without him here. She wanted to ask him more about signs, and if he could tell her if her dream was a sign.

Mistpaw began to organize the herbs she brought back with her, she only wished Jayleaf was here with her, she wasn't too confident that she knew exactly which herb went where.

Later the herbs were placed back where they were supposed to be, she sat down and looked up at the sky, "Please come back soon..."

Mistpaw then noticed that Daystar was awake, She picked up that something was wrong, "Are you OK Daystar?" She meowed.

Daystar didn't answer.He looked at his own paws.A horrible thought came to his mind.He tried to shake it away,but it was stuck."Mistpaw.I need to tell you something about that dead she-cat from the gathering.The story about why she's here along with the leage will not be pretty..."

Mistpaw sat down quietly, she looked at Daystar with unblinking eyes, "What's on your mind?"

"It's not much as on my mind.It's more of what happened" Daystar sighed,"6 moons ago.I was a young warrior in Tawnyclan when it happened.The clans were attacked by the leage.At first,I didn't know what to do.My hatred grew for a cat who left me for dead,and somehow,my hatred grew into power.I was practically invincible,and i killed anything in my way.I wouldn't listen to reason,and i killed so many cats...........That power and blindedness is what happened to me before I blacked out.And I fear that the worst is yet to come..."

Mistpaw sat back on her haunches. I fear there is worst to come... Where the only words that echoed in her mind. Mistpaw was too speechless for words, "Do you think the league's going to come back again?" She asked after what felt like hours.

"They are back.On my way to Eclipse's cave, I found a she-cat with her kits.I told them I would take them somewhere better,though I doubt she believed me with my wounded body.Anyways, on the way there,we ran into three assasins from the Leage.They wanted me and the she-cats's kits,but I tried to protect them.By the end of the day,I ended the assasins' lives,almost took my own,and was responsible for the deaths of 4 innocent cats.I also ran into another one when I ran into Flowerfur,sso they've been hunting me down for 3 moons."

Mistpaw began to tremble, but it wasn't from the cold. So... if the league is hunting our leader down... Mistpaw then stammered, "D- do you th-think that they w-will come here?"

"they will," he mewed strongly,"And they will not hesitate to take me down.So I will tell you one thing.Leave me alone at all times during the night.If they see you,they will eliminate all,and I mean all witnesses.It's best if you stay away.

[Ezziestar]

Mistpaw then meowed, "But I can't abandon my clanmates, No matter who they are, what would I tell Jayleaf if he asks for me to make sure your ok?" She shook her head, "If I refuse, he's going to think I'm neglecting my duties, I don't want to be unloyal to my clan."

"I can easily take care of myself,Mistpaw.I really want you to be careful."

Mistpaw then meowed quietly, "Why did you ask me? Why not Windblow?" Why not Jayleaf?

"Becuase i have a special feeling about you.i think you will be as important as me someday."

Daystar sat down."Get the clan in here.I have a plan."he mewed.

Mistpaw hesitantly nodded, she left the den temporarily to fetch who she could.
