Re: 5th Gathering - 5/13/11
OOC: Alright, lets get this started btw cats who I want coming in from my clan, (All Tawnyclan posts will acts as if they happened before/after the gathering) Alright: Lokistar, Glaciercloud, Dayriser, Tigerflame, Swiftstrike, Jacklepaw , Rainstorm, Demonbark, Skyblaze,Wolffang ,Strikefast & Sunshift.
No other cat may come unless you ask me nicly with a PM.
IC:
As usual these days, Tawnyclan was the first to arrive. Lokistar steadily led them across and past the moonfall and up the rocks. A trail here had already been made since generations of clan cats had appeared here.
The whole area was populated with puddles, the only scent that lingered was of fowl humidity, wet mud and drenched plants. Already were their bellies foiled with the mud making it scratchy.
The group came to the large round 'bowl' of a clearing known as Bloodstone. It was true that the clay here was blood red, but bloodstone seemed like an odd name for a place meant for peace. However, Lokistar began to make her gentle way up to the High ledge and felt her age nag at her and this was why Tawnyclan came early.
She'd gotten half way up the rest of the climb felt like a thousand fox lengths and that was the truth, She hopped onto a moss covered rock and slid miserably.
Tigerflame bolted up and helped her up, She was wordless. He looked pitiful at her but she hissed angrily at him, "Know your place warrior." She carried on up Tigerflame watched her up and realized she'd have been better off without him helping, she didn't want it and he couldn't blame her. She was his hero, savior and superior. He bowed with respect and joined his clan.
Lokistar had made it to the top. Frustration crawled through her pelt and she sighed. How pathetic, She looked up to the deep cloudless night sky and mumbled respectful words to starclan. She knew she was growing old, her spirit didn't but her body did, she hated it but she accepted it. She wondered whether that fowl looking tom who represented Mudbloodclan would come, she doubted it somehow.
But surely Searingeyes would be representing Abbysclan, he wasn't fowl like the others more straight to the point. She was sure that the disappearance of cats was true to the other clans as well.
Skyblaze began to groom his fur of the clay. It tasted salty and he winced.
He looked up wandering who was going to show up, while Rainstorm and Wolffang were discussing situations.

Re: 5th Gathering - 5/13/11
Jacklepaw looked around exitedly. My first gathering! The young apprentice was bursting with joy. He sighed with satisfaction. Jacklpeaw took in the scents of other clans. "Yuck!" Jacklepaw growled,"What is that smell!" Demonbark, his mentor, chuckled lightly. "It's just Dewclan. I'm sure they feel the same way about our smell," Demonbark mewed. She looked around, exited also. She wondered why Lokistar had picked her to mentor Jacklepaw. She was a fairly new warrior after all.

Strutting into the clearing, coming from seemingly nowhere, came the three 'dark toms' of Abyssclan. They seemed to be padding forward in formation, taking their time.
They glared at Tawnyclan, smirks on their faces.

Re: 5th Gathering - 5/13/11
Lokistar looked down on the toms, a sigh releasing from her grey muzzle. Tawnyclan had waited half an hour but that was okay. She waited wondering who shall arive, will Searingeyes come up here and speak friendly or will it be another? It seemed all the leaders had a bone to pick with her clan these days. She couldn't care less, she had better things to worry about. She lay down, in deep thought.
Tigerflame and several other toms including Skyblaze,Wolffang, Solarstorm, Rainstorm and Dayriser laughed in their gossip nearly as soon as the three dark toms emerged. Tigerflame was no longer the sleek slim built tom he was a few moons ago, He had began to com into his prime, well musceled and brightly built, he was the ring leader of the three toms; Skyblaze, Wolffang and himself. Tigerflame yawned indignantly as the Abbysclan 'scum' appeared and padded away, the group followed their tails and heads high.
Solarstorm stayed where he was, being Lokistars sibling he shared her age, though he wasn't as bad in the bones as she was. He sighed daringly, keeping his prejudice to himself. The grey fur on his pelt did not show as easily as Lokistar's had, since his pelt was a deep golden color.

Sliding into the clearing from another end, Cunningheart and Tigerfrost took point at the edges of the clearing, Paleclaw and some Servants taking their places as well. They managed to smoothly make a ring around the edges of the clearing, taking no notice of the other Clan.

Re: 5th Gathering - 5/13/11
OOC: And dewclan arrives BTW Longstorm (or switchfar, whoever RPs him) Grimclaw is supposed to be at this gathering..
IC:
Daystar came down into the wet mud ridden bowl known as 'Bloodstone' and left his clan in the center; while he made his way to the top. He came up easily and sat a good distance away from Lokistar before sitting down with his tail neatly wrapped around his paws.
Lokistar rolled her eyes and felt the silence between the two clans was braking up any relationship between her and her former aprentice. It made her think bank to the days where Daystar was slow and couldn't think fast- Now he led a clan. She smiled warily to herself, how long ago was that?

Re: 5th Gathering - 5/13/11
Mistpaw didn't know where to go, she began to look around for Stormpaw, maybe he was here? Mistpaw didn't know that Stormclaw was a warrior yet, Maybe Glaciercloud could... But she stopped, realizing that, if he was dead she wouldn't tell her. Sighing, Mistpaw stayed were she was.
Re: 5th Gathering - 5/13/11
OOC: Just mentioning, there aren't any Servants here...
Cloudfeet, a warrior of Darkclan, entered the clearing, trailed by Lightningpelt and her apprentice. He looked at the three familiar Clans and took a deep breath - it had been some time since Darkclan had attended a Gathering properly.
Lightningpelt sighed as she sat, licking her paw absentmindedly.
Bronzepaw followed the two in, his bronze-furred head held high as he took a seat with them. Although he was acting calm, he was very nervous; this was his first Gathering.
I wonder if anyone knows that I'm Thornstar's son? If they do, will they not like me?
He'd been told the basic warnings - beware of Tawnyclan, their smiles and purrs are deceiving. Beware of Dewclan, for they hate the other Clans. Beware of Abyssclan, for we owe a great debt to them... Bronzepaw shook his head, feeling overwhelmed. There were no allies here. And that was scary.

Re: 5th Gathering - 5/13/11
Having lagged behind to speak to Sunmist (or rather, have a spat with her), Redstar now padded into the crimson clearing. He looked at the other three Clans and picked out their leaders - Lokistar, a seasoned leader; Daystar, hailing from Tawnyclan, but a Dewclanner in his own right... Redstar half expected one of the Powerfuls to be present, but all the red tom could see was Abyssclan warriors around the clearing.
Redstar suppressed the desire to stay where he was. He madly wanted to go back to him den and fall asleep, but his Clan expected him to represent him at this Gathering... Especially when there was no deputy or medicine cat to step in for him.
He was alone.
Redstar took a deep breath and continued to the Bloodstone - he'd been up there once before, only to warn the Clans to stay away from them (what the Clans hadn't known was that Thornstar was bad for their health), but now it was painfully different.
He bunched up his leg muscles, and in a single leap, made it to the top. He nodded to Lokistar and Daystar, almost dipping his head as he had been taught.
You're a leader now, stupid, he told himself. We're equals.
Longflig- Longfur - took his place with the young warriors of his Clan. Longfur had only recently given up his wonderful title as a warrior as he knew his age was catching up with him. Yes, he'd seen his reflection in the pond and could see just how silver his once-cream face had become. His long fur wasn't as glossy as it once had been, and his pounce was growing weaker.
The elder sighed, looking up at his leader, thinking of how many leaders had come and gone.
Wow, I'm old.

OOC: Since no one said I couldn't, here comes Flowerpaw!
IC: Flowerpaw, one of the survivors of the Darkclan Rebellion, followed behind her clan. This was her first Gathering in her life and Smokepelt had told her to 'be a good cat'. Like she was just some newborn kit!
She looked around for friendly faces, but everyone seemed to be too busy to take notice of her.
Raggedwisp groaned, his muscles aching after the long trek to Bloodstone. Looking up, he saw a lonely black (mostly) apprentice looking confusedly around her. He beckoned to her with his tail, meowing in a friendly tone, "Don't be afraid of the other cats. But if you like, I can tell you about MY first Gathering. Back then, the clans were much more hostile." he chuckled absently.

Re: 5th Gathering - 5/13/11
Jayleaf walked into the mass of cats. The blue-gray tabby padded across towards the Bloodstone, hoping to see his fellow Medicine Cats. Jayleaf spotted Raggedwisp talking to a black apprentice. Poor she-cat. She'll have to spend the whole Gathering listening to him. The Dewclan Medicine Cat chuckled. The moon sat up high, a silver globe in the ebony blanket that was the sky. He looked around for someone to talk to.

Re: 5th Gathering - 5/13/11
Despite it being Mistpaw's second gathering, she was still feeling awkward around the huge cluts of cats and not finding one she could talk to. She decided to follow Jayleaf, so she padded after him.
Re: 5th Gathering - 5/13/11
Lokistar dipped her head to the bright darkclan tom that appeared by them. She sat up and licked a ruffled spot to her chest and mewed to the two by her, Redstar and Daystar, "I wonder what Abbysclan are plotting."
She narrowed her icy blue eyes which seemed to begin to go cloudy with cataracts. She fluffed up her pelt against the chilling night breeze.
Daystar silently agreed but he wasn't going to reply after all, Tawnyclan would be the beareres of all his problems, why become an ally with a doomed force anyway?
He shrugged and looked down, "Well, instead of playing hide and seek they could hurry up so we can leave."
Down bellow them was Tigerflame and his troublesome duo, Wolffang and Skyblaze, seem to be talking loudly amongst themselves.
"How's Sunshift?" Skyblaze asked Wolffang in a half hearted way.
"He's getting better..." Wolffang replied, "Glaciercloud's got her paws full with Ezziesong and him."
"Oh..." Skyblaze shrugged," Well anyway... Lokistar's on about watching borders...you on for a night patrol?"
"night patrol?" Wolffang gasped.
"I think its a good idea, Abbysclan go on them, who knows what their doing..." Tigerflame butted in...
"I'm gonna ask Swiftstrike if she'll come on it with me," Skyblaze announced.
"Rainstrom's got his eye on her..." Tigerflame mewed coldly.
"Who cares? No claim no game."
"What ever," Tigerflame snapped not wanting to get onto the subject of... she-cats.
Dayriser, Rainstorm and Solarstorm talked quitley amongst themselves.
"You can't!" Exclaimed Rainstorm.
Dayriser had mixed feelings.
Solarstorm shrugged mildly, "I'v decided that becoming an elder is right... I'm too old to be running around like this anymore."
"Its your choice I guess..." Rainstorm mewed solemnly.

IC: Sunmist padded into the clearing, her fur still bristling from the spat she'd had. She looked around at all of the cats, not really looking up at the Bloodstone, ignoring Redstar.
Impudent tom, she hissed in her mind. He doesn't know everything!
The orange-misted she-cat sat next to Longfur, waiting for the Gathering to begin.

Re: 5th Gathering - 5/13/11
Mistpaw pricked up her ears at the sound of Glaciercloud's name, She's busy... That's why she isn't here. Now who do I ask?
Re: 5th Gathering - 5/13/11
He didn't have to be punctual. He didn't run on their schedule. He had more important things to do than to be on time for a pity-party the Foresters held every time the blind eye of the strong was turned (it was legend that the full moon was the blind eye many turned to Scourge's treacheries so long ago).
The small, sleek black tom (excluding his single, shining white paw) looked out of the brush, quietly counting all of the cats.
It seemed that Darkclan had produced a new leader - Just in time. Lokistar looked frail, and Daystar looked like an angry kit who'd had his playtime rights revoked.
Shadowstar smiled, a thin, slow expression that masked all his true intentions. Without a sound, he slid into the clearing, a shadow, and seemed to melt to the top of the Bloodstone - Our Bloodstone... The name meant the Foresters still feared them, even when they professed not to.
It would seem that the small, seemingly insignificant tom would remain unnoticed where he sat, the shade seeming to grab at him.
But look! His loyal servants fell silent, bowing as one and remaining in the pose for some time, ears back and eyes closed in reverence.
If only the pitiful leaders he sat near had the comfort (as Foresters need much comfort) of knowing their 'warriors' would put them before everything in life... But then, they were just Foresters - they couldn't be expected to hold such principles.
Shadowstar said nothing, his face made a mask with his smile, his icy eyes flint-like, revealing nothing. He did not hold his head high. No. He didn't need to. He did not keep a superior look. Never.
His history, his blood, was pride enough
OOC: I'm proud of how this turned out.

Re: 5th Gathering - 5/13/11
Although she was bowing low, her nose nearly touching the dirt, Cunningheart felt a burning pride engulf her soul. They were Bloodclan. They were as strong as they made themselves, not some silly code.
Cunningheart sighed happily, Tigerfrost echoing the sigh.
Tigerfrost was beyond thrilled. It was just- just- just- Tigerfrost sighed again, quieter. Whenever he ventured out, it was like he could feel the strength of his entire Clan in his veins. But that was when he was alone in the forest. Now, here, with his Clanmates at his sides and his King looking out over them, for all the Foresters to see was... amazing.
OOC: As you can see, I'm freaking out over this.

"-and that was how I picked the late Crystalshine to be my mate." Raggedwisp concluded his story. "Now let's never, ever talk about that again."
Flowerpaw's eyes were wide with shock. What?! Was that really how Raggedwisp had found his mate? No wonder she should keep quiet about it!
OOC: Being left in suspense is fun!
IC: Raggedwisp yawned. "Well, it's been fun. Go look for some apprentices your age. I'm going to pester- I mean, talk to Jayleaf."
OOC: Hopefully I got it right. He IS at the Gathering, right?

OOC: Med. Cats always go to a Gathering unless they are sick or something.
IC: Jayleaf saw Raggedwisp coming, and panicked. Oh no, gotta run! He quickly darted into the crowd, going more to the front. The leaders exchanged news, and the Dewclan tom listened intently while also making sure Raggedwisp wasn't near him. I am NOT going to listen to his ridiculously long stories on a Gathering! Actually, not in my life! Jayleaf gazed at the leaders of each clan. Three of them looked a bit old, but the other, was young, but older than him. The blue-gray tabby then thought of the missing cats. "i hope Brambleleaf and her kits are OK. Starclan don't let any of them die..."

((I think it is time :3))
Mistpaw was just about to follow Jayleaf until suddenly, the ground lurked beneath her paws, she closed her eyes to keep balance, then snapped her eyes open, she felt a wind gently blowing her fur, the scent of a nearby Thunderstorm hit her... Then, she felt something at her paws, Mistpaw looked down, and her blood ran cold.
A cream coloured she- cat lay at her paws, the small she- cat, possibly a moon apprenticed, stared up, her blue eyes dull and lifeless as it stared up at a night sky.
What cat is this?
Almost as if in reply, a roaring of thunder and bright yellow- white claws raked the ground, faster then an adder's strike. It threw more strikes, this time in Mistpaw's direction. She turned tail and fled, unable to stand up to the storm. Suddenly, a shriek came from nearby, Mistpaw looked up, an eagle narrowly missed her ears. She spun around to watch as tghe eagle tried attacking the storm, but another strike and the eagle got hit, falling until it hit the ground, dead. Mistpaw continued running until she could hide, and watched as the night sky, followed the storm away.
A voice hissed in her ear, "Blood be shed, beware the storm, From near dusk to early dawn, the eagle will fall, the cats be mourned, and Night will follow the storm as it goes."
Mistpaw yowled out, "Please! Tell me more!" Her wail echoed with no reply besides the whistle of the wind, "Who is Storm, Eagle and Night... and why was there a she- cat I couldn't recognize?"
The voice faded off as Mistpaw felt the ground move underpaw. The only word she could hear was, Beware the storm...
Mistpaw closed her eyes and opened them agin, her fur had risen a little, but she smoothed it down. I must tell Jayleaf!
Mistpaw looked around, trying to locate the tom.

Shadowstar felt a shadow near the back of his mind. His pale blue eyes narrowed as he looked over the crowd, still unnoticed by none, excluding his subjects.
Who was that?
Shadowstar's lip curled up into a sneer, then his smile returned in a flash.
OOC: To get this straight: Those Above let Shadowstar know things now and then. He knows someone just had a vision, but he doesn't know who, or what it was about.
Cloudfeet, bored, called,
"Come on! Let's start the Gathering!"
"Cloudfeet, mind yourself," snapped Lightningpelt. It was disrespectful to command a leader!
The gray tom (with white paws) glared at the golden she-cat and hissed,
"Or what, princess, you'll smack me?"
The two glared at each other (one had been a Rebel, the other had not), and they both looked away.

Mistpaw flinched when she felt like someone was watching her, she made her way around the crowd of cats, I must speak with someone!
Re: 5th Gathering - 5/13/11
Lokistar's eyes glazed over and a sharp chill ran up her back. She looked down at the mass, wide eyed. Now? She thought in horror then shook her head, No... She settled rasping a quick tongue across her chest and then looked to her side where Shadowstar was looking coldly and cunningly at the mass of cats with eyes flickering and impatient gossip flying.
She flattened her ears and shrugge mewing: "Well than... Who will start?"
Daystar stood up and looked with eyes looking aaccusingly down at the clans, excluding his own.
And he mewed in a callous voice: "A queen expecting kits, two warrirors and an apprentice missing-"
He paused and looked coldly at Abbysclan, Were they smiling? SAVAGES!
"I want to know... If this has happened in ANY other clan? If not... I have my suspicions." He gave Lokistar and Shadowstar a menacing look.
Tigerflame looked up angrily at Daystar, "Are you suggesting that Tawnyclan did this?"
Daystar mewed angrily, "I never said that I-"
Lokistar stood and interrupted, "Your arguing with my warrior," She mewed potently, then gave Tigerflame a harsh glare, "Learn to keep your mouth shut, warrior. Tawnyclan have had disapearances too, I am guessing the same applies for Darkclan and Abbysclan?" She mewed looking at Redstar and Shadowstar.

Re: 5th Gathering - 5/13/11
Cunningheart and the rest of Abyssclan rose as the Gathering officially began. They wouldn't bow to other leaders.
Tigerfrost watched as Daystar accused other Clans other things.
Gorseclaw listened, interested. Darkclan'd had some disappearances as well, but would Redstar say anything?
