Leader's speak Empty Leader's speak

Post by NKninja Sat Jan 28, 2012 6:19 am

Etching his way against the long and uncomfortable grass, Crow held behind Leafstar, who was being conveniently silent. To what he knew about the leader, Being very chatty and all as they had joined. Why did she lead him so far out of camp? What did she mean by ' we need to speak in private'? Fluently washing the questions to the back of his mind, he carried on forward to the Roseclan leader.

Leafstar stopped in her pace, looking down at the ground for a moment before turning to Crow. She had lead them to the place apprentices usually train, but she left out the words to save time.
"... So. You said that a prophecy is the reason you are here?" she said out of coincidence.
Crow's eyes nearly grew wide with confusion. He was so uptight in having an entire other clan at his pawsteps that he had completely forgotten the reason they had been there.
"... That's correct. And it's no lie to oblige that I didn't," he retorted in a menacing tone.
" That doesn't matter to me! These ...mudbloods? Why did they attack your and Spike's clan?"
Crow was nearly blank for words. But that figure in his mind was still sharp as a thorn... With a few heartbeats to plot out his words, he raised his head to the leader and began
" Originally, my clan was intertwined with the mudbloods-- this was only because they- Out of the ordinary, barged into my camp, offering an alliance with my clan and theirs. Even though the offer was well inputted and could have been easier then what our two clans had to go through for my choice. I declined and attacked them."
"So you're saying that you were actually thinking of joining them?" Leafstar interrupted in awe.
" Yes, they had explained that I would be consistent as a general in their ranks. But my former ma-- Friend, hated the idea.. I guess she knew right from wrong more then I ever did...."

Crow lowered his gaze as he curled his own tail closer to his moderately small frame.
" Well.. We all do some strange things when in danger," Leafstar added, attempting to make the scene a bit more comfortable for the Coreclan leader. " The time to attack has to be soon then! When, is the answer."
Crow lifted his calico head upward to Leafstar, Even though he didn't want to admit it, the She-cat was right. " Possibly tomorrow. Arn't there other clans around?" "No! That'd be too risky. They have twice the amount of warriors. And we don't know if their friendly or not!" Leafstar retorted, hissing under her breath.
" It's just... We need more warriors, they have practically millions. We have at least Ten!" Crow added softly, his low, crooked tone fading in the wind. Leafstar nodded briefly, " Out of all, we need to train harder. Our three clans combined may not be large enough against thousands. But you survived to come here.. Right?"
Crow's ears lifted with admiration. It did make sense.. But how could such a team like them become as strong as the enemy, " Look at me mouse-brain!" Leafstar growled, noticing Crow was vanishing into the clouds, " We need to improve our battle tactics! Scavage their area, see their pinpoints. It's the strategy that counts.. Not the number."

Crow snorted. It sounded ridiculous! He didn't make up such a false prophecy for nothing! He wanted Ranks... Power.... Bloodlust.. But how could he if this pitiful leader was going to act so vulnerable.
" Fine... We'll train our clans together. In defense and offense... But I will plan out the training! Not you! Leave your apprentices to me. And you investigate Redhills for the filthy clay bitten fleabags!"
Leafstar lifted her dark brown pelt in anger, " Leave someone I barely know with my clan?! Never! I will train my clan, I will teach them battle moves, and I will lead them to their deaths!!" She yowled in disgust, unsheathing her claws and digging them into the dirt beneath her.
Instantly, she drew back her anger in a flash, " I'm sorry! You can help them with fighting techniques. My deputy, Spike, and I will look into a scheme and tactic among these rogues."
The two, padding side by side each other, stood up slowly, and began their short travel back into camp.
