Grimclaw sank his claws into the Willow as he climbed up to the top his strong muscles helping to get to his Leaders den, Grimclaw stopped outside and poked his head in his eyes glowing in the darkness. "Daystar are you in, I need to speak to you it's Urgent." Grimclaw pulled his head back and waited respectfully for his leader.

"Grimclaw,come in.Is your paw better?"asked Daystar.

Grimclaw walked in and nodded to Daystar. "Yes Daystar it is, Just needed a little time in the snow and a rest, I'm as spry as a squirrel but I came to talk to you about something important, Those Badgers." Grimclaw sat down looking his leader directly in the eyes. "They cornered Snowfeather by those big boulders off to the east don't worry she is fine I managed to run it off seasons how I did it I will never know but it just ran off or Snowfeather and myself wouldn't be here right now." Grimclaw shuddered just a little remembering the size of that monster. "I want permission to take a force and clear those badgers out, They hunt and attack us in our own lands and they have to go Daystar, If they don't what happens to a young Apprentice who is out Hunting and his Mentor doesn't get there fast enough?" Grimclaws eyes blazed with fury at that shaking his head. "No we cannot allow that, you cannot allow that to happen, I offer myself to lead but if you wish someone else too I will follow but those Badgers have to go."

"I approve.I found out that Oakclaw and Firepelt were trying to sabotage you.Don't take them,take me and snowfeather.You may not know,but before I met Eclipse,I was one of the most dedly cats in tawnyclan.I killed 14 cats in one night,so I think I'll be helpful..."

Grimclaw bowed his head. "Daystar if you come you lead as leader of our clan it is your right and I will follow you to Starclan to protect this clan, Though Oakclaw and Firepelt may have plotted we can't risk them not being there so I ask you to allow them to come, At least my enemy will be in my sight and not at my back." Grimclaw stood up walking towards the exit. "Daystar tell us when your ready to go and will be ready, those badgers need to find a new home because they are not welcome here." Grimclaw walked out of the Willow den and jump down glad Daystar would be fighting with them it made Grimclaw glow with pride to have a clan leader like him.

"Grimclaw,before this mission,I would like to announce you as deputy to the clan.You've been one of the most loyal cats I've ever had in this clan.You will be announced at moonhigh,because of Windblow's coma...."Daystar sighed."He was a great warrior,and I don't think he'll wake up..."

Grimclaw walked over laying his tail on Daystar's shoulder. "Windblow is a Honorable and noble warrior and will wake up, When that day comes he will become your Deputy once again and I a warrior for the clan, But until he does I swear I will do everything in my power to Assist you and make Dewclan great I give you my oath." Grimclaw smiled looking back, Snowfeather is out and won't be able to assist in the badger attack but if we hurry we can bring them down while there sleeping.
