Raven and Flight, two Council Members of CityClan, were leading a loner tom named Rain deep into the heart of CityClan territory.
The purpose behind taking this cat into CityClan (and Rain didn't know this yet) was because many of the Council Members had lost faith in their 'beloved' Chancellor. Now, with a cat who knew nearly nothing of any Clan ways, they intended to overthrow Satin and install Rain as the new Chancellor.
They hoped it would all turn out well - if it didn't, Satin would set the she-dog Darla and her gang on them all.

Raven, a calico she-cat with a mark on her shoulder that resembled a raven, slowed to halt on the broken asphalt of her home. She looked back at the two toms following her and briefly smirked. She'd been fast her whole life, as fast as a dog, as her father had told her.
Raven swept the memory aside as Rain and Flight caught up with her.
"We're here," she mewed. "This is good."

Flight, a slightly pudgy tom, nodded and gasped, trying to catch his breath.

Raven turned to look at Rain and meowed, "Would you like something to eat?" The tom was surprised, but he nodded eagerly.
Raven did a small smile. "Good. We'll feed you." She began to lead the way again and Rain followed. As Flight began to follow she cast him a look. He returned a look, which translated meant, 'Yep. He's on our side. And he'll stay on our side.'
