The Questers, Mudblood, and MoonClan, and Others, Explained
EDIT - In short:
Before AbyssClan came to the forest, there was Moonclan, Dewclan, Tawnyclan and Darkclan.
AbyssClan came and chased away MoonClan to take their territory.
Thirty years later, AbyssClan cast out one of their own, a tom named Falsecall.
Falsecall was angered enough for him to start up a massive army called MudbloodClan.
MudbloodClan settled in the red hills which is behind DewClan territory.
Daystar, leader of Dewclan got into an allegiance with MudbloodClan.
Meanwhile, a secret prophecy was sent out for to many cats of all Clan (cats called The Questers) to bring back MoonClan since they are somehow supposed to be able to prevent some horrible event.
If you want some insane detail and backstory, look below.

The Prophecy:
Across the mountains of darkness lies the fallen moon.
Return it to it's home to save all that you hold true.
Unite or die, was the command long ago. But deny this unity and all will fall to the unknown
Above, Below, Stars and Darkness, Field of Unending;
Beware of the traitors, and those made of surrendering.
Bring no more than the perfect unity, or the Koud Grondgebied will be found burning.
Find the stone in it's shattered parts There you'll find those that share the same heart.
Heed our words, or die. Tell not a soul, or perish. Leave. Now.
The Forest Fires:
On the night of the Bloodmoon, shortly after the Gathering, MudBloodClan, a Clan many times larger than all of the Clans combined, attacked the Forest Clans.
With burning sticks in their jaws, they managed to drive TawnyClan, SearClan, and CoreClan from their territories, burning their homes to the ground.
Now, TawnyClan is left wandering in AbyssClan's lowlands and SearClan and CoreClan have formed an alliance with RoseClan.
In DewClan, Daystar had formed an alliance with MudBlood.
In DarkClan, they fought back against MudBlood.
In AbyssClan, they ignored the efforts driven by a Warrior they had long since cast out.

Twenty-some cats received a prophecy some two months ago. They were from every Clan (barring RoseClan, CoreClan, and SearClan, as they were the only Pseudos at the time), of every religion, every upbringing.
They all eventually met near the AbyssClan border, after the Clan Cats came to the conclusion that the dream did not mean the Moonfall, but instead was a reference to an old legend a DewClan she-cat's mother once told her about AbyssClan.
Upon teaming up, the mass of cats headed towards the 'mountains of darkness' (DarkClan's mountains) and preceded to make the treacherous journey - with kits, elders, and expecting queens, no less!
Some time later, now, the great group has been split into four. One group has discovered that the fallen moon actually meant MoonClan, the lost Clan. They are now attempting to return them to the main territories.
Another group has found solace in hiding in DarkClan's territory - they are unknowingly protecting the future of DewClan in the form of kits.
Another group has discovered a future threat to the Clan - The Dwellers.
The final group is hiding in the Frost Forests, unknowingly sheltering the future of the Clans (many kits) and quarantining the Clans from their sickness. The Clans cannot afford to be sick now.
Now, the battle again Mudblood only days away, we can only pray for the return of our Questers.

- Spoiler:
MudBloodClan is a pseudo-Clan that has been around for about two years. Their way of life involves using queens only as brood-mares, and kits seen only as future warriors.
They live in the Red Hills, a territory just South-East of AbyssClan territory. MudbloodClan's location is no coincidence.
The leader of MudBloodClan is a tom named Falsecall. He is a white tom with few black markings who originates from AbyssClan.
You read that right. He is a former AbyssClan Warrior (AbyssClan uses the term differently from the Clans).
The story behind Falsecall's departure is tragically simple: He blatantly violated the AbyssClan Code. Much like the original Warrior Code, it is a top offense to attempt to harm a kit.
Falsecall attempted to murder a she-kit (who has now grown into the confident she-cat Joy). Shadowstar, the current Leader/King of the time, saw it fit to spare the Warrior's life instead of the traditional sacrifice to their ancestors Those Above.
It is unknown why Shadowstar chose to do this, but Falsecall left AbyssClan territory with the song of revenge in his heart. He found the Red Hills, a granite field with little plant-life, then found what would become the Blood Cave. There, his planning began.
Falsecall went out to the City, weaving tales of glorious battle and rich territories as reward. Naturally, the ragged cats of the darker part of the City flocked to him, not knowing what he really meant.
Yes, battle would come; but not without preparation.
For years Falsecall selectively paired up toms and she-cats to breed his army.
Weaker cats were forced into manual labor while the stronger cats were trained in the battle-ways of AbyssClan - and AbyssClan is known for their amalgam of battle techniques.
At the heart of his growing forces, he found cats with 'abilities', those who could see so far that they could see the future, the hearts of their own Warriors, and the very ancestors that roamed the skies.
These cats became Falsecall's very own Powerfuls, not unlike the Powerfuls that inhabit AbyssClan (read about The Powerfuls).
With his army already exceeding the amount of cats of all the Clans combined, Falsecall sent one of his platoons (lead by a general - he has so many cats he needs to split them up into platoons and generals) to a Gathering, formally introducing themselves.
The Clans were naturally put off by these cats. How could they have not noticed such a large force growing in the South?
Knowing that the Clans would fight for every pawprint of territory, cats of Mudblood snaked out into the territories to make allies of the Clans.
DewClan accepted. None others would.
A few short months later, a prophecy beating in their hearts "When fast lighting strikes...", Mudblood made their attacks on the night of a Gathering.
Wielding fire, platoons of MudbloodClanners set ablaze the territories of TawnyClan, SearClan, and CoreClan. The damage is great, and all of these Clans have fled their territories.
Mudblood attempted to burn DarkClan, but the DarkClan Gathering Patrol was nearby, and they put up one hell of a fight (check it out).
Oh, rest assured, TawnyClan put up a fight as well, but were still driven from their territory, a leader and many warriors short.
Falsecall still thinks of the final battle against AbyssClan is mere nights away, and he relishes the thought of sinking his claws into Shadowstar's little black throat and claiming the AbyssClan throne as his own.
Shadowstar died two weeks ago.

- Spoiler:
Backstory.
About a year ago the current leader of DarkClan was a gray tom named Thornstar. In his youth he was a fine leader of DarkClan, ruling as any naturally paranoid cat of DarkClan could.
In his later years his mind wasn't as clear. He saw enemies where he should have seen friends. Only his eldest daughter, Robinsong, was a friend to him.
Together, they conspired to take over the other Clans. But how would they do this? Oh, AbyssClan, naturally. Shadowstar lead a band of mighty Warriors, a force so strong that no one dared cross the AbyssClan Border and kits cried the first time they heard a tale of AbyssClan's might.
So how would they reach Shadowstar?
Easy. Get his attention the hard way.
Bundled down with the tiny body of a green-cough dead kit, Robinsong entered the territory of AbyssClan.
Fearing the devastating sickness, the Warriors of AbyssClan lead the crazed yet beautiful she-cat as close to the AbyssClan camp as anyone had in nineteen years.
Shadowstar didn't think very much of the ancestry of the she-cat before him, but he listened.
He sent her away alive (a trend with him), planning to ignore DarkClan's request... but Shadowstar got sick.
Very sick. It stole away many of his already-stolen lives, leaving the small tom crippled in the face of a blood-thirsty Clan.
With the taste of revenge coating his tongue, Shadowstar began to meet with Thornstar in secret as often as he could.
Thornstar was thrilled that the legendary Shadowstar, he who rarely appeared at Gatherings, was meeting with him. "We will rule the forest," he would shout with glee to the black tom.
While Thornstar was going insane, he was still intelligent enough to know that Shadowstar wasn't very happy with him. To counter this, Thornstar sent Robinsong out into the Mountains of Indigo to find allies out that way, allies who would ensure the death of Shadowstar after Thornstar took over the forest.
Behind all of this madness, Redfall, deputy to Thornstar, saw that his beloved leader was losing his grip on reality. He was leading the Clan into unneeded battles and getting apprentices killed.
But the Clan was still very loyal to Thornstar. Very few cats would listen to the young deputy's accusations.
Robinsong slowly turned the Clan against Redfall until his only friends were a pawful of kits, his closest kithood friends, a few apprentices (including the medicine cat apprentice), and his sister, Blueblossom.
He gathered them to him and told them "We have to go."
All but Blueblossom left - Blueblossom was Thornstar's mate, and she loved him very much. She couldn't just leave him to stew with his daughter (Robinsong and her brother, Jaycall, were not Blueblossom's kits, but a she-cat's who'd been named Patchfur, who died.) Blueblossom allowed her brother to take her three kits with them, as she didn't want Goldkit/paw, Silverkit/paw, and Bronzekit/paw to grow up in a Clan lead by Thornstar.
The newly formed Rebellion traveled South-East, going outside of their territory but staying in the mountains they knew so well. They found themselves in the Frost Forests, a forever-frozen territory which only real protection against the pelting snow is a weeping willow encased in ice (called the Ice-Shell Willow).
During the time they spent there, they were joined by new-born kits (by queen Skylight; she left her mate behind for her best friend - she also fancied Redfall, and queen Graystorm; her mate died by Thornstar's foolish orders.), a rogue tom who would become Icepaw, Redfall's apprentice, Blackpaw (who left his brother behind for the love of his life, Blueblossom) and Blueblossom.
The DarkClan Rebellion trained hard, the warriors becoming more and more skilled, knowing that a battle would eventually come to them.
But were they doing the right thing? Following the deputy, breaking the Warrior Code (*The word of the Clan Leader is law*)?
It was obvious they needed motivation.
Mistpaw, medicine cat apprentice, approached Redfall and told him it was time for him to become a Clan Leader.
Redfall protested, saying that Thornstar wasn't dead. Mistpaw wasn't having it.
In secret, the two left the Ice-Shell Willow and made the long, dangerous journey past DarkClan and through DewClan territory to the Moonfall.
There, the two slept and entered the realm of their ancestors. (check it out - it's way cool!)
There Mistpaw became Mistlight, full medicine cat, and Redfall became Redstar, leader of DarkClan.
Yes, Thornstar was still alive, so there was a catch to the red tom gaining lives and the support of StarClan; he only received 7 lives. Thornstar still had two, so StarClan has to make up the difference.
Redstar knew this, but he also knew that his Clan needed him. He accepted the difference.
When the two newly named cats returned to the Ice-Shell Willow, Redstar made kits into apprentices and apprentices, who ceremonies were long overdue, into warriors.
Back in DarkClan, Thornstar's sickness grew worse and worse. Robinsong had returned with news of a force brewing in the South and that they had pledged themselves to DarkClan. In return, Thornstar promised them shared territory.
He actually met these cats and was impressed by their numbers and traditions. One of their traditions included cannibalism, under the belief that if you ate your enemy's flesh, you would gain their strength. Thornstar quickly adopted this ritual; unbeknownst to him, it quickened his sickness.
The time for Thornstar and Shadowstar to release their dastardly plot was drawing nigh. They met more often and Thornstar was absent from nearly all Clan activities.
Back in the Frost Forests, the Rebellion were oblivious to the full extent of the problems back home. They had their own problems to worry about.
Following an attack from strange foxes, four, including the medicine cat, of the Rebellion vanished into the night without a trace. The Rebellion had never felt lower. The new leader needed to do something, regardless that one of the missing cats was his own apprentice.
Redstar decided that the time to return to DarkClan was now. He left Blueblossom behind with the youngest kits.
He lead his Rebellion back into DarkClan territory, all the way to the camp.
In the camp, Thornstar's plot became obvious. He introduced his Clan to a few key members of their allies. Naturally, the Clan wasn't too happy like Robinsong and Thornstar were. The Clan was especially dismayed when they found out Thornstar had promised them a good portion of their mountains.
It all came down to a battle of wills; at least, until the DarkClan Rebellion showed up.
Thornstar gave the order to attack. Those who had remained in DarkClan before hesitantly turned on their former Clanmates of the Rebellion, the Cat-Eaters joining in.
It seemed the battle would be won by the Rebellion. Thornstar wasn't having that.
The crazed tom's full plot came to light when he called a band over three hundred strong from the mountainsides.
It was now that the leader of this force, Jade, revealed her own plot, and she turned her forces against DarkClan. She slashed Thornstar's throat, taking his 8th life, then turned on Redstar.
During all of this, DarkClan and Rebellion became one Clan again, standing side by side, beating back a force which, they soon found out, only strength was its numbers. These were thin, sickly cats who were in it for the food.
As it seemed Jade would take Redstar's first life, Thornstar rose behind her, slashed her face, and bit her throat. Even as he killed her, she in turn mortally wounded him.
Jade fell; Thornstar fell. The gray leader of DarkClan called for his faithful medicine cat, Silverfur. Unknown to Thornstar, Silverfur had only hours before died of old age, greeted by his long-lost friends as he breathed his last breath.
It is unknown what happened to Thornstar after his eyes closed for the last time. It is said he has yet to be seen in the territories of StarClan. But then, there are many who are still remembered in those places. Perhaps it will just take some time?
Many cats of the Force fled, but those who remained were subdued. Redstar had it in his mind to kill these traitors, but showed them mercy, having them escorted from the territories of DarkClan.
Now, reunited as a whole, DarkClan must face the threat of MudbloodClan. They can only pray to their ancestors that their shaky reunion will bloom into a loyalty that will span beyond the greatest battle the Cold Territories has ever seen.

- Spoiler:
- When Shadowstar, son of a long line of sons of Scourge, was King of AbyssClan and Lord of CityClan, he ruled AbyssClan the same way many of his fore-bearers had; she-cats were not allowed to become Warriors, but were instead forced to become Servants, both verbally and physically abused by the tom-only (excluding Cunningheart, a tank-like she-cat who earned her name and position for tricking her Master to his death) Warriors and Choosings (AbyssClan apprentices.) The role of healer in the Clan was looked down upon and cats with blue eyes feared for their lives (It was seen as a disease. Why? I don't know...)
As per usual, every so many moons AbyssClan Warriors would venture out into CityClan to gather new recruits - kits - for AbyssClan, as they had a low birthing rate. This was all a part of an agreement that the Sister-Clans made seasons upon seasons ago, so it was nothing new.
Amongst the new arrivals was a young she-cat who came to be called Joyless. Her beginnings in AbyssClan were exciting, from nearly being killed to being caught and returned by Searingeyes himself.
She soon was befriended by two Servants named Grace and Loveless. Joyless discovered that Loveless was the only tom Servant as he had a birth defect in the form of a shriveled left front leg.
Loveless told the young she-kit of the times back when Scourge ruled the Forests, a time of peace and unity amongst all cats in BloodClan. Perhaps Loveless sugarcoated a fair deal of the tale, and he (like so many others) was unaware of many deciding facts in the tale, but it was enough to convince a young and impressionable she-kit that things needed to change in AbyssClan.
Some moons later, after her first Gathering, Joyless received a vision from (who we presume to be) Those Above;
Blood is Blood
Shadows run red.
A vow is death
When death is led.
To this day, Joyless isn't certain what the entire prophecy means.
In the vision, she saw three cats attacking a cat of shadows. She relayed this to Loveless, and together they reasoned that Those Above didn't like the way Shadowstar was running things either. This was all the confirmation they needed, and they began to gather supporters throughout the Clan.
The Mender joined them, as well as all of the Servants and even a pawful of Warriors, including Loveless's Warrior brother, Sinface.
It was also hinted that the Powerfuls had heard the same prophecy before in many of their lives, and for some reason it saddened them to hear it again. All the same, they made no move to tell Shadowstar of the revolution forming right underneath the leader's nose.
Suddenly, Joyless, a Warrior named Scorchpoint, and two Choosings vanished into the night. Loveless was devastated to lose his main supporter in the Revolution, but he overcame his fears and drove the Revolution to become as strong as could be, organizing secret battle training sessions when the Servants were thought to be hunting. But it soon became apparent that not all of the Servants present were at ease with the idea of rebelling. A young she-cat named Colorless, completely devoted to Shadowstar and her Master, was planning to rat out the revolution before it happened.
Unbeknownst to the revolutionizers and the Powerfuls themselves, Shadowstar was quite aware of the treachery in his camp. He had been leader for eight years, after all.
In the night, Shadowstar told Sinface, Warrior brother to Servant Loveless, to follow him up to the top of the great hill AbyssClan lived on. There, Shadowstar told him many things.
In the tradition BloodClan Before, only the sons of Scourge may take up the mantle of King in AbyssClan. Shadowstar had no kits. Or so everyone thought...
Sinface didn't know what this had to do with him. He and his Servant brother were the sons of Woebringer, a calico tom who rode on the curtails of the bloodline of Brick. Sinface had earned his Warrior name through his blue eyes (looked down upon in his Clan since he did not share the bloodline of Scourge) and the harsh white scars that surrounded them, which had been given to him by Woebringer shortly after Sinface's birth.
Shadowstar kindly informed Sinface that he was not Woebringer's son, but his son. It should have been obvious; where else would have Sinface's black pelt and blue eyes have come from?
The news came as a somewhat mild surprise, but the implications behind the fact were staggering. This meant Sinface was heir to the throne. This meant his brother was Crown Prince. The fate of the line of BloodClan was in his paws, and he was a direct line to Scourge.
Shadowstar went on to tell his eldest son that Scourge was not the loving, caring ancestor that stories had made him out to be. In death Scourge had reverted to his old ways, using his descendants as puppets to live through.
Whenever the Prophecy of Blood (as it was called) was spoken in any generation, it meant that Those Above wanted the current leader to be removed in any way possible. This prophecy was always given out to the few cats who would take it as it was intended; The line is corrupt. End it.
It turns out that each and every leader murdered by this prophecy were those who disagreed with the ways of Scourge and wished to rule in peace. Many good leaders had been struck down by the bratty past King.
Shadowstar was tried of being his many greats grandfather's puppet. He wished to die.
He had brought Sinface to the top of the hill to tell him why it must be only Sinface who killed him, and no one else - yes, yes, he knew of the revolution, he would not interfere, it was the way of things.
Shadowstar only hoped that his son, through his life of hardship, would be able to withstand the influence of Scourge, and return AbyssClan to it's former glory as none other could.
Sinface agreed.
Back in the revolution, he Servants knew they had to move quickly; word had begun to leak out already to the remaining Choosings, and the Servants knew they needed the element of surprise on their side.
It seemed to be turning to the worst, if not for the arrival of a Servant who rarely appeared in the training sessions. Boneless, Servant to Bloodclaw the Mender. She told the revolution of a poison that, if administrated properly, would freeze a Warrior's heart in seconds.
The revolution lapped the idea up and set to work.
Colorless attempted to warn the Warriors in the camp of the devious plot, but Shadowstar ordered she be thrown into the prison for her lies.
That morning went on as usual; a pawful of cats left to do border patrol, the Servants went hunting.
The revolutionizers coated the fresh-kill with the poison given to them by Boneless, then fed the present Warriors of AbyssClan the poisoned fresh-kill. Never once thinking their subservient little Servants could ever raise a paw against them, the Warriors greedily ate the food - though, the two remaining Choosings left the camp, knowing of the plot but not wishing to attempt to stand against the many Servants, Mender, and Warriors on their own.
Not long after, the great Warriors of AbyssClan cried in pain and fell dead. After all of the carnage, Shadowstar himself emerged from his den. He wore aged ceremonial battle claws, passed down through the generations of Scourge, and he had scratched his face, using his own blood as war paint.
Sinface stepped forward. The two exchanged a few, brief words; then the battle began.
For all of it's ferocity and valor, the battle was short and to the point. Sinface struck down his father - his father thanked him, finally receiving rest after many grueling years under Scourge's claws.
Even as this happened, the Warriors from the border patrol and the Choosings returned. Sinface announced himself as Heir, and the Servants donned battle claws. The few remaining Warriors, some among them being a part of the revolution, bowed to the soon-to-be-King.
Meanwhile, far, far away, deep within the Mountains of Dusk, the Servant, Joyless and the Choosing, Cold, watched all of this unfold through mystical means.
They saw Sinface bathe in the blood of Shadowstar and fall into a trance. They saw the Bloodmoon rise into the sky, a declaration of Sinface's true blood. Above all, they saw him rise as King.

- Part 1: The Dreaming, and The Meeting
In the Clans TawnyClan, DewClan, DarkClan, AbyssClan, and CityClan, cats of all ages received a common prophecy (seen above). As said to them all, they were prohibited to tell any other about this dream until they found those "with a common heart."
In AbyssClan (the little stars of the Main Prophecy) the four cats who came from there understood the meaning of where to meet these other cats right away. They knew that the Powerfuls used fragments of a shattered blue stone to contact Those Above, as well as to spy on the other Clans. These fragments were held in a chamber deep within the tunnels that coursed throughout the whole of AbyssClan territory.
In CityClan, the three cats who came from there also knew the legends of the tunnels systems that ran underneath their sister-Clan's territory. They hesitantly passed into AbyssClan territory and into the dark tunnel systems.
In TawnyClan, the few that came from there thought of the MoonFall upon hearing so many mentions of the moon.
In DewClan, the cats from there headed to the MoonFall, thinking the same.
In DarkClan, it was not cats from the camp itself that received the prophecy - only one came from there - but instead it was cats from the Rebellion. These cats snuck out feeling horribly guilty, especially the new medicine cat Mistlight, but they headed to the MoonFall anyways.
Click this spoiler to learn about MoonClan
- Spoiler:
- Many years ago, MoonClan lived alongside the three other Clans in the Cold Territories. Like the other Clans, MoonClan had been named after one of the four joint leaders of the Unified Clan - Moonstar, a small white tom with thick fur.
Like Moonstar, the whole of MoonClan consisted of small cats with pale fur. In the old days, MoonClan lived atop of the tall hill to the South, near the City.
MoonClan was known for being the most spritually connected Clan out of all of the Clans, receiving the more detailed prophecies and looking within themselves for the answers to the secrets of life. They were generally a peaceful Clan, seeking to create peace amongst the other Clans, never heistiating to lend a helping paw. They were the glue that sealed the four Clans together.
But one night, all of that changed.
From the City, a group of large-clawed cats stalked on MoonClan's territory. They were drawn to the shadowy pines and sweet-smelling berry bushes, reveling at how different the soft pine needles felt compared to harsh asphalt. The leader of this group was a black tom with blue eyes. MoonClan never learned his name.
When these cats drew closer to MoonClan's camp, Yellowstar, the current leader, along with his deputy, medicine cat, and a few warriors, walked out to meet these cats.
Yellowstar greeted them kindly, seeing that these were ragged, poor creatures, and offered to help these cats.
But the ice-eyed leader of these cats only sneered. With a flick of his tail, the cats with his attacked Yellowstar and those with him. The warriors fell quickly, then the deputy, then the medicine cat.
The ice-eyed leader stood over a shocked Yellowstar in triumph, then ripped his throat out.
With Yellowstar dead, the ice-eyed tom and his cats easily drove the remaining cats of MoonClan from their very nests, swearing to murder the kits still inside of their mother's bellies if any cat dared to oppose them.
MoonClan, having never been attacked in their own home before, known for having the best defendable territory around, surrendered.
The night still young, MoonClan fled across the grassy plains between the territories to reach the Moonfall and plea to StarClan for help, for strength to overcome these enemies. But when Cirrusclaw, the most senior warrior of the Clan, saw his ancestors, they only shook their shaggy heads, mumuring that MoonClan was utterly defeated.
They gave him the rank of leader - but even as he was given his nine lives, the ancestors of MoonClan faded from the ranks of StarClan, whispering that the Moon rises alone, so it must be alone.
Cirrusstar told this to his Clan, silently angered that his ancestors would give in so easily. The tom lead his Clan away from the other territories and through the sacred burial grounds of DarkClan and TawnyClan, eyes set towards the white mountains that were just smudges in the distance, from where the Moon was seen rising.
It wasn't until seasons later that MoonClan reached what is now known as the Barren Lands, with it's poisoned forests and malicious Foxians and the enigmatic Rat Kingdom. The small thick-pelted cats turned to the skies, seeking a home as close to the moon as possible.
When they had, they discovered that they were not the only cats there; they discovered two Tribes - the Tribe of Raining Dust and the Tribe of Burning Streams.
For seasons upon seasons the three groups lived as neighbors, occasionally meeting to share news. MoonClan never truly surrendered the ways of the Clans, even if their own warrior ancestors were no longer affiliated with StarClan. Now the ancestors of MoonClan were called Sky-Moon, for the moon for whiched they were heralded.
It seemed that MoonClan was destined to live in the lonely mountains forever; hunting their prey by burying themselves in snow; contacting Sky-Moon by nearly freezing to death atop a flat rock; never daring to raise their voices in fear of an avanlanche...until one night...
On a night much like when MoonClan was driven from their homes, a group of strange cats appeared at the Clan/Tribes Gathering. Their accents were strange and though they were a single group, they didn't all seem to trust each other.
They spoke of a prophecy that had lead them there, and that said MoonClan had to be lead home or all would be lost. Stormstar, the current leader of MoonClan, identified the sender of the prophecy as Sky-Moon themselves, and said that he would speak to his Clan.
MoonClan lead the strangers up their treacherous paths and into their secluded camp. There Stormstar spoke to his Clan.
There was some debate between warriors, but Stormstar's word was final; They were going to leave.
With some encouraging words from a respected young warrior, the Clan departed from their territory that very night.
Now they have placed their lives in the paws of cats that they believe they can trust; but will the devasting avalanche they encountered, the treacherous words of a passenger the Questers picked up, and the spies among the Forest Clanners destroy the unity Sky-Moon said would be needed to save them all?
Click this spoiler to learn about The Dwellers
- Spoiler:
- Little is known on the group of cats known at The Dwellers.
What we do know is that The Dwellers live deep within the Mountains of Dusk in a bright pine forest where many natural predators roam.
What is also known is that The Dwellers consist of cats who share many characteristics; flat paws, large ears, long, thin tails, and skinny bodies. It is thought that The Dwellers have existed for some time, but where they hail from is unknown.
It is thought that The Dwellers, while they do not have a connection with StarClan, worship a long-past she-cat they refer to as 'Goddess.' Whoever this Goddess is, it is confirmed that whatever The Dwellers think she's teaching them is not in the best interest of the Forest Clans.
A she-cat named Sassypelt, thought to be a long-forgotten ex-apprentice of DarkClan, traveling with the Questers, shares the beliefs of The Dwellers. She is constantly praying to The Goddess, asking for wisdom and singing praises, proclaiming that she will tear them apart in her name.
As mentioned in the Prophecy of the Moon, "But deny this unity and all will fall into the unknown..."
The final thing we know is that one of the divided groups from the Questers is with The Dwellers - Scorchpoint, Dark, Bluepaw, and Commons.
