Month Long Summary Empty Re: Month Long Summary

Scourge sends cats to the City (Paleclaw, Terra, and Razorclaw) to get them to negotiate with CityClan. To form a better working relationship with their sister-Clan. They had a little bit of trouble with the Chancellor Satin and his goons. So Paleclaw sent word back to Scourge and asked for a solution. Scourge gave him one.
Mysteriously, Satin ends up falling off of a roof, dead, with no one having been present to witness it.
This made the Council veeeerrry suspicious of the AbyssClan cats. But, even so, some of the other Council members almost immediately switched their allegiance over to a new Chancellor, a stranger named Rain.
Paleclaw naturally suspected that Rain was really just a puppet leader who was being controlled by one of the Council members. But since the Council seemed to not be causing much trouble, it wasn't a big deal to him.
However, the cats of the City and of CityClan still weren't very into the idea of having stronger AbyssClan involvement, despite what the representatives had to say with their new campaign tactic (offering knowledge exchange, classes for cats who wanted to learn more about fighting, or tracking, or herblore, and so on.). And even there were those who didn't mind it, it was more like they just didn't care. It was getting sort of difficult to get an in with these CityClan cats.
Sometimes, the AbyssClan cats missed Satin. At least he had been willing to argue with them over re-integration and not just ignore them.

It wasn't until word of a movement within the outliers of CityClan reached the ears of the AbyssClan cats that they found common ground with the City. Two cats from MudbloodClan, stolen from the City, had been giving grand speeches over how Falsecall was an usurper and a tyrant, a murderer, and how he must be stopped, and that it would take many paws to achieve this goal. More and more CityClan cats seemed to be jumping onto the idea, and AbyssClan joined them.
As soon as AbyssClan changed their tune and started to endorse and support the movement, cats actually started to pay attention to AbyssClan (especially since the movement had also blamed AbyssClan for the whole Falsecall thing anyway). And so, AbyssClan found their "in" with the City.

Of course, there was more to it than this - political intrigue, the "savages" from the forest attempting to decode the strange subtleties of CityClan society, dealing with the members of the Council and their puppet Chancellor - but, even so, within the moon, AbyssClan had a band of CityClan cats over 50 strong trained in the fighting arts, all of whom wanted nothing more than to see Falsecall removed from his position of tyranny.
What exactly would happen after Falsecall was dead, AbyssClan wasn't yet certain. But they knew that they had to keep finding a way to get through to the cats of the City, to prove to them that they had plenty to offer, and that this relationship would be beneficial to both sides...
Or else Scourge would probably start killing more people. Who knew? It could happen.

Month Long Summary Empty Re: Month Long Summary

Within the Clan AbyssClan specifically, quality of life generally improved for everyone. They all sort of had to figure out how to "trust" one another again, as well as move to a new camp on a separate part of the hill, but they were working it out. Thankfully, this new camp didn't really seem to flood like the last one.
As time went by, Whitehare of DewClan went from being a prisoner to sort of being a part of the Clan. What with more cats from CityClan coming on in for training those days, it didn't seem that weird to the others.
Things were really changing. The former servants were being taught in the ways of fighting and secret knowledge and all of the ways of a full, respected member of AbyssClan. And the cats of the City who were training purely to fight against the Mudbloods saw this and wondered if there was maybe more to the life of an AbyssClan cat than they had ever thought?
Cunningheart thrived on being able to train new grunts battle skills. She was even more thrilled at the prospect of engaging in combat with other scrubs. She was super down for it.
The new kit Protector learned well under Cunningheart's wing in the month that passed too. The new camp seemed to bring new life and energy to everyone in the Clan, and they were all happier for it.

But they knew this wasn't it. It wouldn't just be all happiness and reintegrating, no. AbyssClan was a Clan built of hardship. And whatever was coming next after this lull, well. They were born ready for the challenge.
And so Cunningheart lead Whitehare, and Suki and her troupe down into the lower lands to face off against Falsecall, and Switchblade and Despairingcall were not fair behind.
The cats of AbyssClan and of CityClan had an interesting future ahead of them, and they were prepared to meet it.
