OOC: I haven't been RPing here for a LONG time, and my kits needs some actions before becoming apprentices.


IC: Smokekit dashed out the nursery as his sister cried, "Wait for me!"

"Why do we have to be related, anyways?" Smokekit muttered under his breath as he reluctantly slowed to a halt. Gentlekit appeared out the nursery, limping slowly as always.

"Can't you walk faster?" Smokekit huffed.

Gentlekit only looked at him sadly with her soft, warm eyes. "I'm sorry, Smokekit, I can't. And you know it."

Ravenswift, Who was sunning near the side of the warriors den, Cocked his head forward to hear the two kits nagging about each other. He sighed slowly and heaved his long furred body forward to the kit. He felt true pity to Gentlekit. To know that he could have stopped the rogue from stepping onto her newborn legs... It just made him nearly queasy to think that someone would do something cruel like that, But there was my father...

" Smokekit, don't be rude to your own kin. That's not how any Apprentice would react!" he mewed to the two, turning his scarred, Emerald gaze to the darkly furred brother. " Like your sister, you should adapt with what has happened."

At Ravenswift's words, Smokekit hung his head as a pain of remorse shot through him. It wasn't her sister's fault that she was crippled forever. He sighed, But sometimes I wish I had a normal sister to play with. He turned to his sister and muttered, "I'm sorry, Gentlekit."

Gentlekit only dipped her head, acknowledging that his forgiveness was accepted. "Well, what do you want to do now?" She mewed brightly.

Ravenswift slouched his tail against the ground just slightly, and padded away. He thought that hunting would be good for the clan, as well as getting his head out of the metaphorical clouds.

Smokekit first thought of suggesting the Tall Rock, but decided to do something to make it up to his sister. "You can choose first." He mewed. Inside, he can almost feel Conscience smiling at him.
