Re: CLOSED Dust and dirt
Tigerfrost knew he was the stronger one of this battle - even if you've outdone your enemy by strength, never forget the battle may still be won by intelligence from the opposition - Cunningheart's voice rang in the Warrior's ears.
The AbyssClan tom rushed Whitehare as he rushed him. Before reaching the she-cat, his legs folded underneath him, and he turned like a snake in the grass and bit and clawed at the she-cat's chest.

Re: CLOSED Dust and dirt
Whithare let out a hiss of pain and shock at the tom's doing, I've never seen a cat do that before!
She turned into a defensive stance and glared angrily at her foe. She needed a plan, she was losing and she knew it, she somehow knew she was going to die like her mother but maybe not today? The white she-cat frowned and winced as droplets of blood fell from her newly received wounds and seeped into the soil beneath her small paws.
So far she'd realized that the tom was larger and stronger then her. She was smaller and faster. How could she use that to her advantage? No cat she'd met had ever outpaced her, even when stealing food from Tawnyclan did Tigerflame catch her, in fact, if it weren't for those pale eyes glaring back at her she'd have thought that this tom was Tigerflame.
She stood back and breathed steadily, looking around in desperation. Surrounded by trees and undergrowth... She mentally cursed herself, if she were to run... Where would she run to? She hadn't the slightest idea how to answer that. If she ran she'd lose him but not for long, he knew these territories better than her.
So this was it, there was no pride in flight so she must stand and fight, even if she was going to die for it. However she thought that a bit of wit wouldn't go amiss and decided the best way was to be stubborn in the face of death. She turned and bolted towards the tom, ears flat back and a ragged hiss racking through her body.

Re: CLOSED Dust and dirt
Tigerfrost flicked an ear as he saw the she-cat charge him again. Well, DewClan certainly teaches their cats admirable traits.
The Warrior stayed where he was, waiting for the she-cat to meet him. In close combat, or even lashing out a paw, he was certain he would win.

Re: CLOSED Dust and dirt
She charged head on and as she prepared to leap at the tom, she slipped and skidded swiftly into his legs...

OOC: Ditto.
IC: Tigerfrost's eyes narrowed when he saw what looked like an obvious blunder on the she-cat's part. With her so close to him, the tom reared up and, with a deft twist of his front paws, meant to bring down only his large paws on the she-cat's head, claws excluded.

Re: CLOSED Dust and dirt
With exhaustion overwhelming her she had little chance from the start. Whitehare gave up her self when the tom's weight went straight to her head and sighed as her gentle body became senseless, only her sides lifting with each steady intake of breathe. Her fate was now in the tom's claws.
Re: CLOSED Dust and dirt
Tigerfrost looked down at the she-cat's limp body and cocked his head. Wow, she must have been exhausted... If she's been in our forests before DewClan joined Mudblood - by the Above, that's almost a full moon.
The tom bared his teeth at the thought of a wayward DewClanner walking about in his territory. He felt like sinking his reinforced claws into the scrawny white she-cat's throat and rightfully and honestly kill a DewClan she-cat himself, and not have some blue-eyed Servant do the deed...but he couldn't. Tigerfrost had to bring her back.
Tigerfrost sighed heavily and threw the she-cat over his broad shoulders. "It's always she-cats, isn;t it," he grumbled, thinking back to the DewClan queen, the blue-eyed she-cat, Cunningheart, then to the dead white she-cat he'd seen on his very first day in AbyssClan, the day Cunningheart made him her Choosing.
Ah, those were the days, when all he needed to do to earn her - or anyone's - favor was to pull a tooth out of a dead cat's mouth...
The tom snarled a few longing, hateful words under his breath, and began the walk back to his camp.
