Ignored, but Strong

Shadowpaw, an older apprentice, black with a white patch on his chest, was in his nest thinking.
He'd hadn't made many friends during his time in Dewclan, but he knew that was because he was half Tawnyclan.
He'd been brought to Dewclan when he was a kit... And that was the end. Nothing special happened, no big prophecy or anything like that.
Just him.
For the longest time he heard the others whisper "half-clan" when he walked by, when they made a fool of him, when they refused to help him.
But it would all be worth it. He knew he was only days from becoming a warrior. If he became a warrior, then he would be able to rise in the ranks of his Clan, one day becoming deputy, then leader.
That'll show them! A half-clanner leading!
Shadowpaw stretched, his claws unsheathing for a second. "It'll all be worth it," he whispered as he fell asleep.
