CLOSED Cats on a Plane
Pilot Tom Manners was had been dealing with the knowledge that he had 30+ illegal stowaways on his plane for the past two hours. They were cats. Feral cats. Thirty cats hiding in the back of his plane and he hadn't realized it until a few hours ago. He had been in the air for some time, the sun was making its way westward, and he was pretty sure that one of the cats was giving birth in the back of his plane.
Spottedfern was, in fact, giving birth. This had started mild panic amongst the cats which turned into proper panic, especially when the two-leg noticed them.
Tom didn't think he could make it to his destination with all this commotion. He needed to call it in. He picked up his radio and said, "This is Pilot Tom Manners to the nearest air strip, over."
A pause. "Roger-dodger Tom, what's your number?"
"Applejack 973, over," he said into the receiver. "What's your location? I'm about six miles out from Belleville."
"We're a few miles beyond Belleville," the person on the other end responded. "Bell Field. We're a sort of busy field - running shipments."
"I need to make an emergency landing, Bell Field."
"I'm sorry?"
"An emergency landing. It can't wait."
"What's the emergency?"
"It's cats."
"What."
Tom sighed. "Cats." He pressed the button on the receiver and held it behind him towards the back of the plane.
"MEOW, MEOW, MEEEEEEOOOOW, MRRRRROOOOW" "HIIIISSSS, MROOOOOW, MEOW, MEOW, MEOW," "SCREEEEEEECH, HIIIIISSSS, MEW MEW MEW, MEOW MEOW," and so on, the voices of many cats screeching through the mic and into the ears of the person at Bell Field, making them jump at the burst of noise.
Tom spoke again. "It really can't wait. I'm coming down." He prepared for descent.
"Roger, Tom, we'll clear an outfield for you."

Re: CLOSED Cats on a Plane
Continued...
Pilot Tom Manners eased his plane to the ground and touched down safely. He pulled the plane up to a stop 100 feet later. Then he turned around in his seat to look at the cats, which had long since gone silent, and the cats looked back at him (with new additions since one of the she-cats had given birth earlier). Tom pressed a button - a door opened.
From outside, some workers were looking at the unexpected plane that had landed. Somewhere an Animal Control truck was approaching, but that was a long ways off anyhow, since it was coming from a different town.
From within the plane they suddenly heard: "OUT! OUT! OUT! OUUUUUUUUTT! AAAAAAARRRRRG!" Nearly forty cats leapt out of the plane and fled the runway, some cats big and some small, and a few had kittens in their mouths. The cats zoomed around the workers with ease, ran out the gate, and vanished into the woods beyond the runway.
What. The. Hell.
