Daytime Layabout

Tawnyclan's camp was one of the most beautiful of all the clan's camps. A gentle stream, raised high by the melting snow, passed through the centre of the camp right under the massive willow log. Where on one side, was the warriors den and apprentices further down; and on the other, by the roots, was the medicine cat den. The thick shrub of many berry's formed a perfect circle around the camp that was lush, in areas, of long emerald green grass covered in last night's dew.
Tawnyclan in generations had prepared this camp to live long, placing sand from the stream on to paths to prevent mud. Cutting and shaping different 'rooms' out of the fallen willow with their claws a and further using clay, mud and sticks to make the Nursery and elders den more cosy.
Then there was the leaders den.The Leaders den was placed on a mound of rocks, At the other end of the camp, five large boulders made the; roof, side walls, back wall and floor. In the middle was a smaller booulder with a large indent creating a pocket, this was full of sand. Lokistar lay watching her warriors from the entrance, soaking up the sun.
next to her was the half eaten sparrow Tigerflame had brought her up.
Her icy eyes flickering in amusement as Wolffang, Rainstorm and Tigerflame splashed the water, flicking up small fish and aiming sheafed blows at each other.
"HONESTLY!" hissed Nightail exasperatedly ", you three are like kits."
"No were not," Wolffang mewed indignantly.
"Were having fun, you need to lighten up, Mother," Laughed Rainstorm, "Your getting old."
Nightail began to rant. Its almost like the old times... Lokistar thought coolly, If only I were younger. I used to be the best for getting the 'goody' warriors soaked. She pleasured herself with the thought of being told of by a dripping wet Russetfoot the previous deputy that died shortly after (along with Tawnystar and Nightpaw)
Lokistar was one of the worst trouble makers in Tawnyclan, I used to be like you, she thought watching Tigerflame boast about a fox he had chased off. A troublemaker for Abbysclan too, she smiled warily, it won't always be like that though; The skies are changing, We'll all need each other soon enough.
Now Solarstorm came over, like a hen disturbed from her nest, fussing over the wet Nightail who was roaring at the top of her voice.
"I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU HAVE THE INDECENCY TO DO THAT! I'LL HAVE YOU DOING APPRENTICE JOBS FOR THAT AND I'LL MAKE YOU REGRET THE DAY YOU WERE BORN, I SHOULD PUNISH YOU NOW! PREPARE TO LOSE AN EAR YOU MOUSE BRAINED IDIOT! I'LL WIPE THAT SMUG SMILE RIGHT OFF YOU FACE!"
Nightail looked ten times her size and her eyes was rolling with rage.
Lokistar's younger brother, attempted to calm her down, in vein.
"My dear, please it was a silly game! Let it pass they didn't mean it_"
"DIDN'T MEAN IT!" Snorted Nightail in digust, "ARE YOU OF ALL CATS TAKING THEIR SIDE? YOU MAY AS WELL GO SPLASH IN THE WATER WITH THEM!" she turned and stormed into the warriors den, Solarstorm passed a stern look towards the trio and disapeared after her.
The three rolled around in laughter. Tigerflame puffing up his fur, "AND I'LL PUNISH YOU! PREPARE TO LOSE AN EAR!"
His imitation was quite good, Wolffang asked him if he was secretly a she-cat and he replied, "Why are you attracted to me?"
They laughed.
What a lovely day! Lokistar thought, I feel a day younger...

[Ezziestar]

"TIGERFLAME!!! WATCH OUT!" Ezziesong yowled as Stone was pelting towards his direction. She leaped and tackled the younger tom, Stone yowled in fear as he was pushed to one side, Ezziesong on top of him. The two rolled into the stream, then both jumped out as the water was too cold for either of them. They sat on the edge, cleaning their pelts, licking off the water. ezziesong stood and began to shake her head to remove extra water, but accidentally knocked Stone into the water again.

Tigerflame jumped as a tide of water crashed over his head and swiped the water with his paws causing a good amount to crash on Ezziesong.
Wolffang and Rainstorm began to play fight.
"STOP!"
Everyone went silent and turned their heads; Leopardstorm stood panting and looking horrified.
Lokistar heeved her self up and mewed calmly, "What has happened, Leopardstorm?"
Despite being a senior warrior, being usually quite Leopardstorm could not control her tongue.
"GLACIERCLOUD'S DEAD!!!"

"WHAT!" answered Thornpelt

[Ezziestar]

Before she was told to stop, Ezziesong threw a pawfull of water at Stone, and the two stopped. When she heard that Glaciercloud was dead her eyes widened. "Glaciercloud? How did she die?"
Stone studied his paws in thought.

[Loki]

"I was in the forest and then," she took a gulp of air, "I saw her body, it had a carved stick and feathers coming from her side!"
"An arrow?" Lokistar mewed, her voice strained with emotion.
"I don't know but there are two-legs every where I tried to get her body but I was nearly killed too!"
"This is terrible," Mewed Lokistar," It seems, the two-legs are now hunting in the Tawnyclan forest."
Swiftstrike and Clifftail gasped.
Dayriser gave a nervous twitch and
Nightail along with Solarstorm cried out in terra.
Tigerflame spat, "But two-legs don't need to hunt."
"Originally," Mewed Lokistar," come early New-leaf, Two-legs would come to kill deer for fun."
"Thats horrible!" Yowled Sunshift.
"But now they must be after cats as well."
"Calm your selves!" she howled, "Apprentices will sleep with the warriors. Three warriors will stay guard,
Ezziesong you are to stay while I travel to the Moonfall, to seek answers with starclan. Tigerflame you will come with me."
Tigerflame nodded a glint of determination in his eyes.

[Ezziestar]

Ezziesong bowed her head, "Yes Lokistar." She murmured.
Stone blurted out, "Could I stand guard? I know I'm not a full Tawnyclan warrior yet, but could I please?"
Ezziesong was a little surprised at the urgancy in his voice. He seems so keen when he hasn't known Glaciercloud for as long as we have... I'm rather sorry for him.
She rested her tail on his shoulder, Stone flinched, but relaxed afterwards. Then it struck her, He's hoping Stormclaw comes back! That must be why he wishes to stay, to see if Stormclaw returns... even when he tried to kill him.

[Loki]

"We will too!" mewed Wolffang and Skyblaze in unison.
Tigerflame gave them an approving look and Lokistar nodded
"I agree," She looked over them,"In case of emergency you must not leave this camp, if Ezziesong tells you to do
something; you do it. If you have to leave, head towards the moonfall."
Lokistar turned and left the camp, Tigerflame in her wake.

"What do you want me to do." Mewed Thornpelt. "How did she die?" muttered Thornpelt.

IC: Fireshade padded into the clearing from the warriors den, eyes drowsy and nearly concerning from what he heard. " Didn't you listen Thornpelt, the mouse-brained twolegs got her" he growled to the warrior.

"What about the corpse? Should we bring it back here?" he asked Lokistar, even though he didn't care for the medicine cat, he assumed others would.

IC:The air seemed to chill the clan camp,as feelings and emotion flew everywhere.

Lokistars eyes flashed in warning, "No, Its not worth having more killed. Her body could be used as bit for us."
and with that she left.

OOC: Sunshift's in the clearing right now with swift and ezzie.

Sunshift nodded silently,his mind deep in thought.What should we do now?Just wait for another cat to die of the blasted two-legs?He flashed his tail as he sat down.How could she derserve to just die without a grave?It sounded like a horrible way to be left like that.But Sunshift had another thought.How colud Lokistar just leave her like that?But he immediatly disposed of it.He had to think better than that.

Thornpelt sat silently waiting for orders. His thoughts were swirling he couldn't think, he had a feeling of anger and fear.

[NKninja]

Fireshade looked at Thornpelt with an annoyed gaze, he could smell the fear that washed over him, How could a warrior be so afraid of some mangy two-legs? he thought instinctively. Then he turned away back into the warriors den, tail just slightly dragging the ground as he walked.

OOC: it's not that, it's just that i play very stubborn characters. Thats all... And he doesn't hate your character, he's just annoyed of the idea of a warrior being scared from a two-leg

Sunshift realized that the shock phase was over,so he padded to the fresh-kill pile.He grabbed a plump mouse,and went into the warriors' den."Deaths aren't as sad these days,are they," he muttered under his breath.

[NKninja]

" I say they never were" Fireshade replied to Sunshift. He was lying near the entrance of the warriors den, cleaning himself out of boredom of nothing else to do in camp.

[Guest]

Sunshift began to eat his mouse.He took a bite,and immediatly spit it out in disgust.What was in this thing?His eyes searched through the mouse but saw nothing.His appetite lost,Sunshift tossed the mouse carcass across the den and headed toward his nest.

[Loki]

Night drew in. The stars shone wildly and the cloudless night was alive with the buzzing of grass hoppers.
Wolffang sat on watch looking sadly out into the night.
How long has it been? He thought sadly, "Shouldn't they back?"
As he said it the bushes rustled and he sprang to his feet preparing to attack, his hackles raised in warning
but the tired face of Lokistar appeared Tigerflame leaning and gasping heavily at her side.
"Lokistar..."
Tigerflame his shoulder bleeding and his face screwed up in pain, attempted to stand but he retreated back to Lokistars aged but muscled shoulder.
"We went to the Moonfall straight away, Starclan has not appeared in my dreams," She mewed coolly.
"So we went to retrieve Glaciercloud but_"
"On your own!?" Wolffang butted in.
Tigerflame nearly spat to silence him, but could only reply weakly, "Lokistar was right, It was a trap. We could see her blood but not her body."
"She is at peace with Starclan now," Mewed Lokistar sadly, "I am afraid, Our clan is in danger as we speak, For some reason; these two-legs are out to kill us."
"Why?"
"They are curious creatures but their nature is to dominate," Lokistar replied, "No one is to leave the camp..."
She looked angrily at her paws, "We must leave immediately to Dewclan, Tigerflame has been badly wounded."
"NO!" Tigerflame spat suddenly, "Its my fault, I begged you to take me there."
"No Tigerflame I too foolishly allowed myself to be drawn in, it is at your thanks that I am still alive."
She turned to Wolffang, "Send for Dayriser and one more cat that wishes to go."

[Gast]

"I will go" Thornpelt's voice sounded as he padded over to them.
He silently told himself that he could do this that he was strong enough to do this.

[Loki]

"Lokistar regarded the tom for a moment then mewed, "Yes, okay."

Dayriser grunted."We're always going over there."He shook his head and sighed."Let's go then,shall we?"He gave his chest a quick lick and added,"Don't want Daystar to have any good moods,do we?Waiting here while it gets darker."
