CLOSED MoonClan Meeting
Sunclaw's mind was alive with sparking thoughts. There they were and then they weren't, her consciousness trying to come to a conclusion that continued to elude her.
The cats of the other Clan continued to confuse her.
Sassypelt spoke of the Clan cats wishing the cats of MoonClan ill. She said that they had her sister somewhere hidden away to ensure her silence. Windface and Stormstar had died. There had been an avalanche. Stormstar had had faith in these strangers. In barely an evening Stormstar had gathered the entire Clan and they had abandoned their home. Stormstar had welcomed the strangers into their home like he had done with no other strangers. Stormstar didn't question them.
But he had, to an extent, Sunclaw recalled. After weighing their story in his mind, Sunclaw had seen, Stormstar had called upon the Clan to ponder the dream with him. A dream sent by Sky-Moon? A dream that called them "back" to a territory that had passed into legend, a territory legend said their ancestors had fled because of some great enemy, and now they were simply going back because of Clans that apparently needed MoonClan's help or they could not survive? Were they selfish? Stormstar had listened intently to Blackfire, as had the rest of the Clan, and Stormstar had sprung on them the fact that he would go with the other-Clanners.
"And while you may think we have been hasty in our reasoning, we have many reasons to leave, some you know and some you don't," is what Stormstar had said to Burnsky when she had shown up in the camp.
The she-cat sighed heavily, shaking her head.
Stormstar had trusted these cats. Sunclaw hadn't. Now she really didn't trust them. But why? What proof was there that they actually wanted to hurt them? Now that the horrific avalanche was even further behind her now and that she was with her Clan again, she found that her thoughts were clearer. Whether or not the other-Clanners were bad, she wasn't sure. But here's what she did know:
She wanted the cats of the other Clans to be the bad guys. There. She had admitted it to herself.
Now she wanted to speak to her Clan. They had been home in the frigid, crisp, and clean mountains only a couple of days ago, and now they were in this muggy, warm, filthy place. It was taking its toll on everyone.
So everyone's voice would now be heard, as was the way of MoonClan.
Sunclaw wanted everyone's thoughts. Then, she intended to send out patrols and call a meeting of her senior warriors. And the fate of MoonClan would be decided.
OOC: Everyone can post, but I'll edit her inner monologue later.

Re: CLOSED MoonClan Meeting
Raineyes and Goldenlight showed up, very interested in hearing what would be said in the meeting.
Raineyes was glad to be with his mate and kits once more, and hoped that now that he had been blessed with these miracles, more blessings would come soon.
The two looked up at Sunclaw on her box, and she looked down back at them.

Whitelight trailed after her sister and sister's mate.
Cloudscar followed as well, ready to have a meeting.

The mentor mentioned practically ran to the meeting, weaving around other cats to stand nearest to the box Sunclaw was standing upon. Raypaw, his apprentice, could not help but dash away from her family and stand next to her mentor. The tall tom nodded his approval to the she-cat, and she glowed at the praise.
Otterpool daintily made her way over to the growing group, neatly taking a seat at the edge of the crowd, but close to Sunclaw.
Barkfur loped over to the group and sat near Talltree, eyes wide and expectant at Sunclaw.

...and possibly the nosiest cat of the clans pretended to dose, perched up against some hollow black cylinders (bins) nearby. If anyone was good at pretending to be fast asleep then she would be a good contender.
She was on her back, fore arms stretched out as if reaching for a poor mouse.
She breathed softly as one does when asleep and her ears were ready for information inflow.

OOC: HAHAHAHAHA
Sung to the tune of"Take Me Out to the Ballgame."
"Take me out to Distant Lands, then to Deepest Valley... Then I'll head out to the Air Strip, which is on the outskirts of the Village of Bree. We root, root, root for the Questers - if they don't fly home that's a shame! Because the - Mud - bloods will kill everyone! And that's our game!"
IC: The medicine cat glanced up at Sunclaw then back at the winged contraption then to the other-Clan cats then to the opening in the wall.
Oh, the sun, the distant mountains, home so far away, she half felt half though longingly. She wondered where their missing Clanmates were, if they were alright and unwounded, or if they were lost out there somewhere, needing her to help them. Sky-Moon, please bring them to us, she prayed earnestly.
"Will we pray," the apprentice asked the tallest MoonClan warrior curiously. The tallest MoonClan warrior nodded solemnly.
His apprentice's eyes widened, and she bowed her head as though they were about to start then and there.
"Not yet," he chuckled, flicking the side of her head lightly.
"Oh," the apprentice coughed, embarrassed.
And they all waited.

Re: CLOSED MoonClan Meeting
OOC: I want to make a recording of that now.
IC: Beampaw trailed after Otterpool, though she lingered close to her parents with who she had just been reunited with. She was a little disappointed that her sister, the tallest MoonClan warrior's apprentice, had gone with her mentor instead of their family.
Leafheart followed close behind, figuratively dying to hear what Sunclaw had to say to MoonClan.
Discreetly, Sassypelt crept up along the side of the wall towards the MoonClan meeting. She had to hear this, she just had to! Her Goddess willed her onward, sparking at her feet and *nipping at her hindquarters.
Sassypelt winced and paused when one of the twigs in her thick, matted fur lightly scraped the metallic wall with a soft 'shhrik!'
My Goddess wills me to stop, I stop, she thought reverently.
Sassypelt stopped and waited, hoping that the boxes and the plastic-crinkle things from earlier would be enough to conceal her from the MoonClan crowd.
OOC: *Basically, her Goddess is biting her ass... *dies laughing*

Re: CLOSED MoonClan Meeting
Otterpool looked at Sunclaw with curiosity. What would she say?
Raypaw and Talltree were also eager to hear the deputy's words.
OOC: What's up with MoonClan, anyways? We're saying they're different from the Clans - how different?

Re: CLOSED MoonClan Meeting
Swiftpaw trotted over to where the meeting was being held, and sat on the ground, looking up at his mentor. He thought Sunclaw had done a great job with leading the Clan since Stormstar had died, and Swiftpaw respected the deputy. He enjoyed the spirit of adventure that had come with leaving their old camp, but he couldn't help but wish the journey had been safer, or, better yet, that they were all still safe in the old camp. He waited to see what the Clan would decide. His opinion obviously didn't weigh the greatest, and he wanted to prove himself by being supportive of any decision the Clan made.

Re: CLOSED MoonClan Meeting
Whitefoot cocked her head in wonder of what Sunclaw is going to say has she made her way over to she is going to sit by the box. Bumping into Otterpool and Talltree and a few other cats. Muttering a sorry to those cats. She quickly made the rest of the way to her seat and stared at Sunclaw like she was going to eat her. Man I must look weird to all the others, with that she actually started to blink. There thats better, she thought. I wonder if she going to say something about the other-claners? She thought with a scowl on her kitty face.

Re: CLOSED MoonClan Meeting
Sunclaw looked at each of her Clanmates faces while thinking of absent friends.
"Cats of MoonClan, I have called this meeting so that we may all speak of recent events that have affected us and what we will do next. We have left our ancestral home, under the guide of Stormstar. We have lost friends and have witnessed Stormstar's death..." She paused. "Though the sun still hangs low in the sky, let us remember Stormstar." Sunclaw looked out the open door of the hangar out at the broad sky backed by sheer cliffs and tall mountains. Her amber eyes glazed with emotion and she exhaled softly through her nose.
Raineyes slowly closed his eyes and thought about Stormstar.
Goldenlight got a far-away look in her eyes.
Sunclaw looked down at her Clanmates again, the emotion in her eyes vanishing. (OOC: She is a robot.)
"Who wants to be heard?"
OOC: Where is my muse? And I feel I am abusing the comma in this post... and I ran out of ideas I have been gone too long THIS IS A RUN-ON SENTENCE!!!
I feel better.

Joy effectively rolled her eyes behind their lids. Oh come now, I'm sure Abbysclan wouldn't lose a night's sleep should Shadowstar die.
Still... she held her breathe in the tom's respect.
OOC: cos' Joy wouldn't know about the goings on in Abyss now would she?

Re: CLOSED MoonClan Meeting
Whitefoot looked around expecting someone to get up abruptly to be heard. Doesn't anyone want to be heard by Sunclaw? She shook head mentally, of course they want to be heard by Sunclaw.... Right? She asked herself with a weird look on her face. Whitefoot took herself out her trance and focused on her soon-to-be-leader, waiting for an answer. Fine then I'll be heard, and then Whitefoot cleared her throat, got up, stood taller and said "I'll be heard ,Sunclaw.''

Re: CLOSED MoonClan Meeting
OOC: come now, their must be something hmm? I feel like crap, I have a cold and am bunged up... who wants a hug.
IC:
I have something to say, Joy, barely containing her laughter at this meeting, rolled over to her other side in her 'sleep'. Oh this is simply just the most hilarious meeting ever! These cats are so dramatically serious!
She listened as a cat stepped forward and debated rolling back over to sneak a peak at them though she thought that it'd be a little risky.
Though she had lost all humour, suddenly feeling moody. Clan meetings... she couldn't remember many but they were always serious and she wasn't allowed to be any part of it either. Not for long, she thought scathingly, I promise Eyeless, Luckless, Hopeless, charmless, Dauntless... Loveless. I'll be back and when I do my claws will rinse out those pitiless warriors.
Her thoughts whirled again... back to her kits. I want to see them now.

Re: CLOSED MoonClan Meeting
OOC: Hey, Loki, didn't Joy see a flash of what was happening in AbyssClan with Cold's stone of magicalness?
A flash of Sinface winning, the Servants standing victorious - not a whole lot, but something, right? (too lazy to look...) (Hi. )
IC: Beampaw glanced over at Whitefoot. I wish she'd just speak her mind, she thought a tad impatiently. Things were happening quickly but not at all at the same time, and she just wished that something, something more would happen...*
Beampaw sighed soundlessly and glanced at her sister, and was once again struck with how thrilled she was to be reunited with her littermate.
OOC: *I know exactly how this feels now. My fam is a bit stuck in limbo until certain things happen.

Re: CLOSED MoonClan Meeting
Whitelight looked over at Whitefoot, waiting for the young warrior to speak up finally.
Cloudscar suppressed a tired and inpatient sigh. We should just get back to her, he thought. He wanted to speak, too, but he had to wait until it was his turn - and that would hopefully be whenever Whitefoot either spoke, backed down, or was passed over by popular vote or Sunclaw herself.
OOC: Is what I said okay? I mean, it makes MoonClan kinda different, right?

Re: CLOSED MoonClan Meeting
Joy resisted the urge to jump up and tell the young cat to hurry up and talk... but suppressed the urge... just barely.
Sinewpaw was still sulking.
OOC: I've come to the conclusion that I don't know anything when it comes to my own cats. I can't remember what happened yesterday for that fact. Anyway I'm going to have a look, if not decide whether I delete the latter idea. I like the theory that she wouldn't know.. imagine how devastating all that will be?

Re: CLOSED MoonClan Meeting
Finished with waiting for Whitefoot's response (perhaps the she-cat was tired or had lost her thought, but Sunclaw did not feel very patient), Sunclaw spoke briskly: "Who else will speak, if not Whitefoot?" The tabby looked at her Clanmates expectantly.

Cloudscar stood up tall. "I will, Sunclaw," he meowed. He paused respectfully then continued: "With Stormstar dead, will we still follow the cats from the other-Clans to their territories?" He wanted to cut right into the hanging issue. "And will it be soon? I, for one, feel that we should rest for a day and a night, if not more. Time to hunt, time to search for those still missing, time to gather our strength, Sunclaw."
Whitelight listened intently and murmured her agreement.

Re: CLOSED MoonClan Meeting
Sunclaw nodded thoughtfully. "What you say makes sense, Cloudscar," she said to him. "We do need time to find our strength, in body and in mind, in spirit and heart." She paused. "I am contemplating whether or not we will still follow the cats of the other-Clans to their lands," she said finally. "I know that it is what Stormstar intended for us to do, but we are at crossing-paths." Sunclaw flicked her tail, moving on to the next thought. "What is the thought of the other-Clanners?" She looked at Cloudscar first, since he was still the speaker.

Re: CLOSED MoonClan Meeting
The other clanners, Joy thought scathingly, would like you all to come along and finish this forsaken journey.
Joy couldn't help but feel a little worried and somewhat disappointed. If Moonclan didn't return home with them then all this would have been pointless. Even more so, she would have left her kits and Switch and come back with nothing. How would she explain that to Shadowstar? Cold couldn't....no wouldn't even talk, so he'd be as good as dead to.
"Oh, hey Shadowstar, sorry I've been gone a while... we failed in what we were supposed to do anyway so there is no point in explaining it."

Cloudscar thought for a moment. "I think we should speak with them more and discuss, as a Clan, what we learn from them. Right now I don't feel like I have a whole lot of information."
Whitelight nodded in agreement.
