The Time has Come.

Leafstar, the leader of Roseclan, sat upon the top of her den, pondering how to announce what was going on. There were changes happening, what with the new Mudbloodclan, the two other leaders, and new cats in the clans. Thinking hard, she yelled, "Let all cats gather beneath the Highridge for a meeting!" out to the whole clan, finally having made up her mind.

Blazefall approached from the Warrior den, his eyes heavy.It's time....

Spike watched and retorted,"If only my clan could be like this," He said that softly so no one could hear him.

[Guest]

Leafstar began speaking once everybody was listening.

"A new threat is upon us. Not leaf-bare's harsh snow, nor sickness. There is a clan out there that call themselves Mudbloodclan. How many there are, I am not sure. How strong they are, is unclear, but the leaders of both Coreclan and Searclan have come to me to form an alliance.

"We are no longer the lone clan in this stretch of the forest. These Mudbloods are also intruding upon allied lands, and are capable of great damage. However, we have one thing they do not. Unity; amongst ourselves, and among others.

"Trouble is coming. It is coming fast. I was visited by a friend from long ago last night. Not in the camp; he spoke to my dreams. He said, Three will become one, and the forest will rise.

"I do not know what he meant. I do not know where or how this is possible. But it happened. And now, we have to fight this trouble, at any cost. The clans must be preserved. We. Will. Fight."

Leafstar finished her speech, and looked out at the cats. "And now, I have something of a lighter tone to say. Nightkit, Spirekit, please step forward."

[Rainpelt]

Nightkit's ears perked up. It's finally happening! Her tail waved eagerly as she made her way to Leafstar.

"Nightkit, you have proven yourself worthy of training in the ways of a warrior- both inside and out. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you shall be know as Nightpaw. Blazefall will be your mentor." Leafstar mewed.

[Rainpelt]

Blazefall? Nightkit thought in amazement. To think Leafstar allowing me to be the apprentice of an awesome warrior! Wow!
Nightkit solemnly mewed, "Thank you, Leafstar. I will always do my best to become a worthy warrior of RoseClan!"

[NKninja]

Crow stood by the side of Blazefall had not known how it was to Mentor a cat. He saw it as a punishment then an achievement.

Spirekit stood behind Nightpaw. her fur cleaned well and glowing with anticipation and passion. I hope I get as good as a mentor like Nightpaw she thought as she waited for her name to be called

"Spirekit. You too, have proven yourself, through determination and passion. Until you receive your warrior name, you shall be know as Spirepaw. I will mentor you myself." Leafstar mewed.

[Rainpelt]

Nightkit padded over to Spirekit. "Congratulations! You're going to be mentored by the leader herself!"

[NKninja]

Spirepaw lifted her head in amusement. She did get a good mentor. " Thanks" she mewed as she touched noses with her new mentor. She couldn't think of a happier time in her life to be apprenticed but now. With large ease, she stepped back with Nightpaw to hear what Leafstar was going to say next.

Leafstar raised her head. "Today, my clan-mate, my friends, and allies, is the start of a new beginning! We are no longer just clans, scattered across the lands. Today, we are one, as the cats of the forest and the fields, the cats of mountains and valleys. We are not just a weak group."
She paused, then mewed, "Today, I ask Spike and Crow to unify their clans with me, as to become one collective group. I ask them to join their clans with this one, to become Forestclan in our fight against them, at least, until the Mudblood problem is solved."

[Rainpelt]

Nightpaw (got to get used to that!) listened attentively, although she could hardly understand fully what was going on.

[NKninja]

Spirepaw raised her head ignorantly " Why can't we join allegiance with this 'Mudbloodclan' instead of fighting them?" She yowled out of the crowd, her pelt bristling to the cats of the other clans.

"Fine. You go join a clan that torched our ally's home." Leafstar mewed bluntly.

[NKninja]

Spirepaw only lowered her head and softly hissed. She'd rather not join a clan without anyone else agreeing with her. She fluffed her tail up with embarrassment.

Crow turned silently to Leafstar " Quite a handful of an apprentice" he mewed silently, no one else hearing.

"Also my daughter." She replied.

[NKninja]

OOC: Crow is like O.O

IC: Crow stared at her blankly, turning back to Spirepaw and resembling the genetics of the two. The only resemblance he saw was their green eyes. Keeping it to the edge of his mind, he padded down the highledge. When he reached the bottom, he anticipated the end of the meeting.

Leafstar calmly leaped down, her speeches having worn her out.

Nightpaw glanced at Spirepaw. Why is she so caught up with Clans mixing together?

Feathertail passed by Nightpaw, tickling her ear with her tail, she looked back at the newly made apprentice and mewed, "Congratulations NightPAW!" Without hearing her reply she padded in front of Leafstar's den, waiting for entrance.

Leafstar padded up to Feathertail. "How's your paw?"

[Guest]

Then Blazefall remembered what had happened earlier.He had to speak with Leafstar in private.He walked rather briskly up to Leafstar and Feathertail.He waitened patiently while they were having their conversation.

Feathertail glanced at the handsome tom who stood at the precipice of her vision before sweeping her tail towards her paws and smiling at Leafstar, "Wonderful, thanks to you and Dreamsong." She was mute for a moment, lost in thought with her eyes cast downwards. Finally she inhaled and looked up with a frightening determination sparking in her cerulean gaze. "I wish to fight along side your people. I owe it to you. And I-I realize you can't spare a moment, but p-perhaps you have a warrior to spare, so as they may teach me how to fight. Although I can hold up well on my own after living through several neighborhood skirmishes.' Absently she flicked her ear at the memory. The light poking through the clean hole in her right ear. 'But it's probably nothing compared to your battles."

[Rainpelt]

Nightpaw looked up at Feathertail just as the she-cat sauntered away. She followed suit, and caught Feathertail's last words: "...probably nothing compared to your battles."

"So, is she going to get accepted into the Clan?" Nightpaw questioned Leafstar, her bushy tail flickering in impatience.
