Redstar, leader of Darkclan, paused on the edge of the Blood Quarry (OOC: name changes every Gathering), holding his breath.
"Looks like we're the first here," he called over his shoulder. He flicked the tip of his tail and lead his patrol into the clearing. In a single bound, Redstar was atop the Bloodstone.
It was interesting to see him there, as his pelt almost matched the color of the Bloodstone itself. The split-lipped tom looked on the somewhat cloudy horizon, hearing the soft rumbles of thunder in the distance. Hope we can get this over with..

OOC: Sorry bout' the late arrival!

Ezziesong was flanked by Fireshade, Sunshift, Swiftstrike and Skyblaze as they came from the thicket and up into the dirty red pan of which they had their gatherings on.
Ezziesong felt the moon light spark up her white pelt and she left the small patrol of Tawnyclan and cleared to the top of the ledge in one bound. This is what Lokistar took so long to do?
She sat and looked down at the crowd of cats bellow.
It seemed sort of pitiful how small a patrol she had brought but she wasn't going to risk anymore then that.
She had left Solarstorm in control of the cats back at home, he's capable enough.

Redstar looked at Ezziesong, instinctively looking for Lokistar. "Hello, Ezziesong," he greeted her. "Lokistar and Glaciercloud couldn't make it tonight?" It was odd to not see the Tawnyclan leader at the Gathering - Redstar remembered her as leader when he was still an apprentice, tall and proud.

Redstar blinked in surprise, ears pricked in interest. "Tawnyclan needing help from the seclusive Clan - this must be important." He paused for a moment, just turning the possibilities over in his mind - Could this have something to do with Lokistar's absence?. "I'm listening."

Near in the middle of the mere crowded darkclan cats, Hollowstripe stood, her mussels tense for the thought of the other clans, what would they think of me?... What if think they think the same as my clanmates?
many questions swirled in her head, all of them saying the same thing, what if?
attempting to surpass the unmotivated thoughts, she moved closer to the bloodstone and sat down, waiting for the gathering to begin.

Lightningpelt watched Hollowstripe go up to the Bloodstone, a glimmer of pride and worry in her eyes.
Smokepelt, the yellow she-cat's gray brother, looked at her and mewed, "Stop worrying," he hissed softly. "You're like a kittypet queen, the way you're acting."
Lightningpelt's ears flattened and she batted at her brother. "Oh, shut up - you're no better."
It was true, he'd been different since Flowerfoot had been named as a warrior. But Smokepelt said nothing, pretending to be interested in something else.

Ezziesong looked down and nodded to Hollowstripe and turned back to Redstar, "Its quite complicate."
She sighed and looked across, "Two-legs came and killed Glaciercloud, our medicine cat, by using flying sticks. Tigerflame and Lokistar went to retrieve her body when it was reported. We were told to wait and when they returned Tigerflame was gravely injured."
She felt her claws sink into the clay like ground, "With no medicine cat, one of our senior warriors and..." She paused shyly, "eld-tired, leader were exhausted, I would have gone myself you see. Lokistar's first idea was to head to Dewclan... but..."

IC: The Gathering did seem more boring. Now that Flowerfoot was a warrior, it didn't seem so... out of reach to her. She seemed to have grown up, in mind, though not in body.

OOC: Thats fine GH, i'm well amazed that were not done with this when it was due 9/11!! And isn't tonight the blood moon?

IC: Glancing at the starlit sky, Hollowstripe stared wearily, But keeping her composure around the gathering cats. She seemed so small as a Deputy, taking short glances at Ezziesong with her soft and glowing white fur, and looking back at hers, it was still rather dirty but with her bark fur, no one would even notice. Standing up with a smirk, she looked around the clearing, finding the figure of Flowerfoot. After a moment, she spotted her friend and padded over to her. " So, Flowerp- I mean Flowerfoot. Don't you think Tawnyclan is acting a little.. Strange?" She asked with her common concerned voice.

A dark silhouette of a bat flew over, and Rainheart shuddered slightly, her spine tensed and ridged. This was her first time here at the Gathering, and she felt nervous and edgy. Were all the Clans here yet? Is AbyssClan coming this time? Dark questions swirled around in her head, and for a moment she felt kind of dizzy...

OOC: Isn't this already over, considering the date? Never mind, I still posted!

IC: Rainheart got that strangle feeling of I don't belong here. A soft paw on her shoulder was enough. She jumped, and found herself staring into Skysoar's concerned eyes.

A thought crossed her mind. She thought back to when she'd seen Rook and Flame, the black falcon and kestrel. She wondered what they were doing now, and where they were.

Hollowstripe began to shuffle her paws, Even though they were her 'enemies' She hated the thought of not being able to help them.
Her eyes began to lower when she noticed something else just now " and Where's Abyssclan and Dewclan? It's not that much of a 'gathering' without at least 3 clans" She mewed, smelling the air that didn't reveal the coming scent of the two clans anywhere.

OOC: if you haven't known. Dewclan isn't coming because they just agreed to joining another alliance, i think they need to settle in. And Lokistar isn't here because she went for help of Daystar. Just go with it, it won't be like this next gathering. If your having so much trouble, why not ask Flame if what i said didn't help.

Rainfoot, rather like everyone else, shuffled his paws, waiting. He was near to Hollowstripe, heard her, and laughed shortly, "I'll even take Mudbloodclan, if it'll get the Gathering started!" A few cats murmured agreement.
It wasn't as warm as it could be, the dark clouds gathering ferociously about the bright, silver moon. Rainfoot had thick fur like the whole of his Clan with a nice, rough undercoat - but he hated the rain. "Starclan knows how much I don't want to be caught in this storm."
