So. He hadn't killed him. What a surprise. Talon got up off the ground shakily, the deep wound on his throat bleeding, but clotting slightly. He took inventory of himself, and was astonished at how soft he had grown. Talon had just suffered a massive defeat against his brother, Hawkfeather, and was out for vengeance. That soft clan cat, Shimmerpelt, would be the first to go. Then his friends. Then Hawkfeather himself. Perfect. Talon began padding back to where he had come from, many miles away. When he got back, the blood had stopped, but the wound was still visible. He looked around, wondering where Dage had gotten off to.

Dage had been outside her backyard, skirmishing with the catnip that smelled wonderful! She then padded over to her milk dish that was left out for her by her owners. She began to lap at it, the soothing feeling as it feel from her whiskers.
Even from the small fight, she did cry and whine for a while, the pain feeling unbearable from the bite on her shoulder. When she was padding home, she had found what her other neighbors said was, what was it... Burdock root? Something along the lines of that. She did feel better, and sorta liked the scar that could stay there. Then other cats could take her seriously with the cool skin revealing from her shoulder-blade.

She started to lick the wound, but a strong scent flowed into her lungs as she did. The scent of blood. And not hers... She climbed up the picket fence and looked from below, " TALON?!" she called as she noticed the trail of blood following him. She jumped down from the fence, and ran towards him, " You mouse-brained IDIOT!!" she spat as she stopped in front of him, examining the injury on his neck

"It's nuthin." Talon grumbled. "It could be worse...."
((And she thought a little bite would look cool.))

" Worse then what i've ever seen!" Dage exclaimed, beginning to wash away some of the blood with the dew drops that were already scattered across the ground. " Can you stop acting so mature and at least think about yourself once in a while?!" she added swiftly as the sticky blood began to stain her paw slowly. She wanted to puke to the look of the injury, but didn't show it in anyway possible... so far that is.

"I had a score to settle. And could you get me some marigold?" Talon mewed.

Dage had not known what this 'marigold' was, Was it a person? Human? Cat? What?
Her neck fur tensed as she noticed blood beginning to trickle down from his mouth.

"A gold flower. Hurry!" Talon mewed, beginning to panic.

Dage flinched, HE READ MY FREAKING MIND, she thought as she ran away, " Oh god!" she yelped as she jumped over her neighbors fence to see the small flower.. But it was brown, the wrong color... Marigold... Marigold.. Her whole back was bristling as she simply plucked the flower and ran back to Talon, wishing it wasn't too late.

Talon felt lightheaded. Looking up, he saw the stars shimmering brightly, almost seeming to swoop down to join him. Then, all he saw was darkness....

"TALON!" Dage yelled as she saw the rogue collapse before she could give him what he needed. She began to run faster and rubble flew past her as she urged not to slide past him. " Come on Talon" she softly nudged his chest, " get up" "get up" " GET UP!" she repeated slowly from a silent mew to a screeching whelp. A small scent traced into her nose.. A scent she remembered.. the scent of death.
The last time she smelled something like that was when her mother died giving birth to her. Her small developing snout tracing that remaining scent of her mother as they threw her out of the place of the 'cutter'.

After what seemed forever, Talon finally woke up. "D-Dage?"

Dage was already on the picket fence, staring bluntly at him with a hollow expression. She didn't hear his voice and still glared at him, feeling as if it was her fault he died.

Talon tried to stand up, but only fell back to the ground. Twisting his head around, he called out more powerfully: "Dage?"

Dage's eyes widened to the figure of him moving, she jumped of the fence and dashed over to him. She had dragged him only a bit closer to the fence when she felt too sad to do it anymore.
"Talon?" she mewed softly, partly chocking up to the feeling he was still alive.

"I think so." Talon joked, trying to stand once more.

with her side, Dage helped him up, " Come on, we have to heal you"
Slowly, she led Talon to a small opening in the fence, she edged him forward slowly into her backyard
