Secret Training

[Runfast]

Loveless, the only male Servant of Abyssclan, stood nervously on the slopes of Abyssclan territory. From here he could make out the outline of the City, the abandoned two-leg place, and the moving monsters on the distant Thunderpaths.
He inhaled deeply, taking in the scents of his own home and the faint scents of his sister-clan's home. Loveless turned around and looked at the Servants and Mender behind him.

Dauntless looked around at the clearing then at Loveless. She was nervous, but glad that they were here.

Grace padded around, counting the cats that were there, waiting.

[Loki]

Joyless watched from above, on a tree branch. Her expression was nearly emotionless. She looked don waiting to see if everyone was there.

[Longstorm]

Hopeless quickly joined them, followed by Colorless. She mewed quietly,
"I hope we're not late..."

[Loki]

"Late..." Joyless whispered to herself. Sighing.

[Meany]

Bloodclaw looked around at the Servants. Ah, these brave few, ready to fight for a better future! It brought tears to his normally emotionless eyes, but he blinked them back in. He sighed and waited.

[Loki]

Joyless jumped down. She looked around, it looked like everyone was there...
"Alright, Find your selves a partner." She mewed expressionlessly.

[Meany]

Bloodclaw flexed his claws. As a Mender, he knew the battle moves of Abyssclan by heart. He padded up to Hopeless and nodded.

[Longstorm]

Hopeless nodded back, her tail twitching nervously.

Colorless looked around then paired up with Dauntless.

[Loki]

Eyeless looked around a little confusedly, Joyless joined her. She nudged her back legs a little bit away from each other and her front legs in the same position. "Now... \in your groups one of you take this stance, The other charge at the one taking this stance until they can stand up to you, This is called, 'The Leopards choice'."
She quoted her great great... grand dad, and took the stance, "Charge at me Eyeless." She mewed. Eyeless hesitated, but Joyless seemed commanding. So she charged, at first she expected to knock Joyless over but instead she had fallen over the she-cat instead.
Joyless had crouched at the last second, "This is why its calld Leopards Choice, If you do the stance correctly your foe could fall over you, you could crouch, or come under your enemy and rip your claws across the underbelly..." She nodded to Eyeless, "are you okay?"
Eyeless nodded, a little winded and embarrassed.

[Longstorm]

Hopeless watched the move, shocked. She looked at Bloodclaw and gulped, taking the stance.

Colorless glowered at Dauntless and took the stance.

[Loki]

Eyeless got up.
"Its not fair, I can't even see what your doing..."
Joyless looked at the cat and padded over.
"Can you remember the position I pu your legs in?"
Eyeless blinked and got into the stance.
"Can you feel this?"
She began to stamp her paws on the ground,
"yes?" Eyeless said a little confused.
How about now?" Joy had padded further away.
"Yes..."
"Good, now, I'm going to attack you, when a cat attacks the normally
dig their paws into the ground, so..."
Joyless charged, Eyeless waited and crouched although the reaction was a little
delayed, she managed it. Joyless landed on her paws not too far away.

[Runfast]

Loveless grinned and stood face-to-face with Grace.
"Come on, let's go!"

Grace looked at him and leaped at him - Loveless performed the move somewhat awkwardly, since his leg slowed him down. He crouched and Grace sailed over him. She landed, staggering, but she giggled. It was serious, but fun!

[Loki]

Joyless watched over them, Idea's and thoughts wizzing through her head.
She performed the move with Eyeless until it was near pefect. "Thats good."
She watched Grace and Loveless. "Now, Attacker, When you'v fell, You must get up before the defender gets to you. Eyeless?"
Eyeless nodded, "Here I come!"
Eyeless charged at Joyless, though slowed expecting her to crouch, this time Joyless flew under and batted her a fox length away, turning and pinning her.
"Thats unfair! I told you when I was coming!"
"Then don't? Do you think Woebringer or Crachingflight would be all happy about you attacking them. This is serious."
She let go of Eyeless, "If we fail then were all dead. If we win we will never have to be disrespected again. A warrior
in Abbysclan is trained for no merci, So thats how you will be trained. When we begin this battle were not going to ask
nicely for them to not be so... disrespectful.... Were going to show them what were like. Were going to destroy and take them down, show them the fear pounded in all of you these so many generations and give it to them a hundreds times worse in one day!"

[Longstorm]

Hopeless held her tail up.
"Stop. You sound like someone bent on revenge. In case you didn't hear, hun, we're here for each other's best interest, for the betterment of Abyssclan, not personal satisfaction," the kind she-cat looked unusually grave.

Colorless looked at the pretty gray she-cat, wondering,
When did little good-she-cat become so... Better?

[Loki]

Joyless Regarded Hopless, she turned her head away and looked off into the far distance, "Believe what you want to believe, you won't understand my intentions."
Eyeless's ears flickered, was that remorse in Joyless's voice?

[Longstorm]

Hopeless nodded curtly, catching the tone of sadness. She went back into fighting stance.

Colorless looked at Joyless.
I wonder why she wants to destroy something as beautiful as Abyssclan, she thought. It's perfect just the way it is... But I'll pretend to help. I'll watch and wait...

OOC: A spy!

[Loki]

OOC: She'll slip up soon, Muhahahaha, Joy is not the cat you think you know *cold evil laugh*
IC:
Eyeless stood again and charged at Joyless, trying to brake this awkward feeling. Joy jumped high. No!
Eyeless thought, On the ground I can feel the movements but in the air....
Joyless landed on her, though this time Eyeless fell limp. "huh?" Joyless mewed a tint of sarcasm flowing through her eyes.
Eyeless caught her off guard and knocked her off her feet, pinning Joyless. "Good." Joyless choked, "But your killing me!"
"oh... sorry." Eyeless stood down, letting Joy come up again. "Eh... I'm used to it."

OOC: Notice how I switch from Joy to joyless? To show Joyless is unsure of her self

[Longstorm]

OOC: Nice! Charrie depth!

IC: Colorless, not wanting to spar with her current partner, switched over to Hopeless.
"Let's go," she mewed, leaping at Hopeless.

Hopeless ducked and jumped forward, batting at Colorless's stomach.

Colorless flopped to the side and growled in frustration. She readied herself as Hopeless jumped at her, and Colorless reared up, batting Hopeless to the side - but only a little.

[Loki]

OOC: *deep ebil bakura laugh* muhaahahaha BTW I still havn't found that perfect laugh for SS

Joyless blinked, "Frustration ends the link between your heart and soul Colorless, You may have been knocked down ounce, but were the rebellion, we'll stand back up. Keep your self controlled and you'll be unbeatable."

OOC: That was a yu-gi-oh quote lol, a duel between joey and... I think it could have been Kaiba...
BTW For some reason I knew that Colorless was going to be a bad guy... I need to find the post that
made me think this.

[Longstorm]

OOC: Hah, the sides that each Stolen would choose was decided before they were ever played! Ah, I lub Bakura... Poor Ryo!

IC: Colorless nodded, grim determination in her eyes. She fell into the fighting stance and waited.

Hopeless nodded and leaped at Colorless.

Colorless slid under the older she-cat and 'raked' sheathed claws over her soft belly fur, catching Hopeless's legs in the process.
It paid to spy on the Warriors.

Hopeless cried out in surprise as she flipped forward, landing on her back.

Colorless flipped over, falling back into the stance, but it was modified, crouching lower, something more like the hunter's crouch.

[Loki]

Joyless narrowed her eyes, thought began to fall through her mind and whispers echoing into the very realms of uncertainty. Joy blinked, "Very good. Hopeless, Use your tail to spin around- thats what its for. We'll move on."
Eyeless nodded. She wasn't keen on this move...
"Now... This move Is the most useful of all the tactics, yet all you have to do is dive. Eyeless attack me?"
Eyeless nodded and charged at Joy, At the last second Joy slid from her grasp and ran a paw across her side, and catching her tail, Eyeless gasped. Off balance again she tumbled over.
"Its simple, but performed wrong and in a serious battle you could loose a leg... or worse."

[Longstorm]

Hopeless watched the move with interest and tried to copy it - Colorless was way ahead of her, and she dove and snagged Hopeless's tail. Hopeless fell, her legs sprawling out. But, to her credit, Hopeless sprung back up and leapt on top of the she-cat's back, flattening her.
Caught like a rabbit!

[Loki]

Suddenly Joyless had an idea, after a while they would all play a game, she would call it, Elimination! Joyless padded up, "Hopeless is good, You learn faster then a hare could run, Colorless never be too quick to claim victory."
She padded up to Eyeless.
"Ready?"
"Ready!"
Joyless charged at Eyeless.
Eyeless reared and turned to the side then turning in time to slide her paw across Joyless' back, But Joyless had jumped behind her and knocked her down. "Never expect the expected, expect the unexpected and you'll find it easier."
"Um... okay."
Eyeless charged then slid under Joyless knocking her off her feet. "WOAH!!!" Gasped Joyless.
"Wait... Did you hear that?"
"Hear wha...."
A loud painfull shriek in the distance...

[Runfast]

Loveless, Grace, and Dauntless all looked towards the sound.
"Sounds like someone's in trouble," Dauntless gasped.

Loveless looked at Grace then at Joy.
"... Let's go!" He and Dauntless began to pad quickly in the direction of the cry.

Grace looked around, thinking of her kits. What if their was a fight? She couldn't afford to get hurt now...

[Loki]

Joyless watched the others go. "I don't think that was a cat..." She mewed almost to herself.
She joined them as they padded swiftly through the forest. New leaf breeze dulling the day as the sun was
mid high. An odd scent seemed to pass over the rebellion, a smell that seemed a little familiar to joy but not quite. She could Only just remeber it, though this was different.

Eyeless gasped, Joy turned around her claws un-sheafed expecting danger but baby thistles had snagged her pelt.
"New leaf brings so much Joy to my heart." Eyeless mewed as Joy knocked away the thistles. Joyless turned, obviously misunderstanding the pun and took lead further up, she looked around her, They were growing further away from the camp. Dangerously further. But curiosity gripped her, so she padded forward.

Eyeless scowled, why was Joyless taking the lead? Her fur prickled, "Slow down!" She snapped angrily, although she couldn't see that Joyless had padded off.

Joyless felt her mouth water, she smelt something that smelt so good, but that nasty familiar scent was near.
She padded on. Soon she came to a ditch and gasped in horror.
Bellow was this... dog like creature although much bigger and its pelt was wiry and dirty, not like the small swift black dog with facila markings that ran around the field chasing sheep.
She padded down. A small deer lay dead next to it. They both seemed dead. The dear would suit ten cats a filling meal but was small enough for five to carry. She sniffed the dog like creature first, its limbs were stiffining and its sides failed to rise. "Its legs are broken..." She muttered. She looked up, This creature must have attempted the deer (OOC: Its a muntjak calf (their VERY small))
But failed to see this steep fall.
It looked skinny and its fur sagged so it was probably desperate...
