Fierie looked up at the ledge where she so often sat and addressed her pack. Now she climbed up slowly, as if this was her last time being up here.
"We'll wait until the hunting patrol returns, then we'll start the meeting. But first," she looked at the two loners. "We'll have to discuss your future roles, and Smoke's too."

"Fierie!" Jnemuu yowled, interrupting the meeting. She came out of the Nursery and called out, "The hunting patrol is taking exceptionally long. I think something went wrong. We really should go and check it out." She could not helping worrying about Lasair, her mate.

Fierie turned. "The patrol IS taking quite a while," she thought. "But if I go, then what could these two loners do in that time? Would they invade the camp, kill Smoke or injure Jnemmu? Would it be better to take them along?"
"Okay, you two." she told the loners. "Here is your chance to prove yourselves. Come along with me to find the patrol. Jnemmu!" she turned to the wolf queen, "you look after Smoke. Anamacha is standing guard outside. Get him to come into the cave and protect you."
She turned and bounded out of the cave without waiting to see if anyone followed her orders.
OOC: Time for Jnemmu to fetch Anamacha from his watch!

IC: Fierie heard a howl far away, she picked up the pace and bounded down the cliff.

Smoke growled, "But I want to come along with you!" he grumbled as the searching patrol left, then turned and headed back to where he has been for as long as he can remember.

OOC: Right now, your charrie Smoke is the only one left, not counting Lasair and Anamacha.
IC: Anamacha came into the cave.
"Go into the nursery. With only three wolves, we'll be vulnerable. Oh, and..." he growled softly, "quit going on about how you can help! You're only a pup! What can YOU do?"

Smoke paused and gritted his teeth but said nothing. He was right... what could Smoke do when he was just a pup. Smoke continued for the nursery, You just wait, I'll be stronger, I'll get stronger, then I can prove I actually deserve to help.
