An Angel has Fallen

Gabriel padded in seeing a stream he padded towards it taking in the sights of the forest. Ignoring his dreadful past he bends down and enjoys a drink and stares at the cold unfeeling reflection he sees in the water wondering if this is how he would always be.

A lithe shadow flitted by the dark places of the flowing stream, not perceiving that there was a tom near it. Clear emerald eyes peered cautiously through the thick undergrowth from where it was hiding, and slowly, oh so slowly, padded out.
