Standing Vigil

[Longstorm]

Well, Outcasts, true tragedy has struck my fair family. We've lost our long time warrior, Boots.
He died suddenly, only 10 minutes ago, and somewhat humorously - he sniffed a piece of dog food, then fell over, dead. We're assuming it was a heart attack.

Boots was with us since I was in 2nd grade, so I'm not too sad. He had a good, long life. And, as he would, he left abruptly and without notice or care as to how we felt.

So, yes.

None of you knew I had a cat, but now that you know I do, I do not.

Here's to Boots, a good cat, fine warrior, and the wonderful excuse he's given me to stay up till dawn.

The dog is somewhat wary of her food now.

...DAMN, he was fat.
He liked cheese, he liked bananas, and he was most certainly solar powered (like all cats.) He killed one of my pet birds - but, oh well.

So sorry for your loss Lonstorm, he's chasing mice in the endless sky of stars at the moment or he's fast asleep somewhere XD

Wow... I'm so sorry for your loss LS. I do know what it's like for a pet to die... Long live Boots and may he wander around the stars like the cats in warriors.

It's sad when a pet leaves... either by death or they never return to the household.
If you need to talk to someone, I'll be here, and I may know of many others who would be willing to talk if you need it.

That's just horrible! Your cat died from eating something and you don't know how.. DANG!!!
I know the feeling of when an animal dies, since my dog was put to sleep because of a tumor only last year. Daww that got me..
