Bane had been alone for too long now. Ever since those wretched humans had killed his family, he had been alone. They thought they were omnipotent, all powerful, those humans did. Stopping at a low mesa covered in Heliotropes, Bane paused. He thought he smelled something.... off. Sitting down, he began to scour his memory for the scent. Then he remembered. There were other wolves here.

OOC: Wow, this is way overdue, but...
IC: Jnemmu, Fierie and Anamacha were patrolling along the border, when a strange scent tickled Fierie's nostrails. The Alpha Female glanced up, sniffing again to confirm what she was smelling.
"I smell wolf," she muttered to the patrol.

Bane smelled more wolves on a faint breeze. He looked around, his soulful amber eyes catching all there was to see. He contemplated howling, and the scent was faint. Bane made up his mind, tossing back his head and howling loudly.
