CLOSED Terra and Paleclaw

[Longstorm]

Terra, a tuxedo patterned queen originally from CityClan, was walking near Paleclaw, a pale Warrior of AbyssClan.
The two (though they disliked each other greatly and had really only met a day ago) had been thrown together by Scourge, on a mission to the City.
Terra didn't yet know the full extent of the mission, but Paleclaw did; they were going to reestablish strong contact with the sister-Clan and 'bring about a new era of peace and prosperity,' if Scourge's words were anything to go by. Paleclaw didn't really think that the changes to AbyssClan would ever stick, but he had to obey his King no matter what.
So here he was. With Terra. In the rain. Looking for Snarlgag.

Terra sighed in frustration as she flicked her ear to rid it of rain water.
"What is this mission anyways?"
Paleclaw did a similar frustrated sigh and rolled his eyes before turning to look at the she-cat. "It's about CityClan," he huffed.
Terra's ears pricked up only to get more rain attempting to slide into her ears. "What about CityClan? What does AbyssClan want with CityClan?" She was beginning to fear the worse. Had AbyssClan decided that her former Clan (as she truly thought of it now) that it had served it's purpose and a 'cleaning' was long overdue?
Obviously some of this inner panic was showing on Terra's face since Paleclaw snorted and meowed, "We're gonna reconnect with them and bring about a new era of innovation and strength, or something close to it."
Terra was intrigued. "Oh." She thought about it. This could reshape the City's future - it could be the end to raids!
Paleclaw had turned away and was scanning the shadowed landscape. "Where is Snarlgag," he grumbled. Last thing he wanted to do was to head to the lower south side of the hill to look for a patrol. Maybe they were on the east side, with any luck...
"Why us?" Terra derailed his train of thought. "Why the three of us?"

Paleclaw shrugged - then realized that knocking his shoulders up wasn't good for keeping balance since he was still limping heavily since Cunningheart had taken off most of one of his front paws.
That she-rat, he thought darkly.
"I dunno. Maybe because I'm half-useless and the King wants to get rid of both of us by having Snarlgag kill us," he snapped bitterly.
Terra's eyes widened. "No," she meowed firmly. "That's not it."
Paleclaw nearly shrugged again - thought twice - and shook his head instead.

OOC: To finish this topic off and maybe make a different one.

IC: Paleclaw and Terra searched for the wayward Snarlgag. They found him. And the other one that hung around with him, and a former Servant (one she-cat tended to look like another to Paleclaw, and Terra was too new to know anyone - she'd been in AbyssClan not two days and suddenly the brand new leader was sending her on a special mission? Weird.)
They also found these three listed cats with two random kits. Well alright then.

And thus, the three whisked themselves off CityClan-ways (and this is weeks before the Questers get back, holy moly.)
