Flight, being a larger tom with black-and-white fur and dark blue eyes, was rushing to get his lunch. It wasn't often that the Gatherers came in with a full bucket of fried chicken!
"Excuse me," he mewed softly, edging around Mothers and Younglings - Relay, one of the older Younglings joined her friend.
"Hey, Flight!" she mewed, excited. "Can you believe what they've brought back!"
Flight, as they were walking, shook his head with a smile.
"No - I'm still wondering if they dreamed it all!"

Yami, the youngest Gatherer, joined the two cats. He was beaming with pride even though he wasn't the type to 'beam', usually shy and quiet. He mewed,
"Hello guys... Hows the chicken?" Then his words were rushed, "Orhaveyounot hadanyyet,Imean,itISalongline..." He fell silent, nervous.

Jazz, a ginger and white tom (with one of the patches looking like a two-leg music note) was grinning as he padded up. He was mewing,
"We never would have found it if not for Yami here," the older tom nudged the not-quite one-year old tom. "Clever, this one! Simply brilliant!"

Yami ducked his head, happily embaressed.

Relay laughed good-humoredly.
"Great job, Yami," she rubbed against him for a moment while Flight watched in a semi-jealous way/
