A Sickening Day - CLOSED Empty A Sickening Day - CLOSED

Post by Meany Tue Jan 18, 2011 1:16 am

Robingsong, an older she-cat warrior of Darkclan, was pacing (and coughing) in the snowy clearing of Darkclan camp.
"Where is Thornstar!" she yowled to no one.

From his den, Blackpaw cowered.
"I don't want to go out there," he whispered to his brother, Foxpaw.

Thornstar, ill leader of Darkclan, stumbled into the clearing, snarling.
"What," he yowled. He'd been gone for nearly a moon, and now he had returned. "Here! I! Am! What is so mouse-brained important!"

Blueblossom, mate to Thornstar, and soon-to-be mother of his kits, creeped into the Apprentice's Den.
"I'm right there with you, Blackpaw," she mewed quietly.

Robinsong, foam beginning to drip from her lips, turned on Thornstar, snarling.
"Where have you been?"

Blackpaw looked at Blueblossom and nodded.
"Yeah... It's not right," he shook his head, looking at the blue-eyed she-cat.

Thornstar flattened his ears and at the she-cat and rowred,
"I've been with Starclan, I've been with the Dark Forest, I've been with the diseased of all... It's none of your business!" He clawed at her but it didn't connect.
"We're going to the Gathering!" he yowled to all. "Longflight! Blueblossom... Silverfur!"

Blueblossom looked at the apprentices and shivered.
"I don't want to go to the Gathering," she whispered.

Thornstar spun around and hissed,
"No one asked you!" He turned back around and snarled at Robinsong, "Where's Redfall!?!"

OOC: Alright, then.

IC: Thornstar looked over his shoulder but said nothing.
"SILVERFUR!!!" he yowled to the med-cat den.

Blueblossom inched back into the apprentice's den.

Silverfur, proud medicine cat of Darkclan, padded out of the Medicine Cat's Den, head heal high.
"Thornstar," he mewed cooly. "You've returned." He looked around the camp, at the frightened faces, at the mad faces.

Thornstar laughed, a now-ugly sound.
"Yes, I'm back," he mewed in a mocking voice. "I'm going to the Gathering tonight - you'll be coming with me!"

Blueblossom looked at the apprentices and mewed,
"I heard a rumor that Redfall attends the Gatherings... We should go with them."

OOC: He can tag along.

IC: Thonrstar looked at the apprentices den and yowled,
"Blueblossom!"

Blueblossom looked at the apprentices and left the den.
"Yes, Thornstar," she dipped her head to him.

Thornstar ignored the gesture.
"You're coming to the Gathering with me. We leave now." To attend the Gathering, Darkclan had to skirt Dewclan's territory, which was a half-day's journey. This meant that they always had to leave early... You know, when they actually went.

Blueblossom nodded.
"Yes, Thornstar." She looked over her shoulder at... Who? she thought. She looked at the apprentices and gestured for them to follow, Smokepelt as well, and she followed Thornstar out of the camp.

OOC: We're on our way! cheers
