CLOSED Despairingcall and Switchblade Have Improtant News

Despairingcall, followed by his son, Switchblade, bounded into AbyssClan camp.
Despairingcall ignored anyone who may have been in the damp clearing and headed straight towards the King's den - though, he did notice the white foreign she-cat in the center of the clearing, but there we are.

Switchblade followed swiftly at his father's wake. Trying to look just as eary and mystical though he supposed he was just looking like a self-important, stuck up, 'my-daddy-is-a-powerful', young tom-cat.
He looked sideways at the small white she-cat and the kits that were taking it in turns to watch her.

He shook his head, somehow un-surprised. There was nothing that could surprise him with this clan anymore.
"Halt!" Mewed Fresh, watching the two suspiciously.
Switchblade had to prevent himself from laughing, the tom clearly did not know who they were.
"Step aside, young Fresh," He mewed in good nature, "We have news for the King."

Despairingcall was at his son's side. He looked down at the good-natured Fresh and meowed, "If you don't trust us to go in, maybe you could tell the King we are here?" It was less of a question and more of a command, but it was an interesting situation that was happening near the base of their mountain.

[Loki]

Fresh looked up to Despairingcall and felt fear tickle his insides, a feeling he had never felt before... but why? The white and silver-tabby tom stared wide eyed before turning and muttering, "I'll do just that."
He looked behind him once before disapearing into the kings lair and mewing, "My king?"
He could only squint at the dark light that cut against his eyes, "two cats have news for you?"
The tom-kit was a little hopeless as he said it, but he felt he must try to appear un-afraid. Since he'd been here... everyone seemed so much more different than his loving mother, everyone seemed hardened and... dark?
He wasn't sure.

Switchblade frowned slightly. The tom sidn't know how to feel around these kits. Maybe he should just keep his distance, maybe everything would go un-aggravated and that she-cat could continue to call them as her own. After all, Bark and Torn had shared her dark pelt.
But Fresh and Thistle did not, perhaps everyone would just not care like they usually did. He sighed softly.

[Longstorm]

Inside of the den, Searingeyes and Scourge knew about Despairingcall and Switchblade.

[Runfast]

Scourge appeared from his den. His icy blue eyes seemed to glow in their black fur surrounded sockets. "Despairingcall - Switchblade - what news have you brought?"

[Guest]

Despairingcall dipped his head respectfully to his nephew. "My King," he meowed, "Half of the forester Clan, DewClan are in our territory. They are attempting to climb up our hills, but they are finding our lands to be unyielding. Nevertheless, Daystar is leading them along with his deputy. My spies also report that the survivors of TawnyClan and five cats of DarkClan have met at the Bloodstones and appear to be attempting to regroup. TawnyClan has lost its leader to the fires along with four others. The rest of DewClan, back in their territory, appear to be preparing to leave, most likely for the Bloodstones." He paused. "On a side note, a small brown tom has been seen in one of the distant lands and has been pursued by a wolf. I only bring this up since in the past he's been seen many times with the DewClan she-cat in our camp. It may be valuable information to her."
His dark tail twitched and he glanced curiously over Scourge's shoulder hoping to see Searingeyes. Despairingcall had heard the brief scuffle. How could he not have? Searingeyes' yowl had been loud enough to wake the dead.
Despairingcall looked back at the King. "What is your command?"

[Loki]

Fresh backed away, head instinctively low. He didn't want to appear to be intruding on this information. Which seemed important. So the prisoner has a friend and he's being pursued by a wolf!... whats a wolf and what does pursued mean? His odd eyes looked up in thought.
There are intruders too! Oh, what will our king reply to that? Attack? Wait till dark to attack while they are unsuspecting? Or maybe let them come and use them as a meat shield whilst these other intruders attack!
Possibilities were bouncing around in his mind. His tiny claws were testing the rock bellow paw as he held on to his lungful of breathe.

Switchblade waited for his King's reply. He supposed though that those cats wouldn't even make it up the hill alive. The tom's head ducked respectfully all the same.

[Runfast]

Scourge looked thoughtful. "Which direction are these DewClanners coming from," he asked. His icy gaze flickered past the cats and up to the dark skies before coming back to Despairingcall. The worst rainy seasons made some parts of their territory a deathtrap. Why risk cats to fight an enemy when their home sometimes their lands seemed to embody the very spirit of treachery?

[Loki]

Switchblade studied the kings face in silence, he'd changed somehow. Sinface... who used to be so laid back and collected had become such a formidable king. Though he couldn't help but wonder whether his father shouldn't be in that position. Of course he kept those blasphemous thoughts to himself, they were... nothing worth acting upon. Were they?

He shunned away the idea, they were something bigger, or he was close to it. Though all he cared for was the pleasure he got from pleasing the one beside him. Since back to his mothers demise has he been over looked. He'd had enough... Even Snarlgag didn't care for his presence. Just another piece of meat to be carved at. listen to yourself Switch, get back into the present.
His amber eyes focused back onto his black paws.

[Guest]

Despairingcall's eyes glimmered knowingly. "From the South, my King, from their marshes." He eyes flickered again into the King's den. He wished he could see Searingeyes, but the pale brown tom had yet to show himself.

[Runfast]

Despairingcall's flickering gaze did not go unnoticed by Scourge, but he currently so no reason to bring it up. He probably heard Searingeyes - who didn't, I wonder? He also noticed Switchblade looking at him. Scourge met his gaze.
The King was pleased to hear that Daystar was approaching from the south. After moment's review of that part of their territory, still holding Switchblade's gaze, the King meowed, "Watch them, you two, with another. While I know our territory will wreak its own havoc on these intruders, if needed, we must be present to ensure an...unfortunate accident," he smiled slowly at the wording, "occurs." His gaze hardened. "DewClan's impudence will be punished. Daystar will not leave our territory alive." He flicked his tail. "Go." Scourge was still looking at Switchblade (OOC: LIKE A CREEPER ) Killing my father, ordering my uncle and cousin around, defying my nameless ancestor... family is something else.

[Loki]

Switchblade held the gaze with his king and was the first to turn on his order, pausing only slightly to wait for his father. The king was still his cousin either way, he couldn't ever raise a claw to him, even if he felt his loyalties leaned to his closest family.

Despairingcall nodded and turned with Switchblade. He quickly scanned the camp for someone to bring with them. He saw Paleclaw looking around, but that cat had a mission. He saw the new tom-kits, but he decided against bringing them with.
Most of everyone was working on preparations for moving the camp.
Then he spotted Luckless. That she-cat had been showing a few violent tendencies. Why not bring her along?
"Luckless," he called to the dark gray she-cat.

[Meany]

OOC: I'm not sure if it's Luckless or Charmless who's out with Snarlgag and Razorclaw

IC: The she-cat looked at the Powerful and Switchblade, surprised. She quickly padded up to the two. "Yes?"

[Meany]

OOC: I FIGURED IT OUT. LUCKLESS IS WITH SNARLGAG AND RAZORCLAW.

IC: Charmless padded up to the two toms, surprised to have been called. What can I do?

[Longstorm]

OOC: Well done, lol.

IC: Hopeless, really doing nothing, saw the younger Servant being summoned by the Powerful. Taking interest, and feeling some resentment at being ignored, she padded up to Despairingcall faster than Charmless.
"How can I help," she purred in a sickly-sweet tone.

[Guest]

Despairingcall looked at the dark gray she-cat with cool disregard. "Hopeless," he stated. "I did not call on you."
He looked at Charmless and remembered the events which had lead to the younger she-cat losing half of her face - it had been a gruesome affair indeed. "Charmless," he said to the she-cat in a similar, disinterested tone. "You will come with us," he flicked his tail at his son, "to monitor intruders in the south." He slowly looked back at Hopeless with piercing gold eyes. "You may follow - if you can hold to your loyalties," his cold tone was heated ever so slightly with a thinly veiled insult-slash-threat.

[Longstorm]

Hopeless resisted bristled, though her amber eyes narrowed slightly at the insult and threat. I may follow? She ducked her head all the same, deferring to the Powerful's higher rank. I hope Loveless's brother makes it so she-cats have more authority than tom Powerfuls. Or even better - make she-cats Powerfuls instead! She wondered what it would be like to hold such power in her heart.
"I will do my best," she said in the same tone as before.

[Meany]

The pale tabby she-cat looked from Hopeless to Despairingcall. She felt honored to have been called upon by the Powerful, despite everything that had happened, what with the Servants overthrowing the Warriors and all. She supposed that, in the end, the Powerfuls would always be powerful.
Charmless dipped her head in respect. "I am honored," she meowed.

[Guest]

Despairingcall said nothing, only flicking his tail in acknowledgement to Charmless. He turned back to Switchblade.
"Let's go watch the Dew-cats," he said with a hint of humor in his dark voice (OOC: whatever that means.).
The Powerful turned and briskly padded to the exit of the camp.

[Runfast]

Scourge watched his uncle go. He kept watching.

[Longstorm]

From the dark of the King's den, Searingeyes was peering out as well. Watching.

Charmless quickly followed the Powerful, not wanting to be left behind at all.
