Daystar jumped upon the Talll rock and spat, "Come beneath the tall rock to watch the warrior's and apprentice cerimony."
The young leaders icy blue eyes were narrowed, and all the strong warriors will come.
He had in mind who the deputy would be, but he wanted a cat who was going to support his every
word. Not one who questions my choices and command! but he needed time...

[Longstorm]

Coalstripe began to pad over, but saw the Flowerpelt brothers huddled in the apprentice's den.
"Come on out, you two," he said gently. "It's time for a meeting." The black-striped tom continued to the Tall Rock.

Tigerpaw looked over at Bramblepaw.
"Wanna go out," he whispered, thinking of the scary cats.

Firepaw padded to the Tallrock, Dewdrop not too far behind him. (OOC: Sorry - mentors have to be with their apprentices for this... And is Brownpaw getting his name, as well?)

Grimclaw was wondering if Daystar intended to make Brownpaw a warrior too.
"Let's hold back a moment," he whispered to Brownpaw, "Just to be sure."

Dewdrop proudly padded up to the TallRock with her apprentice.
"I knew you'd become a warrior quickly," she purred her praise for maybe the first time ever. "You'll be a credit to the Clan - I taught you, after all."

[Runfast]

Foxclaw joined the group, sitting next to his brother, Coalstripe.
"Your son is going to be a great warrior," he mewed to him.

Shadowpaw sneered at the cowering apprentices and made his way out. He'd passed his assessment, even if his mentor was dead. It was his time to become a warrior, his time to prove himself.
And no pathetic alliance with rogues will get in my way, not now, and not ever.

[Meany]

Brownpaw looked at up his mentor with questioning eyes, but nodded.
"Okay."

[Loki]

"I, Daystar, leader of Dewclan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on these apprentice's . they have trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend them to you as a warrior in their turn."
Daystars Icy gaze dropped to Shadowpaw. "Shadowpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your clan, even at the cost of your life?"

(OOC: any specific name for Brownpaw, something to name after his notorious screech would sound cool)

[Runfast]

Shadowpaw stared up at Daystar and mewed - a bit shakily, since he was more excited and nervous than he'd thought he'd be - "I do."

Foxclaw watched the silent apprentice speak, surprised at the intensity of his gaze.

[Meany]

OOC: You can choose, Loki. I don't mind... Mkae it good!

IC: Brownpaw watched the ceremony with great interest.

[Loki]

"Then by the powers of StarClan I give you your warrior name, Shadowpaw, from this moment on you will be known as Shadowspot. StarClan honors your Strength, courage and your loyalty and we welcome you as a full warrior of Dewclan." He smiled which seemed unfitting to the rest of his features.Then before cheering could commence he rounded on Firepaw.
"Firepaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your clan, even at the cost of your life?"

(rofl it'll probably suck :O)

Firepaw forced himself not to take a step back and he mewed,
"I do."

Coalstripe had nodded to his brother, mewing, "Thank you, Foxclaw." Coalstripe had been a quiet tom since his mate had died.

[Loki]

"Then by the powers of StarClan I give you your warrior name, Firepaw, from this moment on you will be known as Firefoot. StarClan honors your Bravery, skill and loyalty we welcome you as a full warrior of Dewclan."

[Longstorm]

Firefoot broke out into a broad smile, positively glowing.

"Firefoot, Firefoot," Coalstripe yowled his son's name to the sky. Do you see? Do you see that our son is now a warrior? He's strong, just like you.

[Loki]

Daystar's cool gaze then fixed on Brownpaw as if xraying his every thought and will...
his eyes narrowed as he began to speak;
"Brownpaw... do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your clan, even at the cost of your life?"

OOC: how about Brownhowl....

OOC: Sounds good, leader.

IC: The brown apprentice padded up to Daystar, seeing as he and his mentor had been in the back.
Brownpaw's eyes narrowed in return, acknowledging the challenge in Daystar's voice.
"I do."

"Then by the powers of StarClan I give you your warrior name, Brownpaw, from this moment on you will be known as Brownhowl. StarClan honors your Strength, intellect and your uniqueness; as we welcome you as a full warrior of Dewclan."
Brownhowl, he's proven himself loyal, why does he give me this feeling of unease? NO! Daystar told himself, Its not unease it the breeze...

Ravenswift who was just outside Jayleaf's den yowled in apreciation for the two new warriors " Firefoot, Brownhowl, Firefoot, Brownhowl!"

[Guest]

Jayleaf had heard everything, and was now sitting next to Ravenswift. He smiled and joined in the chorus enthusiastically. "Brownhowl! Firefoot!" he yelled the same two words repeatedly, until he choked, and coughed a little. His green eyes shone as Daystar began to seem uneasy. What's wrong? Perhaps I should try and talk to him later today. he thought worriedly, before resuming his howls and caterwauls along with the rest of the Clan.
